I've had all my votes qualify before but I think this is the first Time it has been perfect in that my own entry is also through. Hell yeah.

It probably isn't that consequential on an aggregate level but what happens in each country will tell us various things about their national politics. That the BBC article asks whether Belgium will still be a country is a little hyperbolic.

It might come to have a bit more definition in the future, which I'd say has also happened to the 90s and the 00s. Don't forget various trends of dance music in the early-mid 10s which I feel like belongs to a very limited period of time: Disclosure's first album, the 'Majestic Casual' sound, Maya Jane Coles & co's deep house being everywhere.

I was deliberating because a Tory wipeout would be soooo funny and it would be cool to be part of that but I just can't vote for a party which bars Diane Abbott while welcoming Rosie Duffield or Natalie Elphicke.

205 Conservatives 395 Labour 10 SNP 35 Liberal Democrat 3 Plaid 0 Reform 2 Green 8 Sinn Fein 7 DUP 2 SDLP 2 Alliance Something like that but I have not looked at current projections in detail where it would be easy to look at the number of realistic targets for the smaller parties. I think the SNP could look very shaky indeed in any Labour or Lib Dem-facing seat and face a much stickier Scottish Tory vote so it could be very volatile. Fun fact: the Tory vs. Labour swing in Scotland has gone the opposite way in Scotland compared to England in the last four Westminster elections: swing to Labour in 2010 (!), hugely against Labour in 2015, against Labour in 2017, against Labour in 2019. It looks like it will be in sync this time. Where are these DUP losses happening?

There's a clear geographical pattern to the Israeli televote with almost every Western European country giving Israël 12 Not a single Eastern European country gave them a 12. I don't have hard data to back this up but I imagine it's due to Eastern fash still having lingering anti-semitism which is no longer mainstream amongst conservatives here.

The winner being Enby won't go down well at all with anybody attracted to that televote campaign. Small wins. Unfortunately this year will always be remembered first and foremost for its controversy rather than the quality that has been there.

This is most likely going to be an incredible top 3.
