  1. I've sent an emotionally stimulating, reasonably well known electronica-classical song. The artist has been sent before and also as a producer of one of the best tracks of the decade so far but this one sounds very different to both of those, as well as the new material currently being released, so not too ashamed of recycling. That's enough description I think.
  2. Imagine if the first result declared at 11:30pm was, like, Ilford North or Leicester South.
  3. Labour have no business gaining Lichfield, which is really on the upper end of their expectations, on the same day that they lose Leicester South wtf
  4. It's wild how consistent the Labour voteshares have become across the North East, which is the most complete region declared so far. Newly gained Hexham, Tory for 100 years, gets a marginally higher voteshare than Newcastle Central and their other safe seats - everywhere is between 39% and 51% for Labour.
  5. Biggest Tory majority and vote share so far is North East Cambridgeshire (deep in the fens). 41% and a 7,000 vote majority which is an overperformance for them, underperformance for Labour. This might just end up as the biggest Tory majority and/or voteshare.
  6. Don't support Corbyn to the letter of what he says but certainly support the spirit of the message that sends to Labour. I would have voted for him in that constituency I think.
  7. OOPS yes thankyou. The poll I saw on Sky said 23 Others which must have included Plaid. 1 Speaker, 3-4 Plaid, 0-1 Corbyn is the normal result.
  8. The Exit poll has 'Other' candidates winning 5 seats in Great Britain. One is the speaker, and then you have Corbyn and Galloway as obvious ones. Unsure who the other two could be.
  9. That Sunderland Reform vote is... very big.
  10. I think Tories just about hold the constituency I grew up in (Derbyshire Dales) and the one I voted in in Staffordshire as these are very much seats that are just outside the 100 safest Tory seats in Britain. The former is much less Reform-curious than the latter so we will see how exactly the vote is distributed.
  11. The high reform seats (in Tory areas) and high other seats (in previous Labour safe seats) suggests a very divided vote. I think the recent Labour polling falls in the last couple of days may have come to pass but we will see!
  12. This looks like a really low vote % way for Labour to get 400+ seats.
  13. 13 reform seats and 5 GB 'other' seats?!

It's now Labour's 315th target: if they win it by just a single vote then the Tories are unlikely to win even 100 seats.
  15. Congrats Rob, great winner! I was quietly confident on something like 13th place for myself so pleased that came into fruition.

With the UK having the most numerical movement in terms of MPs, alongside France having an election with more significant political + policy consequences the first week of July is gonna be wild.

  18. Make sure that ATC are aware that the smooth running of BJSC hinges on your flight x
  19. Votes are in! Tough one! Goodnight!
  20. I've had all my votes qualify before but I think this is the first Time it has been perfect in that my own entry is also through. Hell yeah.
  21. It probably isn't that consequential on an aggregate level but what happens in each country will tell us various things about their national politics. That the BBC article asks whether Belgium will still be a country is a little hyperbolic.

    Voted x
  23. It might come to have a bit more definition in the future, which I'd say has also happened to the 90s and the 00s. Don't forget various trends of dance music in the early-mid 10s which I feel like belongs to a very limited period of time: Disclosure's first album, the 'Majestic Casual' sound, Maya Jane Coles & co's deep house being everywhere.

I was deliberating because a Tory wipeout would be soooo funny and it would be cool to be part of that but I just can't vote for a party which bars Diane Abbott while welcoming Rosie Duffield or Natalie Elphicke.
