Nelly and Justin would've been my next pick anyway so no loss there. Still on 'The Prayer'. I don't mind 'Flux' in the other poll though!

Scene ranks the 2007 #1s
Never liked 'Umbrella' much but then didn't start to like Rihanna's music until later that year with 'Don't Stop The Music'. It just grated on me to no end. I guess I can tolerate it a little now though as don't hear it quite as much. Thanks for doing this Scene. The chart thread links were a nice throwback touch! My ranking 1. Grace Kelly 2. About You Now 3. Ruby 4. Shine 5. With Every Heartbeat 6. The Way I Are 7. Bleeding Love 8. Stronger 9. Beautiful Liar 10. Give It To Me 11. Umbrella 12. When You Believe 13. Walk This Way 14. Baby's Coming Back / Transylvania 15. What A Wonderful World 16. I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) 17. A Moment Like This 18. Beautiful Girls I do like all of the top 10 but yes poor year for #1's overall.

Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2003 - #15
I actually quite liked that 'Big Yellow Taxi' cover especially considering I wasn't keen on 'A Thousand Miles' for years! Likewise with 'Crazy In Love' which gets my vote but I didn't come round to enjoying that until 2008 for some reason.

'With Every Heartbeat' is great. Not as much of a massive fave like others here but still really like it a lot. Was a strong era for Robyn. 'Bleeding Love' was also one I really enjoyed at the time and it was on top of my own chart for the same amount of weeks as the official chart but I'm actually less huge on it nowadays. Still a strong proper launch for Leona nonetheless.

Vengaboys seems the quick choice on paper I guess and it's not one of their strongest but still enjoyable for me. I've gone for Bloc Party first though!

Round 3 : Year End Survivor #135
It's farewell to Steps with their double A side 'Words Are Not Enough' and 'I Know Him So Well' - a cover in 1984 by Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson (which was #1 in 85). This was the groups final single from their initial run as they split on Boxing Day 2001 and was also included on their first greatest hits album Gold : Greatest Hits. Peaking at 5 it was Steps lowest selling single. They would eventually reunite in 2011 and again in 2017. 9 Steps - Words Are Not Enough / I Know Him So Well (11/29 votes) 10 Liberty X - A Night To Remember (10/30 votes) Vote your Least Fave!
