  1. 12 Q 10 Q 8 Q 7 08 | Scotland 2 • Dijon • Yamaha | 6 Q 5 24 | Lookylion • Goddess • Sexual | 4 Q 3 Q 2 Q 1 Q Feels like this is about as bad as it gets in terms of losing my favs in recent months. I guess the smaller number of DNQs is to thank for that.
  2. You are welcome.
  3. Unless Pav fails to vote in which case: lowkey deserved.
  4. Nicolas Jaar cannot DNQ. SACRIFICE ME INSTEAD.
  5. My top 2 was the actual top 2, and I voted for 7/10 of the top 10 which is pretty incredible given that I couldn't vote for myself in 5th!! I really didn't expect that but I do have quite a good track record with spinoffs I feel. Thankyou to everyone who voted for The Embassy, and especially Rich for the top points, with a near Rontvia/Skall 12 swap. My points seemed to consist almost entirely of 5 points until I got a few medal positions after the last scoreboard I believe?
  6. Like the majority I'm definitely guilty of not sending schlager but I'd like to think that my Scandi-indie entry fits in spirit with its tweeness, and since it fits in the Service/Labrador/Sincerely Yours ecosystem (three Gothenburg/Malmo-based record labels that were big in the 00s and early 10s) it does sound distinctively Scandi to me.
  7. I regret leaving this so late as this was so much better than I expected/what the comments so far have indicated I think! I enjoyed the vast majority of the entries and really difficult to order my top 5.
  8. The closest we have to that kind of "country as a tribute act" relationship on actual earth is Belarus x Russia. Or perhaps Cyprus x Greece.
  9. Officially a Visitor now that I've reconfirmed what I initially confirmed last month. A fun and crowdpleasing bop I believe so hoping for a variety of voters.

Like many polls, a simple projection from this poll has the Tories on 20 seats, 19 of which are in London or Scotland. The only other one is Leicester East, a 68% Asían (mostly Hindu) seat that was their single pickup in 2024. It's obviously very dubious but it would be hilarious if the Tories' only non-London English seat was one that Labour won 67-24 in 2017.

Green on white OR white on green is such a good colour scheme
  12. If I am allowed to host again u can be assured of an injection of another dose of chaos if that's what you mean by one's own spin on the proceedings xx
  13. Thanks for hosting! I think I prefer the classic way of presenting the results but in hindsight I can see why it was done differently this time!
  14. Nelionoir not only sending a banger and deservedly smashing but also having an incredible top 6 in the votes.
  15. Danæviia top 7 also quite surprising I think?
  16. Could we please have a reveal of who is left in top 10?
  17. Honestly I am just happy to be here xx
  18. A little surprised at Altyr finishing that low. They were just outside my votes and there were certainly far worse pop tracks than that. Quietly confident on not being revealed IMMINENTLY because I somehow made it through a pretty horrendous semi draw - I think scraping through SF1 doesn't mean finishing in the last few spots in the final in this case. Not expecting miracles and await to be revealed in the somewhere in the 20s hopefully.
  19. The realpolitik (obviously) doesn't benefit the US at all but Trump-Putin is a values-based alignment.

Voted! Excellent quality final, mostly propped up by the semi I wasn't in. Unfortunately this has meant some oddities such as my 4th placed track in SF1 being outside my top 15 in the final, thus going from 7 points to 0 in the final...

Didn't realise until I started listening that 'YOU LOVE HER' is the same artist as You Love Her Coz She's Dead who I gave 12 points to when they were entered 16 whole years ago. Very Skins/Alice Glass era.
  22. Did they submit Dancing On My Own?
  23. 6 Scotland 2 2 Cheiron I cannot believe I made it!! Thankyou for all who voted for my favourite artist discovery of the year. If I dnq'd as expected then my plan was to send the exact same artist with this (sounds quite different tbf) in a tantrum/urge for BJ to answer correctly a second time. But that now won't be necessary so just sharing this here because it is a banger.
  24. Cor Lupus will defo get through. My entry had better defy the predictions or else.
  25. My entry is doing a 24hr live stream to promote his soon-to-be-released album which you could watch instead of listening to your semi 12 times if you would like. He's very handsome and talks about leftist politics a lot if that helps x
