#113 1st 18/30 Votes The champs for 113 are Gorillaz with their second single '19/2000' also going under 'Get The Cool Shoeshine' from the bands debut album which is self titled as Gorillaz. It charted at 6 in June 2001. The song features Talking Heads sole female member, bassist Tina Weymouth on vocals. Radio stations were rotating between using the standard version and the soulchild remix which was used in adverts. I've tagged a video using both versions one after the other fwiw! 2nd 12/30 Votes and appearing for a second time in a survivor and doing enough to make 113th best song of 2009 is The Saturdays with 'Up' which won the 71st edition in a close battle with Prodigy's 'Omen'. This time though it comes runner up!

Pretty difficult now as these 3 are all great.

Week 42 & 43 'The Ketchup Song' is infectious, like the S Club, Foo's, Coral and Richard Ashcroft tracks. The Vines song is a decent but it's not the best of discovery as the Lemon Jelly one was an great experience of a listen. Some cool components going on. 'Nu Flow' is a certified Rnb bop. Still sick of hearing 'Dilemma' Not as massive on that Samantha Mumba one but shame she dropped off the face of the earth after that suddenly. Manics, Faith's and Badly Drawn Boy's are just ok for me.

Just as heads up for anyone interested that we're doing the listen through for this on Tuesday as not sure on which day BJSC but it leaves that open if it happens Monday ^_^

Florence from those already mentioned. Patrick Stump's vocals grate on me in doses too but then again it hasn't stopped me liking the Gym Class features I guess.

Easily Lily for me now. Wasn't mad on that one at the time but have had Now 65 on in the car the other day and it does sound better tbh.

Liked Sandi's up to half way through but then nothing elevated much by the time it finished which was disappointing. Slash's admittedly isn't great either despite Fergie's solid vocal but it'll get the vote.

Technically it would be FOB but they'd be a wasted vote for the time being so my next worst choice is Ordinary Boys. Their weakest single of the few I've heard by them! 50 Cent or Abs can go too though.
