  1. I love the artwork however, I completely see why it's as marmite as it is! --- I'm just starting to take it all in some more right now but Gosh, I'm so, SO proud of her. Don't forget, "Chart Battles and positions" are for fans. If it's critical acclaim she wants, then this has been a huge success, imo. However, I do think we should still do what we can for her just for that extra flex of being able to say "JADE has a #2/top 3/top 5 album to her name". I know Sabrina will overtake but if we can somehow get above TOP... *.* Also;
  2. Here is what the top 20 looks like, alphabetically: Addison Rae - Fame Is A Gun Addison Rae - Headphones On BLACKPINK - JUMP Chappell Roan - The Subway Confidence Man & JADE - Gossip. Danny L. Harle feat. PinkPantheress - Starlight Disco Lines & Tinashe - No Broke Boys Doja Cat - Jealous Type Ethel Cain - Nettles HAIM - Relationships JADE - Plastic Box Kesha feat. JADE - BOY CRAZY. Lorde - Shapeshifter LSR/CITY feat. Gareth Emery & Annabel - out of the sky PinkPantheress - Illegal Sabrina Carpenter - Manchild sombr - 12 to 12 Tame Impala - End of Summer Wolf Alice - The Sofa Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun Any surprises? 3. 21 - 3021. Yungblud - Zombie [36 Points] 22. Lorde - What Was That [35 Points | 1 x 20 Points] 23. Tate McRae - Just Keep Watching [35 Points | 1 x 18 Points] 24. HUNTR/X - Golden [33 Points] 25. Benson Boone - Mystical Magical [32 Points | 1 x 19 Points] 26. Ethel Cain - f*** Me Eyes [32 Points | 1 x 14 Points] 27. Ninajirachi - iPod Touch [31 Points | 1 x 19 Points] 28. JADE - FUFN (f*** You For Now) [31 Points | 1 x 14 Points] 29. Kesha feat. Slayyyter & Rose Gray - ATTENTION! [30 Points] 30. MARINA - Cuntissimo [29 Points] At #21 and missing on the top 20 by 3 points is Yungblud and his song 'Zombie'. I'm not a Yungblud fan but hearing this for the first time right now and it's good. Not sure if I'd deem it a "Summer" song personally, however, enough of you have had it soundtrack your Summer this year to get it to #21 in this countdown. Lorde is at #22 with her hit 'What Was That'. The lead single from her latest album. It's not her first appearance here, either! She has one more song to come. The next song was used in one of the biggest Summer blockbuster movies of the year and it's found it's way into this countdown too as Tate McRae's 'Just Keep Watching' is at #23! Another song to be taken from a Summer blockbuster movie this year... the BIGGEST Summer Blockbuster movie of the year. 'Golden' is a multi-week UK number 1 for fictional band HUNTR/X. It's an absolute ANTHEM and it's easy to see why it's soundtracked the Summer for so many people. Benson Boone's highest entry is next and if you have Tik Tok, you have probably struggled to escape this for a couple of weeks over Summer. 'Mystical Magical' finds itself at #25. Next up is Ethel Cain with her song 'f*** Me Eyes'. First time hearing this and it's nice, I just remember her previous comments coming to light on Twitter over the Summer. I have no idea who Ninajirachi is or are but I just know that a fair few of their songs were nominated here! Clearly made an impression on a few of you as 'iPod Touch' becomes the highest of their entries at #27. First time hearing and I can see why it's appealed to people and soundtracked their Summers. JADE is next at #28 with her most straight-forward pop leaning smash, 'FUFN'. An almighty BOP! BUY 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!'!!!!!! JADE is to appear a few more times yet... one of those is alongside the next person here, Kesha! Kesha's collaboration with Slayyyter and Rose Gray 'ATTENTION!' gets a fair amount and secures a position inside the top 30 of Buzzjack's Top Songs of the Summer! Ending this section is MARINA with her catchy and infectious song 'Cuntissimo'! Such a banger and deserves more love. But a few people voted for it enough to appear here.
  4. 31 - 40 31. dearALICE - Drums [28 Points | 1 x 19 Points] 32. HAIM - Down to Be Wrong [28 Points | 1 x 18 Points] 33. MISS LUXURY - Deal [27 Points | 1 x 14 Points] 34. Tyler, The Creator - Ring Ring Ring [27 Points | 2 x 10 Points] 35. Mark Ronson & RAYE - Suzanne [26 Points] 36. David Archuleta - Crème Brulée [25 Points | 1 x 16 Points] 37. Grace Davies - Super Love Me [25 Points | 1 x 13 Points] 38. Benson Boone - Mr. Electric Blue [25 Points | 2 x 12 Points] 39. Miley Cyrus - End of The World [24 Points | 1 x 20 Points] 40. KATSEYE - Gnarly [24 Points | 1 x 13 Points] dearALICE kick start us off with their single 'Drums'. From what I understand they're a British K-Pop group? I've heard of them through this website, but I'm not sure I remember listening to them. 'Drums' isn't for me, but it scored enough points to reach #31 here! Up next is a song from girl band HAIM. 'Down To Be Wrong' is ok, but not really my thing. They never have been tbh. This is their 2nd highest entry in this countdown. At #33 is someone I haven't even heard of before counting these results. MISS LUXURY makes her mark for some of you as she is at #33! First listen to the song and it's alright, again though, it's just not to my personal tastes. Tyler, The Creator is at #34 with 'Ring Ring Ring'. It's decent tbh. I can see the appeal to some here but not really one I will personally go back to! But clearly it did something over the Summer for 3 of you to get it in the top 40! At #35 is the smooth 'Suzanne' by Mark Ronson & RAYE. I'm sorry to report that this doesn't do anything for me personally either, oops. But clearly left a mark for some of you! I can see why you'd listen to this over Summer though. Recent David is something I know a little bit about and 'Crème Brulée' is his attempt at making a Disco-lite, pop bop. Not really a favourite for me and I prefer some of his past hits but this is still fun. We see X Factor alum Grace Davie at #37 with the incredibly popular (online specifically) 'Super Love Me' and this is my first time hearing it and... it's a BOP! I can see why it's loved as much as it is! I avoided it until now largely because Grace's voice doesn't do anything for me and I find it quite unlistenable (from what I remembered of her time in XF at least), but this is a big bop! Lemme add it to my playlist *.* Speaking of voices that I find unlistenable... Benson Boone is up next with his hit 'Mr. Electric Blue'. This isn't his highest entry either... Up next is Miley Cyrus' should've been a Global number 1 SMASH... 'End of The World'. Just epic in it's sound and sounds huge to me. Had they released this first over "teasing us" with 'Something Beautiful', I really think it could have done something. It was a big song to soundtrack my Summer. Excellent. Finally we have the HUGELY popular and viral KATSEYE but *only* as high as 40th! I really thought they'd get higher with this as it went extremely viral. However, it started off going viral for the WRONG reasons... but then kind of managed to find some kind of cult following over the Summer.
  5. I'm still awaiting my Gold and 2 marble variants, but this is my favourite variant so far. It's perfect for the albums aesthetics
  6. Translation: ""Self Saboteur" has been added to the "Pitchfork Selects" playlist by @pitchfork on Apple Music and Spotify, which gathers the 12 best songs for "you to listen to now""
  7. I think Sabrina is overtaking, unless we get some pricing strategies from JADE's team etc.. (I can see Sabrina overtaking 21P too - but we'll see on that one) EDIT: Oh and my 4 vinyl bundle only got dispatched this morning. But I suspect ofc most of them are dispatched already.
  8. I'm nervous about Ed's - Greatest Hits... It was #13 in the mid weeks last week and ended up at #4 come Friday with streaming added in... This week he is #8 mid-week...
  9. Personally signed available! No vinyl though??
  10. Pretty much the EXACT outcome we all predicted for the mid weeks (Ed, TOP, JADE & (presumably) Sabrina) ... now we wait for sales info! Official ChartsEd Sheeran, JADE and more: This week's Albums Chart UpdatePlaying on repeat! Ed Sheeran storms ahead in this week's Albums Chart race with his eighth studio release, Play (1). The record could land Ed an impressive ninth Number 1 award, with his last bein...
  11. 'Silent Disco' is streaming very well considering it's the last track, too. I suspect it's people listening to BYBMH right before it though, but it's crazy to me that the last two songs on the album are holding the strongest!
  12. If JADE or her team see this.... GET 'BEFORE YOU BREAK MY HEART' ONTO EVERY PLAYLIST YOU CAN ASAP. It was the only song from the album to INCREASE it's streams, yesterday! On a SUNDAY!
  13. WE HAVE A WINNER. TOP 40 STARTING @ 7pm BST.
  14. Tafty posted a post in a topic in The Music Lounge
A song so good it gets nominated TWICE! TIMELESS! FLAWLESS! BRILLIANT! SHOWSTOPPING! SPECTACULAR! ETC..
  15. JADE is at the pop up today and she's giving out free merch, taking selfies and signing items! Even more gutted I couldn't go today </3
  16. We’ll go with this narrative! Lemme go spread info that she is 333 copies behind Ed for a number 1 album, over on Twitter.
  17. I want a Glitch t-shirt tbh (and the Newspaper things they're handing out).
  18. What time is the pop up shop open until?? I wish I knew about it beforehand coz I'm off today and I'm now working for 7 days straight. Ughhhh.
  19. @365 go get the sticker one! I'm really debating about the Cassette... Idk what to dooooo. Shall I? I bought everything for the single releases so I have those Cassettes... Lemme see the sales later...
  20. Interesting. I do not have 'IT girl' followed by 'Headache' And I am using 'Midnight Cowboy' intro more as an intro to more sexual pleasures and less as an introduction to the album. We MUST keep 'Self Saboteur' into 'Lip Service' and I love the 'Fantasy' into 'Unconditional' sequence too! For my first attempt, this is what I have: 01. IT girl 02. FUFN 03. Natural at Disaster 04. Before You Break My Heart 05. Fantasy 06. Unconditional 07. Headache 08. Plastic Box 09. Self Saboteur 10. Lip Service 11. Midnight Cowboy 12. Glitch 13. Silent Disco 14. Angel Of My Dreams I love 'IT girl' as an opener. Especially introducing us to the title of the album. 'Headache' following 'Unconditional' actually works well too. I originally had 'Fantasy' and 'Unconditional' as track 12 & 13 and had it followed by 'Silent Disco'. It didn't work for me there! 'Unconditional' ends way to abrupt for it to continue into the most romantic song on the album so I tried 'Headache' and didn't want to end the album on 'Headache' so I moved things around a little and got what I have here which I'm happy with! I really love the idea of the album culminating in AOMD and really finalising that this era is specifically for JADE and her relationship with the industry she desires to be a part of. But I'm really excited to hear the album in the way you guys have shared too!
  21. Ugh. I love her so much. 🥹😍
  22. Going back to this... would the Taylor collab on 3rd October potentially prevent 'House Tour' from entering/staying in the chart if things stand as they are at the moment, due to the 3 track rule? So for example if 'Manchild' goes to ACR in a couple of weeks (think I read it's on 1 week of decline as of this week, right?) and 'House Tour' manages to overtake it to become her 3rd chart entry, I presume the Taylor collab won't hinder that and Sabrina will likely have 4 tracks top 40?
