Rêve - Devour 17 - entered three times previously, in CLXI (13th), CXLII (5th) and CLXVI (4th). 5+12 - appears in 2 personal charts (Uhsting and RobBot). - was discussed in Colm's Spolidifestivalen thread as his potential, with several members commenting that they thought it may be a veto, alongside Leww posting "I confirmed a song and I did not send Reve - Devour" in the confirmations thread, would indicate a decent level of being known amongst BJSC members. Brutalismus 3000 and Boys Noize - I Bring My Gun To The Function 25 - Brutalismus 3000 came 9th in BJSC 155 3+7 - Boys Noize came 24th in BJSC 113, 12th in BJSC 140, 5th in BJSC 147, 31st in BJSC 159 and won Buzzfestivalen 2025 3+12 - low to mid level blog coverage - previously vetoed in BJSC 185.

Guys chill out please 😭 I'm only aware of one very long song being entered so far and while the rest will of course be fully randomised, I'm minded to put it at the end of the running order of whichever semi it's allocated to for the purposes of the listenthrough. I believe that's what's been done before. We've had an 11 minute winner before. I don't think any participant known for entering long songs really does so consistently. I think how well they do and indeed whether they are entered at all is really judged on the merit of the song rather than on the length in its own rite. I'm perhaps a bit biased this time because I know and love the long song that you will find out about on Thursday evening (hopefully). The only qualms I have about long songs are ones that are made up of entirely separate sections that are so disparate that they aren't really cohesive, at which point it may as well be an album or a mixtape, but I can't even think of an example here. And you have wonderful long songs that are the opposite of that like Sufjan's Impossible Soul which has lots of varied sections while bringing back so many recurring elements in a way that could only work as a long song.

Well I have ignored the mantra of my own contest because my entry is a bop that's far too short at 3:12, although I'm looking at a different bop by the same artist that's a bit closer to the recommended 5:30.

The triple confirmation was the same artist! You entered a different song and the other two confirmations were the same song. The double confirmation (now resolved) was the same artist but two different songs. That's all I can say I believe!

Well it looks like one artist has been entered thrice and another twice. The one that has been entered thrice has the same timestamp down to the exact second so not even sure what to do there!
