Harve

Two of my entries also had the same fate: Phoenix's 1901 DNQ'd before it got particularly big and Inspector Norse DNQ'd when it rly did end up seeming like the earworm of 2012-14. Idk what they did in terms of charts but they ended up feeling ubiquitous for a long time.

Can't believe Blanck Mass escaped the veto so I'm trying Abracadabra this time

Hang on. I'm barely paying attention to the news at the moment so the tariffs have been much better covered by other posters, but the one thing I've noticed since November 5th is Trump's second term is the most expansionist US administration in decades??? From the Panama canal, the Gulf of America, Greenland and Canada being a 51st state. Not to mention Trump's recent threats to 'blow Iran to smithereens' (which very much is a continuation of Iran nuclear deal withdrawal, the Soleimani assassination, and the subsequent diplomatic crisis from the 1st administration), having Netenyahu 'finish the job' in Palestine etc. I don't see how this adds up to an anti-war instinct.

In that case congrats Cody! I'm just delighted to have 5 from Rob which are some of the more surprising points I've had tonight.

Tie?!

Having a 5 point lead into Hendinia votes is very very fragile indeed. But any of the top 3 would be a fine winner! I'm gonna guess Cor Lupus got the 7+ points required from Hendinia but could easily be Fljotavik too.

Quick maths says those last two votes moves the top 3 extremely close together!

Unsurprisingly, me too!! I'm sure it'd be Blanck Mass's last hurrah but I can justify it by it being a rather overlooked release and Dandy says that he'd never heard it. I'm glad that the song is a discovery for some even if the artist has a track record here! I've not won for 12 years but I'm trying not to think about that. 7th or something would already be amazing. The final/SF1 was very high quality so there's good stuff all over the table but praying for a boost to Rontvia, Scotland 2 and Spodic.

Sry for delay caught up in landslide. That was an amazing SF2 -> Final glow up! Dance is king this month for sure.

Same we're all good (Alpine landslide has been trying to disrupt proceedings x)

Eek Terra was a coinflip for getting a couple of points from me so I rly wonder who the last qualifiers were of the semi! But I did get a full house so can't complain! My entry is sfg. I know Blanck Mass/f*** Buttons has done decently well went entered previously but this latest track of his seems to have been weirdly overlooked online and has this cool new poppy direction while still being identifiably the artist we know and love.

Idk how I managed to vote but I have

Oh voting will be challenge it has been a WEEK. My only hope is that tomorrow night is easy.

From memory, this will be my first entry to feature screaming x

BJSC 163 is what I remember the least (except Deep Blue Sea which is fab) and that is also the month of my year that I remember the least as it was a bit wild x Silver medals notably weaker than winners and also bronze medalists I think.

That random 2nd EOY I had looks more and more out of place as time goes by. But I'm just fine with 26th. Very very cool with this winner despite it just missing out on points from me. In fact the whole of the top 10 is pretty sweet.

Oops I missed this. Sad that I missed out on a tiebreak on being the best placed entry featuring a spoken word sample of Winona Ryder from the 90s. Which surprisingly there are multiple instances of thanks to this Cumulonimbia classic. 1gq8332ERiE

My votes (and entry) this month (does tweet embed not work anymore since it turned to X) Also extremely strong contest this month! I didn't expect the other semi to push out my semi so much.

Over 11 years for me. It would help (in general and not just for winning) if I discovered music FOR bjsc rather than FROM bjsc so that's why we are where we are.

1 12 🐸 Dobago 🐸 Oliver Koletzki - Spiritual But Not Religious One of the more confident times about my own qualification chances so I'm glad that wasn't misplaced x

Voted uncharacteristically early after voting twice in the final hours or hour last contest. Lots that I wasn't enthralled by but the 10 I voted for were good.

Ok yes I changed before I'd even sent the google form.

Sent a witch house deep cut (liable to change maybe).

It was the rightward near-complete results drop of Loudoun County Virginia (wealthy DC suburbs) that suggested it might be time to start dooming.

I'm less sure.
