  1. 15. Taylor Swift - Christmas Tree Farm / 56 points Taylor Swift released 'Christmas Tree Farm' in 2019 which is about her childhood memories with the family at Christmas. It recieved 56 points and as of now has a peak of 44 in the UK! 14. Mumford and Sons - Winter Winds / 57 points and one point above we have Mumford and Son's with their single 'Winter Winds' which just so happened to chart around Christmas time in 2009 but missed top 40.
  2. 17. Water Babies - Under The Tree / 49 points Written by Peter Lawlor, formerly of 90's band Stiltskin and released as an advertisement for Vodafone 3G.. we have Water Babies and their one hit 'Under The Tree' on 49 points. The track first charted at 30 but in the following week climbed another 3 spots to it's peak of 27 in December 2005! 16. Sugababes - New Year / 51 points Following on from their debut single we had Sugababes release 'New Year' which peaked at 12. It ends up in 16th here with 51 points.
  3. 18. The Killers - Cowboy's Christmas Ball / 31 points Not too far ahead of Bieber, we have The Killers with their only song making it through to the final and the 6th straight Christmas release they put out, also from 2011. The lyrics are taken off a 1890's poem of the same name by William Lawrence Chittenden.
  4. 19. Justin Bieber - Mistletoe / 28 points Justin Bieber received 28 points with his 2011 Christmas song which was only when Justin wasn't long into the music industry. 'Mistletoe' currently remains having a #21 peak in the chart despite re-entering with the annuals every year!
  5. 20. The Courteeners - Winter Wonderland / 12 points Picking up only 12 points and coming bottom of the pack is Manchester formed indie band The Courteeners with 'Winter Wonderland'. They have 5 UK top 40 hits to their name between 2008 to 2010.
  6. Right starting this in the next 10 or so minutes.
  7. Gracie seems the safest option so voted her but hopefully she drops off for Lola or ROSÉ to get there after that.
  8. 56 is really solid for a second year!
  9. Probably should've gone for 37 being safe lol. 'The Days' did have the habit of staying in with the influx through December which made me go for 36 lol.
  10. Not overly familiar with a lot of those (the Cliff songs I might've heard before). That cover of 'Knocking On Heaven's Door' is okay.
  11. We have chosen our ultimate Christmas song of the Century aside from 2020's and will start revealing the results later this evening. The good news is all of the songs have got points :cheer:
  12. Myles Smith - Nice To Meet You most likely.
  13. Have created a top 40 albums of 2004 on Sporcle. It's not in order like on wiki ie has been randomised. Have fun getting as many as you can ^_^ https://www.sporcle.com/games/test/eu8929d0HQ
  14. Linkin Park and Gaga/Bruno my main faves from the top 150 section.
  15. 'Rudebox' again.
  16. 'American Idiot' for me now but still a tune itself!
  17. Was a monumental time indeed this chart. Journey at the time getting a top 10 hit was so awesome and Gaga, BEP, Robbie and Rihanna's tracks were great inside the top 10 for me. George's track was fine but not one I ever check. Christmas classics were sliding somewhat for a few years after the initial download era boom
  18. Of course the superior 'Hallelujah' missing out here but I did like Alexandra's cover at that point but would only listen check Jeff's. 1. Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah (NEW) 2. Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (30) 4. Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy (9) 5. Geraldine - Once Upon A Christmas Song (NEW) 6. James Morrison feat Nelly Furtado - Broken Strings (18) (remembered this looking to remain at having a 18 peak then, thankfully the royal variety helped it out but it went on to do far better than expected ultimately). 7. Kings of Leon - Use Somebody (2) 8. Beyoncé - Listen (60) 10. Britney Spears - Womanizer (4) 11. The Killers - Human (7) 12. The Pogues feat Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York (13) 14. Katy Perry - Hot N Cold (8) 16. Alesha Dixon - The Boy Does Nothing (11) 17. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You (12) 18. Akon - Right Now (Na Na Na) (6) 19. Girls Aloud - The Promise (20) 20. Beyoncé - Single Ladies - Put A Ring On It (24) Gabriella did well to get to #22, shame it never makes an appearance with this Christmas playlist effect stuff really but she is most known for her one hit so. Don't recall either of those Basshunter tracks being good and really liked both 'Angel In The Night' and 'All I Ever Wanted' before them. Rick-rolling back in to the top 75
  19. Shall be following this Sam ^_^
