I imagine very similar sales for this. Although those were in Q3/Q4. This is his first release in Q1.

First listen through and it's really good. It's better than 'Seventeen Going Under' but not quite 'Hypersonic Missiles', for me. 'Nostalgia's Lie', 'Crumbling Empire', 'Little Bit Closer' and 'TV Dinner' (very Nothing But Thieves self-titled - in the best way!) are my favourite of the tracks we haven't heard already. But 'Remember My Name' is my favourite overall.

I think you're all over reacting a little bit tbh. The "insiders" have basically told us things are on track right now for what was originally planned, haven't they? :unsure: I just think we should calm down a little bit (not talking about the frustrations about the songs being leaked now etc.. they're perfectly valid) but speculation about the albums release is just that... speculation. If we don't have a pre-order up for an April release (as the insiders said - I think it was April or was it May? Icr) by mid March then sure, have at it. I'm gonna end up having egg on my face sure :lol: but Idk... I'm feeling quietly confident that the album IS coming and it is coming soon... (even if RCA are the absolute WORST!)

Just listened to 'Remember My Name' (I was going to hold off until the album on Friday, but the comments in here swayed me to listen beforehand) I'm legit wiping tears away as I type this. Absolutely gorgeous song. Wow. A performance of that at the BRITs would get him an easy multi-week number 1 smash I think.

I caved and listened to this (after telling myself I'd be good)... WHAT AN ALMIGHTY BANGER OMFG!! OBSESSED. (I'll be avoiding the other tracks for now, unless it becomes obvious they're not for the album etc..)

I actually don't think she necessarily needs a 2nd hit. It's definitely not *quite* as important for her to get one as it is for either Perrie or Leigh need to get one imo. I think she'll get another hit too, but I don't think it's quite as important for her. She's pretty much a critic darling right now and has mustered up a fairly loyal and dedicated fanbase as a soloist. I'd say she's pretty much Charli pre-Brat level atm. (Hoping all of this makes sense coz I'm so tired rn lmaoooo)

The international artists haven't been sidelined though? They still have their categories and are presented pretty equally. I think this is the fairest approach an awards show could be tbh. The GRAMMYs are constantly dominated by American acts with little to no room for anyone who isn't American to be nominated. I think celebrating British talent isn't a bad thing, especially when they have "International" awards available too. As for your last part about P!nk, I have no opinion really so can't comment further. I do understand why people question it, but should they? I don't think so, personally. But that's a them problem.
