Mango's Chart Quiz: SONG PICTIONARY: THE RESULTS
Well 19 stumped me for ages. 'Sugar Sugar' was my initial guess but good thing I changed it and weirdly the "portrait" went past me for 20 at first too but of course a duh and would've kicked myself otherwise!

Mango's Chart Quiz: SONG PICTIONARY: THE RESULTS
Well 'Go West' never came to mind but Village People definitely made sense and now the song does too lol. Oops. My guess was ToTo- Hold The Line which is completely inaccurate of course ddd. Adele was clever and Foreigner took some time, had 'Love Of The Common People' for a while but it came into place being that!

Also I think in the back of the Snow Patrol one I didn't notice for ages but I think those are Patrolers in the back. It did look like they were going in a opposite direction to chasing!

Mango's Chart Quiz: SONG PICTIONARY: THE RESULTS
Well I would've been wrong had I submitted 'The Power Of Love' (for which i thought it was a nativity play!)but thankfully changed to Coldplay which made the most sense lol. Yay at 9 being one of the most correctly guessed!

Mango's Chart Quiz: SONG PICTIONARY: THE RESULTS
My only other guess I had in mind for 8 was 'Girls & Boys' lol but 'Kiss Me' came very quickly when you look into the context more! No doubts on the other two!

Mango's Chart Quiz: SONG PICTIONARY: THE RESULTS
Yeah I had 'Message In A Bottle' down for ages so could see Mack's thinking but then they are "walking" which suddenly came. 'Read All About It' of course for 5 but was stumped for a bit on that too.

Mango's Chart Quiz: SONG PICTIONARY: THE RESULTS
Yep Blondie was so obvious but I suppose they did have 'Call Me' as well but that was 1980 and this one was a year or so before it so was instant! Arctics another easy one. Had originally put down Salt n Pepper for RHCP but 'Push It' wouldn't have added up lol. The Bridge took a tiny bit of time to come into noticing!

Julian rates every 21st century Top 40 hit
Weeks 37 and 38 allSTARS* Things That Go Bump In The Night/Is There Something I Should Know? (this should be playing on radio at halloween with the others :( very inspired spooky pop track and an easy top song here for me, 'If There's Something I Should Know' is fine as well but not quite as great) > Hunter (another strong track from Dido) > It's Been Awhile (really good rock song, am familiar with some Staind tracks but not so up on the titles lol) > Twenty Four Seven (shame Melanie didn't have more of a solo career as this was very nice) > Come On Over > Starlight > Out Of Control (Back For More) (liking the vibe on this) > On The Move > Let Robeson Sing (not sure I've heard this one of theirs before but it's a lovely listen!) > Souljacker Part 1 (good beat to this and decent tune) > A Song For Shelter/Ya Mama (Ya Mama is the superior track here for me, the thoughtful lyrics are good but the beat is rather plodding on 'A Song For Shelter') > In The Air Tonite (agree Lil Kim's bits are great, the mix with Phil's classic works in some parts but also not others, still quite catchy) > Mambo No 5 > Who? > Hey Baby > It Began In Afrika > Sweet Baby > The Nobodies > Stop Your Crying > Serious > Smash Sumthin' > Batter Up Week 39 Can't Get You Out Of My Head > Smooth Criminal > F.E.A.R. > The Pain Inside > Papua New Guinea 2001 > Side (not as good as 'Sing' but still good) > Muhammad Ali > Alcoholic > Urban Train > Luv Me Luv Me > Area Codes > Finally > Not Such An Innocent Girl

Top of the Flops: 2014
George just missed out at an unlucky 41 with 'Listen To The Man' which features Gandalf aka Sir Ian Mckellen'. Was another nice track from him. Surprised it didn't get a few weeks at least in the Top 40! ZS0WvzRVByg?si=EGqFcvHJYq_Vg4yX Follow up to 'Nasty'. Ended up at 114 and then a cover of The Housemartins 'Caravan Of Love' 15 places lower! Was her only good song released that year for me. xyVmCBF3gm8?si=23Q3xEkvMFyPeYGi
