Chart placings are a moot point nowadays unless key playlist placings are in play. Hot Hits UK and Today’s Top Hits (more for super viral or US artists.) are the most essential - if there isn’t any of that it’s generally a lot harder to break through. That is all down to the label. Not the fault of the artist.

She's just SO good. The hook is infectious and has been ingrained in my head ever since I first saw the trend it's used in on Tik Tok. This is going to be a huge top 10 smash.

I'm very intrigued to hear what this sounds like in studio form as the SNL performance was extremely Country (the kinda Country hit that wouldn't really be a hit anywhere outside of the US...) It was a bop, but not sure how the general UK public would take to it. It's my least favourite Chappell song I've heard since her breakthrough album (although I've ofc only heard the SNL version of it), but as I said - it's still a bop and she's on one of those rolls right now where pretty much anything she does is guaranteed to be an absolute SMASH.

Ordered my copies! That cover is indeed a serve! I was hoping we’d get another non-standard black vinyl. But 2 7” singles that are different variants is already us being spoilt 😆 They need to lower their prices though… or at least give us bundles! 😩 I swear she’s the only one who doesn’t do them! Also the Cassettes are way overpriced! Yes I am aware I’m a part of the problem by buying it anyway 😂 but I imagine she’d get more casual buys/interest if they were more reasonably priced.

Along with being top 100 again on Apple and #14 on YT UK, I do hope that is enough to get a reset into the top 40 officially once you add in the digital sales too.
