'The Dead Dance' isn't doing much for me unfortunately ☹️ I'm finding it quite cringe and I thought it came across quite forced in the episode it airs in (I realise I'm in the minority though). I suspect the huge jump yesterday was in large part to the VMA's? (As well as it growing in general ofc)

They do “tracks from *insert album*” quite a lot. But it depends who the artist is. Usually reserved for major acts like Taylor, Billie, Sam Fender etc.. they’re all usually A-List though but I am SOOOOO pleased to see that Radio 1 continue to support her! I reckon they’ll just wait to see if one particular song starts doing better than the others before deciding what to playlist individually! I’m surprised they didn’t do it for Ed tbh…

Up to #44 in yesterday's mid weeks but there's Spotify data missing for the entire weekend, so the mids are a bit skewed. However, if this sneaks top 40 due to no Spotify data being reported at all... I'm going to welcome it with open arms!!!! LMAO!

She's going to have sales that would probably have given her a number 1 on a lot of the weeks in between the time the album went up to pre-order to now too... which is what the most frustrating thing is about it all. Ugh. It would have been nice to have had "The number 1 album..." added to the promotional trail... but I digress.

I have a feeling Perrie will have a higher peak than JADE but on less sales. Perrie is definitely the most popular member of LM to casuals so she could be getting some solid impulse buys. I'm so annoyed JADE's team have set her up like this lmao! Grr. (Why wouldn't they have chosen this week to release instead of Ed week? Makes no sense to meeeee but w/e!) I am really, really intrigued to see how far Olivia can go. I think she's going to be a huge hit in the US too! Like, surprisingly so. I think it's just a case of "how high" for her. Number 1 debut and I can see it at about 60k-70k. But having incredible longevity and stability (particularly sales wise). Even with Taylor the following week (I reckon a bit more on the optimistic side and I'll go with 60k-ish opening week #1 and then #2 the following week on sales that would give her a number 1 in pretty much nearly every other week of the year too - that top 3 will probably be Taylor - Olivia - Sabrina!) I'm intrigued about Zara too. A lot of goodwill for her, but I feel like it won't translate into too much more sales for her album tbh. Maybe curiosity streams here and there but I'd probably agree with Jay and say low top 10 with about 6k. Doja Cat will be interesting. I think she'll do enough for a top 5 debut. Her signed vinyl and CD sold out incredibly quick! As for the others... no idea. That's interesting about GA's past re-issues! I kinda want it to get exactly the same for that reason tbh lol. But isn't 'Chemistry' often regarded as their 2nd best album? I can see a bit more interest in this one compared to their debut and 2nd album. Not a lot more, but I think it'll have higher debut sales than the first two re-issues. ROLL ON THE NEXT REISSUE TBH!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! (I'll finally be able to get my hands on a nice 'Tangled Up' vinyl! ) Mariah... probably similar to 'Caution' sales tbh.

One of my orders has shipped! YAYYY! Not from her official store though, the Indie Exclusive Clear and Picture Disc as I ordered them from 'Spinning Around Records' as they were a little bit cheaper there than everywhere else (that I saw) I'm actually not at home this week either so that's annoying!!! I can't listen to the album on vinyl until I get home on Sunday!!!! Streaming tf outta the album all week still though!

That's really nice to hear tbh. The thing I'm finding about their solo careers so far is that they're all very different to each other but you can see how they worked so well as a group and see what each member brought to the group. You don't have to be apologetic for thinking this, btw! I do think though, you're probably not finding yourself going to LM stuff right now, because the girls are delivering big for you and we're just in that era of music roll-outs for the ladies solo material (does this make sense? )

She's possibly THE best performer we have right now. She serves and delivers EVERYTHING, EVERY TIME. I still need her rock remix of 'Say So' on streaming.
