The Final : Year End Survivor #100
Very briefly stepping back in as Julian's having some Internet issues in Cambodia! Daft Punk to win from these two but Sash! would have been my preferred other finalist, very close.

The Best Year of the 90's
98 and 99. Yes there were the rise of boybands etc but for me there was a lot of great nostalgia.

00s Revealed • Buzzjack's Fave 21st Century Xmas Song
It did soundtrack the Christmas Carol film so that was fair enough to include it for some as Fleet Foxes and Mumford and Sons were in there too of course. Ah now I see what the Water Babies track is. It's one of those I wouldn't know unless I checked it out oops lol. Nice for it being in and yeah an varied bunch!

00s Revealed • Buzzjack's Fave 21st Century Xmas Song
Britney's Christmas song is rather cute. Would love for it to get a top 40 peak someday! Killers really not doing well here, maybe they'll fare better in the 10's. Geraldine is an alright novelty song lol not one I'd go out of my way to hear though!

00s Revealed • Buzzjack's Fave 21st Century Xmas Song
Not heard the M&S song before :o was dubious about it being a Christmas song too as a couple of you did point out but it did chart at Christmas time. Shall look forward to hearing it anyhow. Kylie no surprise of course. Always assumed it was released in 1995 for some reason though but it was not.

00s Revealed • Buzzjack's Fave 21st Century Xmas Song
Did expect a couple more votes for S Club 7 but their fans mustn't have been represented too much. Tweenies is a guilty pleasure :kink: and The Killers track is good. Can't recall how The Feelings one went and was a fan of their first two eras oop. Unsurprising first two in there :P

Classic Christmas charts: 2004
Band Aid 20 a solid second for me in rankings of the Band Aid songs. Do quite like that Ronan one even with it being one he already did a decade earlier with Boyzone. Kylie rounds a goodish top 3. 'I Got You Babe' cover isn't great or anything but didn't mind it too much either. Lemar and Green Day repping the good tracks from the remainder of the top 10 for me along with one of Destiny's Childs better tracks there. I see Daz Sampson there in some form in the Top 20 too, 'Out Of Touch' is a tune and the Natasha and Gwen songs are good as well of course. Unsurprisingly don't care for any of the other new entries that week. That Electric Six cover is terrible and a bore from Cliff! MCR the only okay one but also not a highlight from them.

Round 2: 🎄John Lewis Official Singles🎄
Haven't checked those that went out although Slow Moving Millie I will have heard of before. Now having heard the others have gone for Lola, Bastille for both sucking the life out of the originals and Elton as its a classic in its own right and doesn't really count as a John Lewis song for me. 'Sonnet' and 'Sweet Child 'O Mine' are my next two in line though. The former will be for the same reason as Elton although not quite a classic as such and the latter again being another soulless cover of a rock great. Also not a fan of the Lily cover either :kink:

Julian rates every 21st century Top 40 hit
Week 51 and 52 Just A Day EP (all great but 'Just A Day' the track itself is the main stomper) > Lately (have this on CD so am biased to it being like a warm hug of a song, didn't realise it was a cover though) > Will I > Catch > I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever (probably the best of what I've heard of theirs) > Say Hello Wave Goodbye > Son Of A Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You) > Blast The Speakers > Somethin' Stupid > We're Not Gonna Sleep Tonight > Cry (it's peak was justified, not great this was) > Tarantula > Lullaby > Never Too Far/Don't Stop (Funkin' 4 Jamaica) > How Wonderful You Are Looking forward to 2002 when it comes ^_^

10's Reveal Buzzjacks Fave Christmas Songs
Hello and welcome to the next part of our Christmas voting thread. In this one we'll be casting votes for Christmas songs from the 2010's. Rank your Christmas top 5 faves between January 2010 to December 2019. It can a single, a b-side or even an album track that you feel deserves some love. Any song we feel doesn't quite fit as a Christmas song we will ask you to choose a replacement for but hopefully that won't come to fruition. The 10 songs with the most points will join the top 10 songs from the 00's and will culminate in a grand final in a weeks time. Below is the format for voting. +5 +4 +3 +2 +1 Deadline December 11th.
