This is a partially leveraged buyout and there’s no f***ing way EA can service those debts without even more microtransactions than we see today I also expect them to continue to acquire, ruin, and then kill off new properties and studios. I honestly do not understand why people come to the U.K. because of how expensive it is. It cost me 255 EUR to apply for naturalisation in Berlin and I’ll spend about 150 EUR applying for my ID card and Passport next week. Up until now my life here has cost me 37 EUR as that was the cost of getting my Brexit residency card. The German equivalent of ILR costs 56,50 EUR If I wanted to move back to the U.K. with my Italogerman partner, it’d cost over 5k Genuinely makes me question why people move to somewhere with such a high barrier to entry
