  1. Looks like As It Was is increasing this week (based on wednesday comparisons) so likely to be reset. Also Green Green Grass (while Afraid to Feel is declining)...

Looks like As It Was and Green Green Grass have increased compared with last wednesday, so likely that they both will be reset.....; though this may be due their being less data missing this time so they may still show a decline by week's end....

You say digital sales are obviously non-existent but they are currently 21.3% of Beyonce's total (which will of course decline) so not non-existent. Low yes, but not non-existent. They can still make a difference....
  4. Thanks for confirming that 'jimwatts', that was my feeling too (about the lack of weighting), so I'm glad to have it confirmed. I seem to remember that around Xmas '19 (i think it was) they had Wham at no.1 on both the streaming charts with a streaming overall record (21 million wasn't it), while Mariah Carey was actually higher overall (after weighting), so i did think that was the case..
  5. Since Kate was on 24,437 (adjusted) while LF System is on 48,932, I would say there's no way she is really no.1. Since LF's downloads were 3,029 (and no.1 in real sales), their streams were 45,903. Kate is at 3 in real sales. So if she sold ~2,000, then her real streams would be ~44,874. The big question is, does the streaming chart and audio streaming reflect chart-equivalent streams or actual streams? If the former, then for Kate to be no.1 in streams, her real sales must be around (or less) 1,437 (giving real streams of 46,000 and total of around 47,437). If that is the case, then real sales made the difference this time.....

Either the market's crashing or there's a lot more data missing than normal from the singles chart as everyone's totals have taken a dive (LF by nearly 10,000!)
  7. As with the Global Chart they exclude D2C sales and only include 'full-service digital music retailers'.

Well I think Apple and Spotify list total streams rather than chart streams and the first look is very real sales heavy. There's two possible reasons..... (as well as Amazon of course).

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Blinding LIghts had done the top 10 too (or possibly even Descapito). Every position in the top 22 is pretty mpressive, though of course only possible with streaming slowing declines down so much! I wonder about on the actual sales chart, that may be a better comparison for pre-streaming.....

oh poo! Well it'd have been a 'fake' record anyway. I believe that Bad Habits has actually done it on a non-ACR chart (according to JulianT's thread anyway). Wouldn't be surprised if other records have done it since 2017 either; difficult to know for sure.
  11. Good to know that Metallica didn't go the same way as Kate Bush and fall to DCL-1 on the week of the reset (though of course it was done a week earlier....). Its sales were very close to the previous weeks.

Metallica only jumped because of the reset. Sales were similar or may even have decreased compared to the previous week
  13. Whoops you're right, onviously he was talking about Dandelion and not Running Up That Hill. Oh well.
  14. Kate Bush was the top 15 exception that didn't increase. She is still the biggest seller, but has been ACR the last 2 weeks - though probably won't be next week as she was only around 1,000 ahead this week. JoJo also decreased but is less than 6 weeks old (as are any decliners this week not already mentioned in the top 40).
  15. Well basically almost everything in the top 40 increased this week so everything is on either SCR or ACR. No changes in the top 40 except for possibly Metallica as their sales this week are very close to their real sales last week so they might actually have decreased and so be on DCL-1. Also Flowers and Happier Than Ever are probably on DCL-2. I believe all the songs that went to ACR last week (Go, Peru, 2Step, Spaceman, Je M'appelle, She's All I Wanna Be, Anyone for you (Tiger Lily)) actually increased this week, not that much of a surprise as the streaming market increased by 4.8%. Dandelions also increased (overall according to MW) so could have another 3 weeks in the top 75... edited to add songs that went to ACR last week who increased this week
  16. IN fact the whole top 15 (except Kate) increased this week thus resetting any ticking clocks........
  17. The sales data confirms that Harry has reset again (47,932 this week vs. 46,242 last week).
  18. Well of course that's because of ACR for Bad Habits. Without ACR it was no.1 for 13 weeks. Harry has managed to avoid ACR/reset the decline 3 times i think and possibly has reset it again......
  19. midweek data suggested an increase......!
  20. While I don't want it to drop so quickly I do agree with it reaching those positions too to set another chart record - even if it did take 3 separate chart runs to do it!.

The whole top 5 increased this week compared to the same time last week, so I wonder whether this is a real increase or just more data available.... I guess we'll get a better idea on Wednesday..

and actually decreased the week before (which i was surprised at!).
  23. We're used to it. It happened 5 weeks ago too....! This is Kate's 5th week as the biggest seller.
  24. Since LF Systems was no.1 in real sales this week and it had overtaken Harry, this suggests that the streaming ratio may be smaller than the OCC uses....(or perhaps they only use the free ratio (1:100)?

So based on the MW quote, looks like Kate is really on around 40,000 (assuming 3,000 real sales), so a slight increase over last week (though of course not 25% - not that that matters anyway as it is over 3 years old).
