  1. 'Red' and of course 'Red Wine Supernova' are both fab here. Also like 'Romeo', 'Dynamite', 'LOVE AGAIN', 'Santa's Coming For Us', 'Ma Meilleure Ennemie' - wow at this already being anywhere in here :o Am a fan of 'Broken Strings' as well which doesn't seem to be well liked on here.

Do hope this can pick back up after Christmas and hang around like 'exes' did at least!
  3. Best Michael Jackson - Beat It Michael Jackson - Billie Jean Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time Culture Club - Karma Chameleon David Bowie - Let's Dance (Sweet Dreams, Maneater, Total Eclipse and The Reflex all worthy too as are many more). Worst Lionel Richie - Truly Stevie Wonder - I Just Called To Say I Love You
  4. +10 Kelly Clarkson - Underneath The Tree +09 Darkness - Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End) +08 Gabriella Cilmi - Warm This Winter +07 Coldplay- Christmas Lights +06 Hurts - All I Want For Christmas Is New Year's Day +05 Sufjan Stevens - Christmas Unicorn +04 Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal +03 Britney Spears - My Only Wish This Year +02 The Killers - Cowboy's Christmas Ball +01 Band Aid 20 - Do They Know It's Christmas Did like the Courteeners, Glasvegas and Mumford songs that I hadn't been familiar with as well and Water Babies would be in the next few outside mine too!
  5. Shall also be following this! 'Low' is a jam tbh. One I wasn't keen on at that time but can't deny it's an classic of the rap genre. 'Charlie Brown' is a solid Coldplay track and 'Magic' is nice enough. 'Survival' is alright and not keen on 'Like I Would'.
  6. Fall Out Boy for me although having checked it again it's at least passable for them as not a fan generally.
  7. Would rather listen to 'Get Sexy' over 'Girls' :P did chart it at the time but not denying it's generic and noisy and a total sellout moment. However Robbie's is rubbish for me so gone for 'Rudebox'.
  8. Could easily be just the three mentioned but that Crystal track has remained in all month with the Christmas hits so could see 36 and have voted 36!
  9. 'Hot To Go', 'Training Season', 'Perfect (Exceeder)', 'Nanana' and 'Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors' all ones I either love or like from that recap!

Both 'It Feels So Good' and 'Sky' are fab

Was clearly on the horizon but it's official now that from Jan 3rd Smackdown will be extended to 3 hours!
  12. Turning to Aurora now.
  13. Wizzard above Slade here *.* 'Change' found all the singles from this era very strong and Cascada's 'What Hurts The Most' is great too. Was glad to see that go top 10 just about. Of course other great hits like 'Rule The World', 'Call The Shots' and 'No One' riding high as was 'Apologize'.

+5 APT +4 Messy +3 Fairytale Of New York +2 Rockin Around The Christmas Tree +1 All I Want For Christmas Is You -1 Last Christmas -2 Jingle Bell Rock -3 Santa Tell Me -4 That's So True -5 It Can't Be Christmas
  15. Gabrielle's is my clear fave here so happy for it to win and I also much prefer it to the original too  (am a fan of the other two Frankie hits though).
  16. Wow that's phenomenal sales for '2 Become 1' :o stunning track and nice video to accompany it too!
  17. Would be nice if this did sneak in for a week next week!
  18. Nice to see an unexpected Christmas oldie top your chart Conor and great to see Chris De Burgh also in lower down. Sam Ryder's is so much better than Tom Grennan's too!
  19. Not heard that Royel Otis track but have heard several of others by them including 'Linger' of course that did nothing for me as a cover. 'Oysters In My Pocket' I had sent to BJSC and was my top streamed song of 2024 too. Can't remember if you were in that contest but worth checking if you weren't. Also on the BJSC related stuff 'Nowhere To Go' was a grand entry and Brian from Placebo's voice really suits electronic dance! 'Belong Together' was decent for me as far as that folky guitar fad this year goes. 'WE PRAY' is absolutely the superior Coldplay song and was glad it did end up top 40 and had a little run inside it.
  20. Benson has had quite the year. Been a fan of all his singles ('Cry' the only one that didn't quite click but will likely re listen to at some point).
  21. To anyone who hasn't already you have 5 days remaining! Will get mine done at the weekend as well!
  22. Thanks for the later replies Cowtzy and Dan! ^_^
  23. Pharrell and Gwen! Fab that A1 have made the final 4 with their second best song!
