  1. Gone for The Enemy. Don't mind it but prefer 'Had Enough' and 'No Time For Tears' to that and like the others there.
  2. UK Top 10 this week in 2008 1 X Factor Finalists - Hero 2 T.I. Ft Rihanna - Live Your Life 3 Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy 4 The Killers - Human 5 Alesha Dixon - The Boy Does Nothing 6 Girls Aloud - The Promize 7 Katy Perry - Hot N Cold 8 Britney Spears - Womanizer 9 Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008 10 Leona Lewis - Forgive Me New to top 40 14 Lemar - If She Knew 22 Duffy - Rain On Your Parade 26 Nickelback - Gotta Be Somebody 27 Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy 40 Pudseys Beautiful Dreamers - We Have A Dream Also worth noting that The Bellamy Brothers 'Let Your Love Flow' had been making an chart return around this time and was up two places to 28 from 30 the week before. Due to a Barclays ad! https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart/20081116/7501/
  3. Anastacia from these two by a clear margin but Bob's is fun for novelty sakes as a child.
  4. Was a funny old time hearing 'Chocolate Salty Balls' in the chart even as a 6 year old then. 'Mr Hankey..' is ridiculous too and can't hate that either lol.
  5. 'Ameno' <3 actually don't listen to it as much as I should but when I do, in whichever version it sounds incredible.
  6. Also a fair placing there. Not keen on either of those covers and the original 'Under The Bridge' deserved a much better peak too.
  7. For me I'd have the Billie songs swapped over. Checking 'Girlfriend' now again and isn't particularly good whereas 'Because We Want To' is more fun at least. Couldn't recall that Oasis song and listening to it I can see why oops.
  8. I'm a fan of both of these but All Saints gets the vote as it's wonderful.
  9. Well done Rich on another contest win again this week *.* Thanks for hosting Addy!
  10. Thank you to the voters so far but not unexpected to see myself last oops. A quirky bop though and I do have their hit on CD lol. 'Sandcastle Disco' was one I considered for this too but felt Solange had already been sent too recently so decided against. Happy to see my top 2 doing very well.
  11. Sonique's is one of my personal all time fave dance tracks so that for me but 'Freestyler' is a tune too.
  12. That's a good top 5 currently!
  13. Cool of you to have met VV herbs. Great entry that.
  14. Going as expected so far lol.
  15. Not an amazing chart topper from them that so agreed again.
  16. Hype. I won't be doing anywhere near as well as I did last time (in fact the total opposite) but that's ok lol.
  17. Big fan of 'Don't Cha' and 'Push The Button'. The latter is another highlight for Sugababes especially. 'Jailhouse Rock' is great fun too and like others a standout from Elvis despite not being much a fan. Eminem's version of 'Like Toy Soldiers' is ok but give me the original anyday. 'Ghetto Gospel' is a strong track and 'The Importance of Being Idle' completes the best 3 Oasis songs of the 00's for me with 'Little By Little' and 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'!
  18. Totally don't recall either of those bottom 2 placers at the time and even now they aren't noteworthy so would agree with your placings so far Rich!
  19. Really strong pick for #1 there. Shame 'Bittersweet.." didn't also get to the top mind. 'You're Not Alone', 'Don't Speak' and 'Who Do You Think You Are' are highlights for me from the rest of the top 10. Thanks for running this Jester. My top 5 would be 1 Aqua 2 Hanson 3 No Doubt 4 The Verve 5 Spice Girls (WDYTYA)
  20. Pumped to witness a Rontvia hosted contest for the first time *.* also thrilled at my 18 from Hushkanukia coming top 3 as well. Such a strong pop track that was! Shame Zanmatony is so low down though after the initial hype in the odds thread but glad my vote helped you to a unique final postion so some good to make up for that.
  21. Oof down to me then I think ;o
  22. Omg Sovarasma RISING now. Pleased to see x
