The big trans atlantic crossover star performing a new song for the first time (just like Harry/RAYE…) So what’s your point..?

JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE • 1st Album DELUXE
Finally got mine today and it’s beautiful. The EFFORT put into this entire campaign with the physical variants has been perfect. Just so gorgeous and beautifully executed from the images, colour variants, alternate artworks, the re-issue actually being an entirely new photoshoot and different aesthetics but thematically on point… 🤌🤌🤌🤌

Favourite lead singles from their Debut solo albums
Not Such An Innocent Girl Tell Me What Took You So Long — Look At Me — Going Down > Thankfully this is her worst ever song and it didn’t halt or hinder her success - I do appreciate how bold it was for going for something like this though! it’s just unfortunately, not my thing. <

You get told this every time. The likelyhood of artists performing a “new” song at an awards show that celebrates their success the previous year is (although not rare) unlikely. They have Harry to perform something “fresh” and RAYE is a huge British star so could possibly perform ‘Nightingale Lane’ over WTHIMH, but everyone else will likely be performing their “hits” of last year (then again, even with Harry if he performed ‘Aperture’ you’d still probably moan that he should have done a “new” track) I promise you that you would enjoy everything more if you actually just went with it and celebrated it with them. It’s not a chat show where they would be wasting a performance slot by prioritising an older song over a new one (Little Mix performing Break Up Song on Strictly over Sweet Melody for example)

JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE • 1st Album DELUXE
I’m sad she won’t be performing. But she’ll be hosting an award tonight and will be on a table with ROSALÍA! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVRfFBgDCaC/?igsh=NHY1NzByc2RueWx2

Sales • Part 3
Oooh a nice little update for those 2 albums! Yay! I assume JADE should get a nice little boost this week with the vinyl release. I hope it can at least re-enter the top 75! She's already done about 1k p/w so I imagine an extra 2k vinyl?

Leigh-Anne - My Ego Told Me To • 1st Album | 20th February 2026
I will be very shocked if she gets a 2nd week top 100. Routing for her to surprise ofc, but I am absolutely not counting on it! I've been at work so I've not had a chance to celebrate but what an incredible achievement for her! Such a great album and it's so nice to say that Little Mix's debut album and final album together have the same peaks of LM3's debut solo albums! It's really quite poetic in.

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part Two (Solo Female)
01. Kelly Clarkson - Judas [Favourite] 02. Delta Goodrem - Electric Storm 03. ROSALÍA - Divinize 04. FKA twigs - Kicks 05. LiSA - TA, I, SE, TSU Pile up (た、い、せ、つ Pile up) 06. Toni Braxton - Sex & Cigarettes 07. Kesha - Cannibal 08. Lily Allen - Tennis 09. Chappell Roan - Picture You 10. Nelly Furtado - Wait For You ADORE that Kelly pick. What a song/album! Enjoyed the Delta track too. Know and love those ROSALÍA & FKA Twigs songs. Another nice discovery from LiSA and a nice little discovery from Toni too, but the way she sings on this is kind of off putting a little bit to me. Not my favourite Kesha, Lily, Chappell or Nelly songs tbh - particularly from those specific eras! But they're decent enough and not the worst in the entire round.

The BuzzJack Friday Chart Show Thread: 27th February 2026
Crazy thing is… ‘DNA’ (Little Mix debut album) also debuted and peaked at #3! Their final album released as a group also debuted and peaked at #3!

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part Two (Solo Male)
01. Troye Sivan - IN A DREAM [Favourite] 02. Eric Saade - It’s Gonna Rain 03. Conan Gray - Miss You 04. Fred again.. - Sabrina (i am a party) 05. David Bowie - Warszawa 06. George Michael - Precious Box 07. Nik Kershaw - You Might 08. The Weeknd - Nothing Compares 09. Shawn Mendes - Where Were You in the Morning? 10. Ruel - SITTING IN TRAFFIC Top 3 Troye songs for me. Stunning BOP! I feel like I've heard that Eric song before but... GREAT choice. A BANGER! THAT'S IT. I'VE HEARD ENOUGH. I will be delving more into Conan's discography at a later date. A surprisingly addictive bop from Fred! A curveball choice from David. Wasn't expecting it to sound anything like this but really enjoyed it. Gave me 80's movie soundtrack vibes! The George song suffered the same fate as Erasure this round... Started off interested and loving it but it just didn't know when to end. Meh at the Nik track. Forgettable song from The Weeknd... I can't remember it and I've heard that album a fair amount of times! Who is responsible for Shawn because this choice? NOT IT! Omg. He has pretty much most other tracks from that same album as well as anything from 'Wonder'...! Luckily for him, Ruel is even more boring.

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part Two (Groups)
01. Atomic Kitten - Walking on the Water [Favourite] 02. HAIM - Days Are Gone 03. The Corrs - Hideaway 04. ABBA - Keep an Eye on Dan 05. Scissor Sisters - Skin Tight 06. Erasure - Sono Luminus 07. Florence + the Machine - Howl 08. Blondie - Shayla 09. The Chicks - Lullaby 10. The 1975 - Pressure (Artful Remix) Atomic Kitten's song is a highlight from that album. It's lovely. A nice choice from HAIM. Enjoyed The Corrs song! ABBA's song is fun enough. I have a very meh relationship with Scissor Sisters tbh and this is no different. It's good though. I loved Erasure's song to begin with but then it went on and on and on and on without actually going anywhere?? Decent enough Florence track for me, still can't stand her wailing though </3 Nice enough Blondie track I guess, but it's probably just not my thing. The Chicks song is much like the Blondie track in that it's nice, but not sure I'd go and listen to it away from this contest.

Ghosts: The Possession of Button House
I love this show! I can't imagine it as a movie though... but I'll remain optimistic!

Leigh-Anne - My Ego Told Me To • 1st Album | 20th February 2026
Being independent is VERY different to having a major label backing you regardless of where you were previous to your current situation. Of course there are some huge examples where being independent has worked (RAYE being the major focus point rn) but it's definitely harder overall, when majority of your funding is from you, yourself! Limited streaming and radio support/promo slots etc.. The best thing about being independent is that charts won't matter to you as much as they do a major label. You are likely to continue putting out music whether you hit top 3, 30 or 300. -- Just a reminder as a rule of thumb from this forum in general... NO CHART SPOILERS POSTED ON THIS FORUM PLEASE! We have to wait until it has been officially announced on the Official Charts.Anyone who doesn't adhere to these rules may be warned and their post WILL be edited/deleted.

My vinyl got shipped today! Can't waitttt <3- Weekly UK Box Office
Ohhh yes I forgot Netflix don't release their figures (crazy work tbh. Surely bragging about the box office success will only help when it gets released to their service??) 20th March is the Netflix release date and 6th March is the theatrical release date!- Leigh-Anne - My Ego Told Me To • 1st Album | 20th February 2026
Top 10 (likely top 5) as an independent artist is incredible. She will be extremely pleased with wherever she lands I think. I just think a #3 peak would be so satisfying and kind of a full circle moment. Little Mix's first and last album release together both peaked at #3 (DNA & Between Us) and having JADE, Perrie and Leigh's debut albums all debut and peak at number 3 would be very satisfying!- Scream 7 | 27th February 2026
At this point it was the 2nd lowest. It’s now down to 43%, which now makes it the worst reviewed in the franchise!- Leigh-Anne - My Ego Told Me To • 1st Album | 20th February 2026
https://leighanne.tmstor.es/product/my-ego-told-me-to-download She’s put the other version (+) on sale as a digital download!- Friday Chart Predictions
Give it a rest, luv x -- Anyway, still routing for Leigh to grab #3 (I'm sure it won't as I wasn't expecting Hilary to fight with releasing the "Mine" versions! I love that album too <3) but Leigh debuting at the same position that Little Mix, JADE & Perrie's first albums did... would be quite the feat!- Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 19/02/26
I think she's a big enough star and a British National Treasure atm to be able to perform a new song. I also think it's the reason why she's releasing that particular song on Friday and not 'Click Clack Symphony' which was apparently meant to be next!- Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 19/02/26
RAYE is releasing her next song too and if it's the one she performs at the BRITs, I can see a 'Someone Like You' kind of moment for her... so let us pray! - JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE • 1st Album DELUXE
