Chart rewind to this week in... 2012
This week in 2006 My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade Razorlight- America Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin Bob Sinclar Ft Cutee B - Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now) P Diddy Ft Nicole Scherzinger - Come To Me Lil' Chris - Checkin It Out Beatfreakz - Superfreak The Killers - When You Were Young Justin Timberlake - Sexyback David Hasselhoff - Jump In My Car https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart/20061015/7501/ What a moment seeing MCR at the top of the chart that week *. Lol at Hoff sneaking a second week in the top 10. Not much of note for new entries (though that Meat Loaf track that'll enter the top 40 next week was great) this week but will have to check that Placebo track!

John ranks the #1s of 2004
'Mysterious Girl' is fun nostalgia I'd say. Cool to see it become a hit again really. 'Vertigo' is fine too but not classic U2 or anything for me. 'Radio' is okay but it's a shame 'Feel' from the previous era didn't get to #1 for Robbie imo. 'Yeah!' I don't mind but never been fussed on Usher that greatly.

Round 4: Year End Survivor #129
Sarah Whatmore for me now.
-
Round 7: Year End Survivor #128
Mousse T! Though it's close between them and Charlotte.

Jester’s rank of 1996 number 1s
The Fugees tracks are both great and Gina G's a Eurovision pop classic. 'Spaceman' is fine as well.

Indifferent to GA's cover of ISBY but I'd imagine it would hit very hard now in recent memory for obvious reasons. The Pretenders version is splendid though. Don't mind 'Thunderbirds' but it's not one I'd seek out if I wanted to listen to Busted lol. Lyrics aside I quite like 'Real To Me' and something possessed me to buy his album too though tbf the other singles were also solid enough so maybe that's why. Never been huge on 'All This Time' oops but it's funny seeing her name mentioned on here as a meme i guess.

10 Years of Dobago: A Reflection
K'vo Ne Chu' was another bop from you and gave 12 points to and in return you gave Genevieve 12 also!

'Dry Your Eyes' would probably be in my top 10. The best thing I've heard from The Streets! Not crazy on what else has dropped out since including 'These Words' which for some reason I've never been keen on much. Prefer 'Unwritten' for sure.

RESULTS | ANSWER SMASH | Quiz Season Week 3
Gradually picked up the rule of the game properly on question 3 and fab to see that be a correct one too. In fairness wouldn't have got the first two anyway as didn't recognise the pictures of those artists or know an answer for question 2 (this will be a running theme for me throughout the quiz unforch).
