  1. And it’s quite clear you have less than zero idea either. The military is huge on discipline and rules being followed. Zero chance he wouldn’t Land in hot water for that. Xoxo former military kid, born in a military hospital during the military occupation of Germany
  2. I don’t speak Italian but I can read enough body language to get the distinct impression the Italians were initially quite unimpressed that they picked the yank. The way the woman on TG5 special show said “un paps… Americano” spoke VOLUMES. Also my bfs family not impressed either. It’s the only thing that’s been on Italian TV all evening. Highlight of the coverage was one of the on the street interviews they did with some priests from Texas. The dude went off on some stream of shite about the Holy See being filled and gods plan and the presenter on the street who had to live translate for the audience at home translated less than half of it 🤣 my other half said he cut quite a lot out and knowingly Obviously not in Roma or Lazio but still interesting experience to be in Italy for it

Alpine not be a mess for just one season challenge Only five races it says which implies some Toro Rosso Liuzzi/Klien back and forth bullshit. I’m guessing that Oakes was very strongly against this and decided he’d rather quit than defend what has clearly been Briatores plan from the start

It’s extremely hard to be able to freely comment on what’s happening in Gaza as someone applying for German citizenship because the German Gov take any slight or vague criticism of the actions of the Israeli army and government as Nazi levels of antisemitism. There are some wild mental gymnastics going on here to avoid acknowledging that their commitment to “never again” comes with exceptions

From what I understand, that is a monumental scalp. Dutton, while politically absolutely rancid, is well regarded locally and was generally well liked in his constituency and anecdotally would remember people months later having met them briefly once at an event. My friend circle is fairly left in Aus so it’s not reflective but they’re very much any Labor gov is better than than suffering through more coalition From what I’ve read, This is the first federal government to have made it through a full term and haven been reelected with an increased seat share. AusPol has certainly stabilised in recent years compared to their phase a wee while ago at being Italy and throwing out either a gov or a PM every few months
  7. Congrats Addy!!!! Top 20 for Elodie is a nice showing, I’m happy with that! Huge thanks and congrats to Josh for an excellent first time hosting! Was a flawless rendition
  8. Honestly the stuff the Vatican has on display in its museum is nothing compared to what sits in the vaults under it. There is priceless artefacts and wealth hidden away from view. The Catholic Church may just be the richest institution on earth
  9. It’s for sure a thing, and it’s not restricted to the U.K. either. Happens a lot in Berlin and just yesterday in Genova we passed a young couple walking up the Main Street blaring and half singing along to music from a phone. It’s unenforceable as a law, but parents should be better at educating their children about respect for others and society. So many problems we have could be solved if people just had a little more respect for each other
  10. Congratulations on the new place! You’re willing to rearrange half your schedule to vote, defo no ban. That rule needs an update

No at 6am the next day we drove 1200km to northern Italy 😅 They were so good! My bf was impressed by their vocals and enjoyed it. Tho he thought they are a bit introverted/weird coz they do like no crowd interaction I thought it was a shame we had none of the visuals in Berlin. But otherwise I really enjoyed it. I had a borderline out of body experience to Weeds. That was unreal live. I transcended
  14. You know I’ve always said chatGPT was a c**t Don’t get how serial winners Aeroche get no backlash but once in a blue moon winners Rd‘Á are suddenly gonna suffer a winner backlash. Leck mich ChatGPThief

Just started watching this. Bit weird but in an interesting way
  20. It’s been a while But I’ve now also seen Gabrielle and Nico Santos as hoped! I have got only a couple of concerts booked this year but one is Sugababes 1.0 and the other is Gabrielle (and Linken Park) so that’s an exciting few months. Not on my list of wishes because I didn’t quite think it would ever happen but it did was Delta Goodrem who I’ve now seen THREE times live. The first of which involved the very first FSR Ashvia meet up at Deltas first UK headlining gig. Truly a historic moment. I’ve also seen my very first winner Molly Sandén live who was phenomenal, it’s been a year and I’m still shook. Nina Chuba was also seen last summer. Since the last update I also saw Mutya at a solo gig at RVT which was incredible. The vibes were immaculate, her lip piercing broke halfway through and then she spontaneously added Suffer For Love to the set list because she was „suffering for us“ a true queen. I’ve seen Leony twice as well, Remedy remains a banger and goes off live. That’s about all I can remember. I’ve seen a bunch of ESC acts too lately but none of the ones I’ve seen have been entered into BJSC other than Loreen

Yeah at this point I think it’s safe to say that most have already seen everything So glad you had a great time!!! I heard they didn’t have the satellite stage/catwalk from the UK tour in Antwerp so I’m hoping that’s the case for the whole of the European tour quite selfishly coz my soundcheck ticket is gonna get me a primo spot on the barrier 😅😅😅😅
  22. Aaaah you were at Antwerp tonight? Jeal! I still have to wait until Sunday :'(
  23. Gotta say quite pleasantly surprised by the quality in SF2, might be my fave semi of the year so far - tho the bar for that isnt exactly high

Ultimately this is not surprising in any way shape or form. Despite having 4.5 years ahead of them in power and a massive minority they’re acting like a minority government days away from announcing a dogfight of an election. You cannot govern catering to a narrow by noisy minority and by stooping to their level all you do is legitimise their shite and move the Overton Window further. They have a huge majority, it’s a shame to see how utterly unambitious they are. They could simply brush this under the carpet with a swift „hmmm, yes. I see. Well we are grateful to the petitioners for making us aware of the various passages of the Equalities Act that require modernisation. We will bring forward in due course an amendment to the Equalities Act to better reflect the updates brought forward by the Gender Recognition bill and codify the rights and dignity of all the vulnerable, minority and marginalised communities protected by the Equalities Act“ and then be firm but fair with „we will change the equalities act to ensure the dignity of all, why are you discriminating against a protected minority?“
