Love 'Boom Boom Boom Boom' and 'Bring It All Back'. Both take me back and are fun pop bangers. 'Pretty Fly..' is iconic too. Liked a lot of Offsprings output. My sister saw them in 2021 too and said they were fun. 'You Don't Know Me' is a tune also.

'Flying WithoutWings' is a nice enough track from them so no complaints about it being inside the top 20 likewise 'Blame It On The Weatherman'. 'Praise You' an utter classic and iconic video to go with it, would be higher for me. Lou's 'Mambo No 5' is a fun ditty that I enjoy when I hear it but not one I'd choose to listen to though. 'Livin La Vida Loca' another classic and 'Sweet Like Chocolate' is joyful and cute too. Both of these would be about the same position for me here!

Scene ranks the 2007 #1s
I did receive Leon's CD that Christmas 🤭 I don't dislike it or anything but nothing special either, Shayne's was the only winners single up to this point I really quite liked though. Can't say I like 'When You Believe' as a song whoever it's by tbh. Rather unimpressive on the whole.

Woop way to go Kylie. Refreshing to see someone else nab the Christmas 1 now and with a new Christmas track regardless of it being Alexa.

Will also go with Blue. Rather uninteresting upbeat number from them.

Voted for Coldplay but all are great!

'Fly Away' is a tune and still sounds great when I hear it on radio nowadays. 'She's The One' itself would probably be in my top 10. A beautiful song and the video was great too and is his best #1 imo. 'It's Only Us' is okay too but a b side for a reason really.

A strong top 2 to finish on there Jade. I didn't expect 'Crazy' to last quite that long on top mind but what a mammoth hit that was. Weird how they didn't keep up the momentum though after 'Smiley Faces' really. 'Welcome To The Black Parade' was a unexpected #1 imo too. Not sure if I expected it to go all the way (probably a top 10 scrape if anything) but it truly is a classic modern day rock anthem and this album is the only one I have and used to spam it lots too. So many good album tracks but I really really liked the 3 singles that came after too, 'Teenagers' especially. It's been thoroughly enjoyable reading this thread and covering the best year for chart music though not quite as stellar year for #1's for me looking back over for ranking them oops lol. 1 Madonna - Sorry 2 Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin 3 Meck & Leo Sayer - Thunder In My Heart 4 Shakira Ft Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie 5 My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade 6 Razorlight - America 7 Orson - No Tomorrow 8 Gnarls Barkley - Crazy 9 Arctic Monkeys- When The Sun Goes Down 10 McFly - Star Girl 11 Ne-Yo - So Sick 12 Beyoncé Ft Jay Z - Déjà Vu 13 Akon Ft Eminem - Smack That 14 Nelly Furtado - Maneater 15 Lily Allen - Smile 16 Take That - Patience 17 Chico - It's Chico Time 18 Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This 19 Justin Timberlake - Sexyback 20 McFly - Please Please / Don't Stop Me Now 21 Sandi Thom - I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker 22 Fedde Le Grande - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit 23 Notorious B.I.G. - Nasty Girl (feat. Diddy, Nelly, Jagged Edge & Avery Storm) 24 Westlife - The Rose

Love both of those and would have them higher up. 'Mi Chico Latino' is a fun breeze yet also sassy pop tune. 'We're Going To Ibiza' exhilarates fun too. Was a major Vengaboys fan growing up and this fit in nicely in the middle of their popularity. A fun song to sing along to.

Jade ranks the 2006 #1s
Never clicked with 'Maneater' unfortunately but the production is on point so can't fault that at all. Felt similarly with 'Promiscuous' too but I'd say I like that a tad more however the other two singles are way ahead for me. 'All Good Things (Come To An End)' is a lovely winter ballad and 'Say It Right' is fab. She came back with a statement with this era.

Tough but will give it to 'Can't Fight The Moonlight'. It's indeed a stellar pop song and Coyote Ugly is a great film too.

Not mad on either of those last two but I guess Mr Oizo does have the iconic video that will forever be etched in the mind.

'When You Say Nothing At All' is really nice for me and would be a little bit up though I don't know off by heart everything that's left lol so could be right placement for it even. Notting Hill is a great film too. Also like 'She' from the soundtrack too. Elvis Costello sings great on that.

It was originally released in 1990 when it then peaked at 5.. 18 years later German DJ, DJ Klaas remixed it in 2008 which helped it gain success once again and bettering the original peak by going straight in at 3 in November. German actress, TV host and model Janina Mrosek is the girl that's featured in the video for this remix. Sadly in 2015 Paul Dudley Walden took his life aged 51. 2nd : 13/31 votes (43%) 'Holding On For You' was the fifth and final single to be released from popstar rejects Liberty X who saw chart topping success earlier in the year with 'Just A Little'.
