I think I go for a major nostalgia trip (for me) and enter a band I haven't thought about in like 7 years and what would be a big break from the usual Skall sound of late. Reached #14 on the UK album chart this summer somehow.
  2. I didn't vote for a whole lot in the top 10 (a rare Jadakissnia and Kathaldazia snub that hasn't hurt them!) but very happy with that winner and ty for hosting.
  3. Quite impressed that I managed to significantly improve on semi final performance where I barely scraped by despite getting 12 from Eledan (who didn't vote in the final) and 12 from Altyr (who went on to give me 0 in the final). So excluding those two oddities I actually took just 24 points from the semis into the final.
  4. I will post approximately 0-2 times but due to a surprise Friday evening where I'm not working I am here for this!
  5. Ah, sorry that it's hectic, but that's good - I will vote!
  6. Ah f*** I missed this.
  7. 12 Q 10 Q 8 08 • Dobago: Vladimir Dubyshkin - the rothschild party 7 Q 6 01 • Hinterlandia: Pretty Sick - Headliner 5 Q 4 Q 3 Q 2 Q 1 Q Sad for Dobago in particular!!
  8. Redemption. Hype to ur entry in return but I will be using the deadline extension to vote tomorrow.

And all but one of these victories, while also impressive, were from candidates who had already built up a profile as an MP while being in a political party, or benefited from the support of allied political parties (with them standing down) while nominally being independent. The independent victories really came out of nowhere. I don't have any fun facts other than Labour having 11/11 MPs in Derbyshire. If you had told me that in 2019 I would have expected an even stronger landslide than what actually happened.
  10. Brown sold the gold.
  11. I've sent an emotionally stimulating, reasonably well known electronica-classical song. The artist has been sent before and also as a producer of one of the best tracks of the decade so far but this one sounds very different to both of those, as well as the new material currently being released, so not too ashamed of recycling. That's enough description I think.
  12. Imagine if the first result declared at 11:30pm was, like, Ilford North or Leicester South.
  13. Labour have no business gaining Lichfield, which is really on the upper end of their expectations, on the same day that they lose Leicester South wtf
  14. It's wild how consistent the Labour voteshares have become across the North East, which is the most complete region declared so far. Newly gained Hexham, Tory for 100 years, gets a marginally higher voteshare than Newcastle Central and their other safe seats - everywhere is between 39% and 51% for Labour.
  15. Biggest Tory majority and vote share so far is North East Cambridgeshire (deep in the fens). 41% and a 7,000 vote majority which is an overperformance for them, underperformance for Labour. This might just end up as the biggest Tory majority and/or voteshare.
  16. Don't support Corbyn to the letter of what he says but certainly support the spirit of the message that sends to Labour. I would have voted for him in that constituency I think.
  17. OOPS yes thankyou. The poll I saw on Sky said 23 Others which must have included Plaid. 1 Speaker, 3-4 Plaid, 0-1 Corbyn is the normal result.
  18. The Exit poll has 'Other' candidates winning 5 seats in Great Britain. One is the speaker, and then you have Corbyn and Galloway as obvious ones. Unsure who the other two could be.
  19. That Sunderland Reform vote is... very big.
  20. I think Tories just about hold the constituency I grew up in (Derbyshire Dales) and the one I voted in in Staffordshire as these are very much seats that are just outside the 100 safest Tory seats in Britain. The former is much less Reform-curious than the latter so we will see how exactly the vote is distributed.
  21. The high reform seats (in Tory areas) and high other seats (in previous Labour safe seats) suggests a very divided vote. I think the recent Labour polling falls in the last couple of days may have come to pass but we will see!
  22. This looks like a really low vote % way for Labour to get 400+ seats.
  23. 13 reform seats and 5 GB 'other' seats?!

It's now Labour's 315th target: if they win it by just a single vote then the Tories are unlikely to win even 100 seats.
  25. Congrats Rob, great winner! I was quietly confident on something like 13th place for myself so pleased that came into fruition.
