Florence was already winning this one from the get go. Not a fan though myself so an easy but rather useless vote for Alice Deejay!

Neither of these are 21st century :P

What are some songs covered that you prefer and even love more than the original that was released between 2000 and 2019? For me ones that come to mind atm. Johnny Cash - Hurt Mark Ronson & Amy Winehouse - Valerie (though I didn't like it much initially). Gary Jules and Michael Andrews - Mad World Adele - Make You Feel My Love Muse - Feeling Good P!nk - Try

My highlights from those two weeks are All Saints (obviously an all timer), Christina, Kelis, Shania, Aqua and I like Artful Dodger and Backstreet Boys tracks as well.

and it makes it back in today at #35!. Crazy it only spent 3 weeks top 40 looking back!

Great to have this back in <3

Congrats nine!

Never paid much attention to 'Heatwave' either. The follow up was a bit preferable but don't think I ever listened to anything of Wiley's out of choice. 'Wearing My Rolex' was okay though and the Roll Deep #1's! I do rather like Gabrielle Aplin's softer cover of 'The Power of Love' though.

Baha Men doing surprisingly quite well. Don't think it lasted very long last time round ala Robbie/Nicole. Edit : yep out in 9th then.

Chain Reaction for me.

'Abracadabra' again as I love 'Alejandro' much more and the other two are classic Gaga obvs.

Shakedown though Baha Men were also in consideration.

Dutch DJ's Zentveld & Oomen are to leave next. They are otherwise known as Angel City and had four top 40 hits. 'Do You Know (I Go Crazy) was,the first of two top 10's for them when it peaked at 8 in 2004. The track samples the lyrics from Michelle Gayle's 1997 top 10 hit and places them over thr late Italian DJ Robert Miles's instrumental composition 'Children' which peaked at 2 in 1995. 6 Angel City - Do You Know (I Go Crazy) (7/23 votes) 7 Will Young - Changes (8/26 votes) 8 Flo Rida Ft T-Pain - Low (7/27 votes) 9 Daniel Bedingfield - I Can't Read You (9/27 votes) 10 Elvis Presley - Wooden Heart (21/31 votes) Vote Your Least Fave

In 2001 Robbie Williams teamed up with actress Nicole Kidman to release 'Somethin' Stupid' which is an cover originally recorded C Carson Parks and his wife Gail Foote but is famously released by Frank and Nancy Sinatra. It comes off Robbie's Swing album Swing When You're Winning and became the Christmas #1. It first appeared in the No.30 Survivor where it was out in 9th place so a vast improvement this time round! 4 Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman - Somethin' Stupid (18/26 votes) 5 Les Rythmes Digitales - Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat) (11/25 votes) 6 Daz Sampson - Teenage Life (9/28 votes) 7 VS - Love You Like Mad (9/23 votes) 8 Nelly Ft Fergie - Party People (7/30 votes) 9 Kanye West Ft T-Pain - Good Life (8/31 votes) 10 One True Voice - Sacred Trust / After You're Gone (14/28 votes) Vote your Least Fave

I like both of those as well. 'Twilight' was certainly a forget about it immediately upon exiting the chart.. hit, like has been mentioned already. A catchy track and I like the vocals too, really like the intro to it too. 'He Aint Heavy...' is a great song as it is and that's a solid rendition.

I like 'Somethin Stupid' over that particular Madonna song so voting Madge now. (Would also have voted Florence out around this stage but I'll stay quiet 🤭) .

Les Rythmes Digitales one hit wonder 'Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat)' is out in 5th. It peaked at 9. LRD is much more established under his real name Stuart Price as a songwriter and producer and has produced for acts such as Madonna, Take That, Kylie Minogue, The Killers among many others. 5 Les Rythmes Digitales - Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat) (11/25 votes) 6 Daz Sampson - Teenage Life (9/28 votes) 7 VS - Love You Like Mad (9/23 votes) 8 Nelly Ft Fergie - Party People (7/30 votes) 9 Kanye West Ft T-Pain - Good Life (8/31 votes) 10 One True Voice - Sacred Trust / After You're Gone (14/28 votes) Vote your Least Fave
