  1. Bit of a mean thing to predict I know, but in the absence of any speculation in this thread about anything I feel like the last song to get lifted off 0 points could have been #18?
  2. I voted for all of the top 3! I'd be delighted for any of them but rooting for Altyr the most. Also they were in contention for my 18 so I will be kicking myself if they somehow miss out due to that.

Aw crap, not wanting to see any of those three entries penalised.

Well I thought the quality was amazing this month - I could easily have given any of my top 5 18 points. In fact I'm still deliberating to the point that I might just have to random.org it.

A Thousand Mad Things and White Lies (both FARC entries!) MUST share the same vocalist as they sound identical but other than both being from London, nothing is telling me that they do.

    I just might
  7. Aelandor just missed out on my votes after quite a lot of last minute switching around - just relieved that my votes were not the difference!
  8. Zanmatory and Wholune pls
  9. Gotta be a 10 minute+ track for March
  10. Lol not completely surprised at finishing last. Thanks to Chris for providing over 90% of the points.

Ok but just you and Bré vocally agreeing with me pls because further agreement will make Lentyll lose any pretensions to being a dark horse

    Lentyll dark horse pls

There is lots of good pop in SF1 too! Voted xo

    SF1 has a major mid-semi glow up

I really think I needed Eledan and maybe like Trifoski to have a hope of qualifying. Happy to send a bit of a throwback wildcard anyway.

One hurdle is the electorate wanting to tactically vote (and whether that could ever include a Labour party who have given the UK one of the least popular prime ministers ever), and then another is the electorate knowing how to tactically vote in their constituency. Really not easy.
  17. Sent my shortest entry since 2010 I think (the song itself is also from that year).
  18. Most of my BJSC entries are already pretty UP-friendly so I went for a real deep cut in an effort to live up to the spirit of the contest in the hope that it can be distinct from my usual BJSC fodder. I know our entries remain anonymous so I'm trying to be vague here!
  19. Congrats on the first win! The top 10 is very strong and it feels like it has plenty of names that don't usually make the top 10. I mean the only nation finishing top 10 that was in 2025's EOY top 10 this contest was Fljotavik. Is that a calculable statistic??? Thanks for the votes for Octo Octa, the only metric by which that is a disappointing result by her is the fact that she did surprisingly well last February. I think on paper that track was a bit too niche to do must better than 34th but I do love it! Also very glad to have qualified at all as there was quite a big semi to final drop-off so it might not have been so lucky in the other semi.
  20. Aeroche Klum in the bottom 10 is crazy
  21. I'm happy with a pop winner anyway if it's Hushkanukia.
  22. Cumulonimbia, Zephyra, Deandria, Kluminican Republic and myself all way too low. There are SOME alt-ish entries doing very well though so presuming that there are a disproportionate number of alt votes left in the pool* then Sovarasma and Eledan could climb even higher?? *We could also have 5 tracks just undeservedly flopping.
  23. Voted! I wasn't wildly excited about the final but it ended up being excellent!
  24. Reform really nominated someone of Luke Akehurst levels of likeability lmfao.
  25. Re: ballads, I would count Father John Misty's Screamland as an indie ballad and that won. Also this was amazing. But yeah I vote for them fairly rarely.
