JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! • 1st Album
It’s not as simple as “just leave the label”. Just ask RAYE! I still believe it’s coming but it is annoying how they’re not announcing much yet. Her comments are literally bombarded with “WE WANT ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT PLZ!!” Kinda comments. RCA are so shit man. Ugh.

Chart Battle Rewind: The Shapeshifters vs Rachel Stevens
I'm actually not a big fan of either of them. Both of them kind of annoy me for different reasons

Chart Battle Rewind: Alexandra Burke vs Robbie Williams
Bad Boys. With considerable ease. What an almighty, grade A pop BANGER!

☁️ PFSC XVI: Dreamy Pop ☁️ Confirmations • deadline: Wednesday 16th April 2025, 23:59 BST
Not sure on what exactly IS "Dream pop" but I googled it and my artist came up as one so I had to go for them and I tried to pick a song that I felt would suit what I thought would be "dreamy pop". It's my favourite song by them too

SIX: The Musical • NOW IN CINEMAS
The musical phenomenon is now airing in cinemas! So if you haven't (yet) been able to see the stage show, get yourselves to your nearest cinema! Each Queen is "Queenspired" and influenced by various pop Queens! The songs are infectious r&b and pop infused musical theatre songs. I love the way they tell this story about the 6 wives of Henry VIII. Extremely empowering and uplifting. Can't recommend enough. The song 'Six' literally sounds like 'Shout Out To My Ex'/'Ugly Heart' with a musical theatre twist. SO DAMN GOOD! Catherine of Aragon Queenspiration: Beyoncé & Shakira Anne Boleyn Queenspiration: Lily Allen & Avril Lavigne Jane Seymour Queenspiration: Adele & Sia Anne of Cleves Queenspiration: Nicki Minaj & Rhianna Katherine Howard Queenspiration: Ariana Grande & Britney Spears Catherine Parr Queenspiration: Alicia Keys & Emeli Sandé

COMPETITION: Predict Worldwide Grosses.
LETS GET A COMPETITION UNDERWAY, SHALL WE? It's as simple as... Predicting the WORLDWIDE gross of movies for the year 2025. The cut off point will include the LAST WEEKEND OF 2025 W/C 26th December 2025, chart. Here's how I will be scoring: 3 points if you're in range (e.g. if you say 750m for a movie and it grosses anything from 751m-759m) 2 points if you're 50m off (either side - e.g. if you say 750m and it grosses anywhere from 700m-749m OR 760m-799m) 1 point if you're 100m off (either side - e.g. if you say 750m and it grosses anywhere from 650m-749m OR 760m-849m) HOWEVER if you get it BANG ON to the nearest million you get 5 POINTS (e.g. if you say 750m & it grosses 750,000,000-750,999,999) Does this make sense? Any questions feel free to either question it in here or drop me a PM! POST ALL ANSWERS IN THIS THREAD [EXCEPT THE TIE-BREAKER - PM ME THE TIE-BREAKER!] THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE A £20 GIFT CARD TO A CINEMA CHAIN OF THEIR CHOICE (I *believe* the big chains allow e-gift cards so I should be able to make it work (anyone NOT in the UK - I shall try for your chosen venues too, however, I can transfer the £20 to PayPal if needed!)) THE MOVIES TO PREDICT THE WORLDWIDE GROSS ARE: Minecraft [4th April | Warner Bros] Drop [11th April | Universal] Sinners [18th April | Warner Bros] Thunderbolts [2nd May | Disney Marvel] Final Destination: Bloodlines [16th May | Warner Bros] Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning [21st May | Paramount] Lilo & Stitch [23rd May | Disney] Ballerina [6th June | Lionsgate] Elio [13th June | Disney Pixar] How To Train Your Dragon [13th June | Universal] 28 Years Later [20th June | SONY] M3GAN 2.0 [27th June | Universal] F1 [27th June | Warner Bros] Jurassic World Rebirth [2nd July | Universal] Superman [11th July | Warner Bros] I Know What You Did Last Summer [18th July | SONY] The Fantastic Four: First Steps [25th July | Disney Marvel] The Conjuring: Last Rites [5th September | Universal] Michael [3rd October | Universal] The Black Phone 2 [17th October | Universal] Wicked: For Good [21st November | Universal] Zootopia 2 [28th November | Disney] Five Nights At Freddy's 2 [5th December | Warner Bros] Avatar: Fire and Ash [19th December | Disney] TIE-BREAK (PM ME) WHERE WILL THE 5th HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIE OF 2025 END UP IN MY PERSONAL EOY RANKING? Muse - Black Holes and Revelations Looking at the tracklist, I know 2 songs by name. Ofc 'Supermassive Black Hole' and 'Invincible' and there are 2 that I *think* I have heard before 'Starlight' and 'Knights of Cydonia', but I will have to confirm these as I listen to the album. Mid 00's me was NOT into Muse at ALL. I wasn't a fan of SBH but I actually liked 'Invincible' and thought it was lovely. However, my tastes have massively developed a lot since my teens so we'll see where I'm at with them on this listen. 01. Take a Bow 02. Knights of Cydonia 03. Invincible 04. City of Delusion 05. Supermassive Black Hole 06. Starlight 07. Exo-Politics 08. Glorious 09. Map of the Problematique 10. Hoodoo 11. Soldier's Poem 12. Assassin 'Take a Bow' is a great opening track. Really anthemic and a big "statement maker" for an introduction to the album. Yes... I HAVE heard 'Knights of Cydonia'. It's epic! Anything attached to Muse back then I just dismissed it and didn't really care for it, but now that I'm actively listening to it... it's SO GOOD! 'Invincible' is still SO GOOD! I don't know how it fares amongst Muse fans, but is it underrated? 'City of Delusion' is fantastic. Enjoying the switch ups on this through out - if I continue to listen to any of the tracks, I think this could grow to be a big fave of mine! 'Supermassive Black Hole' is much better for me on listens nowadays. Anthemic! 'Starlight' I can confirm I have absolutely heard this before. Definitely favouring it more on this listen than I ever have done before, too. 'Exo-Politics' definitely sounds "safer" but it's still true to my (incredibly limited) knowledge of who Muse are as a band. Enjoying this! 'Glorious' is indeed a "glorious" way to end the album. 'Map of the Problematique' is good, if very Muse by numbers. 'Hoodoo' hasn't left much of an impression on me on first listen, but I liked it. 'Soldier's Poem' is cute. Not sure I'm going to go back to 'Assassin' outside of the album. Thoroughly enjoyed my listen through of this album. An album which for some reason I have always wanted to check out, depsite never really caring for Muse before. I think becoming a fan of Nothing But Thieves kinda eased me more into what to actually expect from a Muse album. Great album!- Song Covers SoundClash #22
That would be a 3rd wipeout victory in this contest!- Chart Battle Rewind: Cascada vs Michael Jackson
This is how I feel (except MITM is one of my top 5 favourite MJ songs!) Evacuate the Dancefloor is a BANGER! It always has been to me lmao.- Song Covers SoundClash #21
Mary J’s version > the original!- JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! • 1st Album
The hype will definitely be back when she says she has an announcement though. It's going to be fine. If the release date is June 13th (as has been rumoured) then I think it's too early for pre-orders! Middle-end of April will be fine for an announcement with that release date.- Alexis Jordan - Alexis Jordan
After being removed from streaming for a few years, this album is BACK!- Alexis Jordan - Happiness
The album is now BACK ON SPOTIFY! - Jonjo's • 00's Album Thread
