  1. Definitely Mel B this time. Far behind the other 4 for me.
  2. Liked Sandi's up to half way through but then nothing elevated much by the time it finished which was disappointing. Slash's admittedly isn't great either despite Fergie's solid vocal but it'll get the vote.
  3. Blink 182 to win.

Last months stats! 27/4/25: 210 posts, 4th 4/5/25: 188 posts, 3rd 11/5/25: 149 posts, 6th 18/5/25: 148 posts, 5th Only a one post decrease this week but still managing to climb back into the top 5 after slipping out last week!
  5. Joss for me but I'm not crazy on either.
  6. Technically it would be FOB but they'd be a wasted vote for the time being so my next worst choice is Ordinary Boys. Their weakest single of the few I've heard by them! 50 Cent or Abs can go too though.
  7. Not fussed that Eminem went but still T2!
  8. Fifth Harmony's is alright but gone for the Finalists on this one.
  9. Week 41 'Down Boy' is good enough but it's not one I was ever really massive on. 'Bunsen Burner' is quirky to say the least. 'My Vision' is lush and Seal sounds great on vocals and also find the LeAnn Rimes track to be fairly decent as well. 'Come Back Around' is a nice track and tribute to their drummer and another top song from No Doubt. 3/3 this era for me. 'Formulae' is a interesting little discovery and 'Vanilla Radio' is sounding enjoyable indeed.
  10. Voting Scooter but do quite like 'Cupid's Chokehold' too.
  11. 97 a little bit having some awareness of a countdown show in the car but still wasn't really clued up an awful lot. Top Of The Pops was when I really became accustomed to the movements and songs coming into 98. I fell off following much of what was happening in the charts from 03-05 and then came back in 06 listening every week for many years after and begun writing the charts down and reading the mids etc online and on radio 1 website.
  12. DJ Sammy and not even checking Otzi's lmao!
  13. Heading to 2005 where Australian pop sisters The Veronicas first album was released, The Secret Life Of... the first track is '4ever' which was eventually the follow up to 'Untouched' in 2009. 'Untouched' comes off the second album Hook Me Up but I'm gonna include it in the listenthrough which we can do next week (as most will be focused on Eurovision this week). Have only listened to their 2014 album so it'll be a good excuse to check this one out. What are your main faves to those who have listened to and loved the album already. You can as always drop a review also.
  14. Moving to Basement Jaxx this time. Rather glad to see 'America' do much better this time round too!
  15. Also Ronan!
  16. Gone for Regina as well.
  17. Week 38 Solid effort from Liberty X again although nothing groundbreaking. A fan of 'Nessaja' too. Didn't recall 'Walk On Water' much but that's sounding really nice. The Korn, N.O.R.E. and Death In Vegas tracks are quite good too. Agreed on that being Anastacia's weakest song from that era. Week 39 'Just Like A Pill' obviously brill and I like the Busted track but prefer the singles that followed. 'Everyday' is decent enough and the Eminem and Beenie Man songs are fine. 'Strange and Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You)' is really nice. 'She Hates Me' is a stomper and the video is iconic too for comical reasons and Disturbed's is superb rock as per usual. Don't think I heard that Supergrass track at the time and it sounds a little familiar but it's okay. Week 40 'Little By Little' a fantastic track and up there with their absolute best whilst the the other song is alright but nothing special and the same goes for the Will and Gareth collab which is not for me but Gareth's Elvis cover is quite fun. 'Complicated' is a brilliant introduction for Avril but not my fave from the debut era. Both the Datsuns and Strokes hits are really good. Eve and Alicia is decent. Not heard the 'Silver Screen (Shower Scene)' before but it's sounding cool and has a hypnotic touch to it

+5 Pink Pony Club +4 Sports Car +3 Azizam +2 Love Me Not +1 Anxiety -1 Undressed -2 Steve's Lava Chicken -3 Beautiful Things -4 Show Me Love -5 Ordinary
  19. Being Nobody
  20. 'Heartbroken'
  21. Gorillaz to win. Especially for the soulchild remix <3
  22. Beverley Knight.
  23. I Want You Back for me. Only one I don't care for much, prefer other Mel singles over it too. 'Bag It Up' is a guilty pleasure and always found 'Lift Me Up' sweet too.
  24. Sad Will didn't make the top 3 here with such a lovely track. Michael Grey as voting the Sats is a wasted vote really lol.
