HAS she specifically said “album announcement coming next week”? I don’t remember her stating it at ALL. She’s commented saying she hopes an announcement will be made but I’m not sure shems ever said anything specific? (I could be wrong though) I really think her teasing things on Discord as C. Joel has said had given the fanbase to go on random conspiracy theories to try and determine stuff that isn’t there like they’re Swifties or something and then ended up getting disappointed when it wasn’t what they wanted/expected. Basically I’m not sure Jade has ever said anything specific about the album or an album announcement before. Maybe some comments hinting that she hopes it’s soon etc.. but that’s kinda it? Edit: I could be wrong ofc. But I’m not sure I’ve seen anything specific other than “insider info” and/or fan conspiracy theories.

I really don't know about a specific time tbh. I've always been interested in music from a young age, but I probably didn't know "charts" were a thing until I was like, 8 or something when Spice Girls started charting? Then I found out about TOTP etc... and it was pretty much from then on where I had an avid interest. I'd probably say 1999 was the earliest memory I have of starting to follow the charts on a weekly basis. Around the time Britney broke through. Then my dad would make me and my siblings video tapes of various live performances of artists/bands he knew we liked/would have an interest in from that era too. A few performances from Party In The Park 1999 (I remember The Corrs, STEPS and Geri from this), TOTP (specifically 'Sometimes'!) and various videos from MTV etc...

Also, I have merged because 'More To Lose' is an instant grat and not a single!

I agree that this is "a nice album track". I've not really gone back to it. Bar a couple of them, I can't say I'm *too* big on a Miley ballad and I don't know why as I am a big ballad guy! ('Angels Like You' and 'When I Look At You' being exceptions) They're always "nice" but that's about it to me. I think they end up being a bit too wordy or too cringe. 'End Of The World' is still SOOOOO good though and I am baffled how it's not taken off in such a huge way...

'I'm Every Woman' (although not an easy choice!) I love what Tinashe did with it and I've probably heard it more times than most other people on here so it's no surprise I'm the only one who has (so far) voted for it. I do love 'Being Nobody' though. EDIT: Also, not an attack or anything, just a personal preference, I'm not sure I'm a fan of discussing songs that aren't 10+ years old, in this part of the forum aha. But that's just me :P
