I need her to restock the vinyl variants! I don't want CD variants!!!! I want that blue vinyl I saw the movie today and it was sweet. 'The Fate of Ophelia' music video is incredible. Very much a video of the year contender. Some songs hit harder on the cinema speakers too. 'CANCELLED!' beat is dirrrty af and it was delicious! (Also, I think I'm coming around to 'Actually Romantic'... lol. Not by a lot but I'm at least in the "this is actually pretty fun" stage atm). Her explanations of the tracks was cute too. Particularly for 'Actually Romantic' and 'Wood' (the latter in particular). I'm still surprised this is still only on about 8 vinyl variants.

I wish I was able to get my hands on one of the other vinyl variants! Unfortunately (for me ofc x) it seems to have been a legit "limited edition" (just like the 'folklore' and 'evermore' variants)... she has not restocked the vinyl variants (yet?).

2nd week sales will drop below 60k... there is NO WAY she sells this amount (never mind increasing!!!) for 2 weeks+! The cinema release is this weekend only. Those numbers are absolutely INSANE for the UK! I really thought it'd do around that by the end of the week... Ecstatic though. I'm loving the album and hopefully 'The Life of a Showgirl' (song) can miraculously overtake 'Elizabeth Taylor' to get into the top 3 for the charts! 'The Fate of Ophelia', 'Opalite' & the title track are my 3 favourites from the album so it'd be a perfect 3 song success for me! I'm really excited to see the final numbers. I didn't think we'd ever see those levels ever again, not even with Adele's next album....

I believe the video is being released on YouTube for us in the UK at midnight!

'Opalite' above 'Elizabeth Taylor' yay! Really hope something else can chart over 'Elizabeth Taylor' and I hope it's 'The Life of a Showgirl' (due to it having stronger YT views)! If TLOAS can somehow get into the top 3 tracks with 'The Fate of Ophelia' and 'Opalite' in the chart, then that would be the correct top 3 from the album for me! I wish 'Ruin The Friendship' wasn't 2nd from the bottom </3

Charli doesn’t mention calling Taylor “Boring Barbie” in ‘Sympathy is a knife’, does she? So why would Taylor be referencing that song when the opening line of ‘Actually Romantic’ is clearly alluding to something Charli has said/been saying “in private”? I really don’t see where the confusion is with it? But meh, as has been stated people interpret things differently I guess. — I think I’m coming round to ‘Eldest Daughter’ a lot today. Kinda surprised tbh. I’m seeing the release party movie today. Excited to see the video for ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ and hear the bts stories of each song.

Idk tbh. I’d definitely say Charli’s fans are just as abhorrent and vile (that’s irl too not just online). My friend who loves Charli and has been to several tours of hers say that her fans got worse the bigger she got. But I think Barbz are definitely bottom of the barrell. Arianators are right towards the bottom with (specifically post-Folklore) Swifties, Monsters, Beyhive and Charli’s stans (but this is a convo for a different topic altogether lol) I think this is why I like Buzzjack tbh. We have super fans/stans but I don’t think any of us (well kost of us anyway aha) are particularly nasty defending our faves etc..

It's funny too because I don't actually think this is a direct response to Charli's song either, it's in response to things she has (clearly) been told about what Charli has said about Taylor away behind closed doors ("Sympathy is a knife" in public but "Boring Barbie" in private...). Being glad someone got "ghosted" is also legit nasty work too, imo (ghosting is toxic and uncalled for). Taylor has a right (and is allowed) to respond how she wants to respond. Just like Charli can respond how she wants to respond. Also didn't Charli literally set one of her best friends up with Scratty like RIGHT after? (Idk that lore too much (found this out today) but wouldn't surprise me if that was partly why Taylor responded too) Anyway... this album is growing on me more and more. Still don't really care for my bottom 4 right now, but I'm loving my favourites. 'Ruin The Friendship' is sooo good! Deserves more appreciation!

My second favourite from the album! I love it. Their voices go so well together and Sabrina in particular sounds GREAT!

Only if she was to keep these numbers (she won't). I'll be surprised if Olivia hasn't taken the number 2 spot back as soon as Monday's update tbh... Tomorrow and Monday's updates are going to get Taylor's tracks down to "normal" figures, before they end up stabilising on Tuesday & Wednesday's updates. It's pretty standard album release drops. The album is a big grower for me. Really enjoying it more and more with each listen so I hope some of the songs stay around. 'The Fate of Ophelia' and 'The Life of a Showgirl' are my favourite 2 but I am obsessing over 'Opalite' a lot right now too (that's the one I am seeing a lot of Tik Tok appreciation for too... so I wonder if that will translate somewhat?)

INSANE! Can't believe she managed to get 2,267,587 streams with it here in the UK! That's insane numbers! I was expecting 1.7m MAX (and I thought I was being optimistic!) Hopefully it can hold well all week (obviously insanely huge drop in tomorrow's and Monday's updates) but stabilise at a solid number for the rest of the week.

The bottom 4 I'm not sure I care much about. 'The Fate of Ophelia' is really, REALLY f***ing good! I'm excited to see the video for it on Sunday (unfortunately I can't make it work to see the cinema release sooner!). 'The Life of a Showgirl' is beautiful. LOOVE that a lot. 'Ruin The Friendship' is the sleeper hit I reckon. It'll be the one people look back on in a few months and appreciate more over time. 'Opalite' is great. That chorus is so infectious! 'CANCELLED!', 'Wood' & 'Wi$h Li$t' are all varying degrees of just pure pop fun and 'Elizabeth Taylor' is cute! At this point, I don't dislike the bottom 4 (not even 'Actually Romantic' atm - oops) but I wouldn't care enough to listen to them away from the album.

I keep finding myself singing little bits here and there. I’m really into this atm. I can’t wait to listen again after work. It’s quite a grower. I like how it’s not bold and brash tbh.

On 2nd listen to 'Actually Romantic' I actually like the music. I'm just not a fan of it's contents (But 2nd listen through this is all already getting better for me)

This isn’t as in your face as I expected, agreed. But I’m enjoying the album a lot on first listen and I think the entire thing will be more of a grower. It gave me a similar feeling to ‘Man’s Best Friend’ on first listen and I grew to love that more and more with each listen. My immediate highlights (after one listen): ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, ‘Elizabeth Taylor’, ‘Opalite’, ‘Ruin The Friendship’, ‘CANCELLED!’ and ‘The Life of a Showgirl’. Really solid on first listen and I am enjoying it. But I will need more time with a few of the tracks. ‘Actually Romantic’ is by FAR the worst on here.

She's not allowed to retaliate/respond how she wants to respond, ofc. It's only allowed to work one way for her. (This is the last I'm speaking on this until the album drops tomorrow - and I'm not sure I will even respond much more after my proper thoughts on the track coz the track itself really isn't all that tbh - bear in mind I've only heard the first 30 seconds or so)

I heard a snippet of 'Actually Romantic' and although the song itself isn't great, I'm glad to see her not just letting nasty comments towards her slide and fighting back somewhat.
