111 1st - 20/29 Votes (68%) The Killers take the win here with 'Somebody Told Me' on 20 of 29 votes... it's the 2nd single from Hot Fuss which is about meeting someone at a club. It was released in 2004 and charted at #28 before being re-issued the following year and handing the band their first top 3 hit in the process. It's been nominated for two Grammy's as well as for the International Dance Music Awards. It was ranked 4th best track of 04 by Triple J. "The video has the band performing their song in the moonlight of a desert location, with a giant LED screen displaying scrolling characters and flashing images of their logo. The imagery in the video pays homage to that of "Crystal" by English alternative dance group New Order; the Killers named themselves after the fictitious band performing in the New Order video" 2nd - 9/29 Votes (31%) The sister of Daniel, Natasha Bedingfield lands 2nd with 'Unwritten' which charted at 6 in 2004 and then last year saw a chart revival thanks to inclusion in the film Anyone But You. The song was the theme to the MTV reality series The Hills and Natasha performed the track at the 2007 Concert For Diana. It's been featured in episodes of others shows like Ugly Betty and Pretty Little Liars and was part of the UEFA Euro 2004 montage clips which saw England lose to Portugal. 3rd: Madonna - Don’t Tell Me 20/31 votes (65%) 4th: Flip & Fill - Shooting Star 18/32 votes (56%) 5th: Alesha Dixon - The Boy Does Nothing 13/33 votes (39%) 6th: Sean Paul - Temperature 14/31 votes (45%) 7th: Feist - 1234 10/32 votes (31%) 8th: Cascada - What Hurts The Most 12/34 votes (35%) 9th: Nickelback - Someday 10/30 votes (33%) 10th: Westlife - What Makes A Man 21/33 votes (64%)

Week 27 & 28 'By The Way' a strong return for the Chili's but I think I did prefer a couple of others over it from this era. Was great listening to the album a couple of years ago in this forum too. 'Just A Little Girl' is a pop rock classic for me too and the album was also rather good as well. 'I'm Gonna Be Alright' is great as well in the version radio pushed. 'Wherever You Will Go' is a great MOR rock song and have some added association with it via college. 'American English' is pleasant as is 'Tell It To My Heart'. 'Clubbed To Death' is really strong so a good choice for top song. 'The Day It Rained Forever' is nice enough. Enjoying the production for The Prodigy also, less keen on the lyrics as stated by others. 'Rip' is really intense but in a positive way and 'Shakalaka Baby' sounds like Eurovision mixed with Holly Valance's material lol. On the messy side for me though unforch.

Week 26 The first three hits here are the best for me by far. 'Stop Crying Your Heart', 'When You Look At Me' and 'Hot In Herre' were all brilliant in their own ways and Mis-teeq's is fine but yeah one of their weakest for sure. 'Get Free' sounds solid too and am sure I've heard it before as it sounds familiar. The Athlete track is quite good as well.

Sub-2 minute hits of the 21st century POLL
Haven't heard some of these on the list (including the Jack Black song yet) but voting for Charli and Liam Lynch.

Which of the Pirates Of The Caribbean Films is your favourite?
Black Pearl for me with Dead Man's Chest being next, basically 1 & 2 are the best.

#110 1st = 21/36 Votes (58%) British Electronic group Hot Chip were ready to sweep the win here as their 2008 #6 hit 'Ready For The Floor' beats out the megastar Lady Gaga. The lyric 'You're My Number One Guy' comes from the influence of it being said in the first Tim Burton remake of the Batman movie and Alexis Taylor can be seen in the video alternating between a mild mannered tech wiz and The Joker. Some articles falsely claimed that Hot Chip were going to give Kylie Minogue this song but this was dismissed as they hadn't got in contact with Kylie to work on anything although they did say they'd consider handing her this track if it was to happen as it sounded the most suitable. 2nd = 15/36 Votes (41%) and the aforementioned Lady Gaga is runner up with 'LoveGame', the fourth release in the UK from The Fame which peaked at 19. Lyrically about a sexual attraction to a stranger in a club. For the music video it takes on the inspiration of the video for Michael Jackson's 'Bad' with Gaga donning Nazi Chic clothes. It was banned at the PG rated time slots on the music channels in Australia because of it's sexual content. 3rd: Kanye West & Jamie Foxx - Gold Digger 16/33 votes (48%) 4th: Max Graham VS Yes - Owner Of A Lonely Heart 14/32 votes (44%) 5th: Pink - Trouble 12/32 votes (38%) 6th: Ms Dynamite - It Takes More 16/33 votes (48%) 7th: The Manic Street Preachers - The Masses Against The Classes 9/33 votes (27%) 8th: BBMak - Back Here 20/30 votes (67%) 9th: Blue - Curtain Falls 15/32 votes (47%) 10th: Natasha Bedingfield - I Wanna Have Your Babies 15/31 votes (48%)

Song Covers SoundClash #30
Seems a little unexpected for me to vote against Cascada but the 'Truly Madly Deeply' cover wasn't great especially coming off the back of 'Everytime We Touch'. The Discotronic cover does work quite well however so that gets my vote.

Week 24 & 25 'Blurry' is a top notch anthem. Moony and Pafferndorf tracks are enjoyable enough as is 'Everyday'. No Doubt were on top form in 02, 'Hella Good' another good track from them. 'Set It Off' is very repetitive and tacky but is a kinda vibe. 'Jump On Demand' has a good beat and gritty production but the vocals falls a little flat even for that style of track for me. 'A Little Less Conversation' is a tune but not sure I'd regard as an ultimate fave of mine however 'Love At First Sight' is up there for me for Kylie songs, such a feel good pop classic and the fitness themed video is great too. 'Get Over You' another enjoyable release from Sophie with 'Move This Mountain' being solid but not a fave necessarily. Liked 'Hero' and 'Loves Me Not' is ok. 'The Logical Song' is an utter jam imo and I do like the original too. Starchasers also pretty good and the Paul Oakenfold tracks are fine enough. Prefer that Badly Drawn Boy song to the other one from About A Boy personally.

WWE Buzzchat 3
Am gonna post my predictions now instead of at the last couple of days.. My Night 1 winners New Day Rey Mysterio Jade Cargill LA Knight (through some shenanigans that costs Jacob) Charlotte Flair (want Tiffany to though) Jey Uso CM Punk Night 2 Liv and Raquel Logan Paul (AJ deserves a win on a mania again though but can't see it being against Logan sadly) Dominik Mysterio Drew Mcintyre Not sure on who wins out of Iyo or Bianca, would prefer and also want Iyo to get the win as she lost her title match last year too and Rhea and Bianca will be so caught up with one another. John Cena Randy Orton wins his match which is most certainly going to be against Solo Sikoa. Also think some screwy finish could go down between the tag titles on SD on Friday which leads to the inevitable mutli tag person match but am Predicting Street Profits wins anyway.

Week 20 Not much standing out here for me here. I'm in the minority it would seem but I find the Ronan cover rather nice and the same goes for Bellefire. Was something for them to score two back to back #18 peak hits off the bat too. Lost Witness track is sounding okay and 'P.O.D.'s Is pretty good too. Week 21 'Just A Little', 'Escape' and 'Don't Let Me Get Me' are all strong and 'Come Back' a really well sung ballad from Jessica, to think this would be the last time we'd sniff the top 3 in 20 years.. 'Ich Will' is also quite good, my sister is a major fan of Rammstein so have heard their music aplenty. Week 22 'Without Me' is a fun Eminem song but of course the strongest one is to come near the end of the year. 'It's OK' is probably in my top 3 AK tracks, a really nice and melodic pop bop. Don't hate 'Bop Bop Baby', quite catchy in fact but also extremely naff too. 'Here To Stay' is a riot. 'Spread Your Love' is quite good too but the DJ Shadow song takes it for best song I hadn't heard of before. Week 23 'Light My Fire' is a fine enough cover but Will's better stuff is to come. Not a Football fan but can't deny 'We're On The Ball' is a bit of goofy fun. My dad bought the Ozzy track (and the album too iirc) so it was spammed in the car a lot lol. 'Dreamer' is rather plodding though despite the nice production and deep lyrics. 'Gets Me Through' is defo the best track of the two, the bouncing riff is pretty good although his vocals can admittedly be unsettling. 'Punk' is a pretty good instrumental dance track and Oribtal's two songs here are decent too.

Round 1: Year End Survivor #113
Am also going for 'Tell Me' first but there's two others I don't overly care for here either.

Round 7: Year End Survivor #112
Also J Lo for me but it's good.
