As much as I think her material is absolutely flawless, I just don't think she's up to enough (publically) to warrant a forum's worth of discussion... And I don't suspect album 2 will be any time soon, she seems to spend alot of time perfecting her songs! (I'd happily be proven wrong though!)

So, a video that's been nominated as one of the best direction, art direction, cinematography, editing, choreo, and vfx ISN'T nominated over another of her videos that wasn't nominated in any of them categories for video of the year? Is there something I'm missing? Feels bizarre that 'Abracadabra' has been recognised as one of the best in every video category apart from video of the year. Surely 'DWAS' would be nominated in at least one of them? 🤣 (congrats on the noms LG, either way [even if I preferred 'Disease' as both a song and video!])

Thanks for commenting! I'm really loving 'Shook'! And 'Save Me' is alot better than I expected from Olly at this stage, I'm really enjoying it! Jade can certainly do no wrong! 'Plastic Box' is still brilliant, but was always gonna struggle in comparison to 'FUFN', which spent a billion years in my upper echelons! 'gossip' is fab, definitely a grower! I'm enjoying 'JUMP', I've never paid much attention to BLACKPINK actually, but this has definitely caught my attention! Glad you enjoyed the chart 😊

Made even more bizarre by the fact this was performed live before 'The Giver' was released (well before it was performed on SNL, actually [which was, in turn, an age before 'The Giver' got released]), coupled with how frontloaded that was! Chappell said it took ages to get the recorded version of this right, so that could explain why there's such a long wait maybe? Either way, I adore this. It was worth the wait. Chappell literally hasn't missed with anything post-covid* for me! (I'm not a fan of her pre-2020 stuff tbh) * Not including demos, as they're obviously not finished! I didn't really care for 'Fix It In The Morning' - very clearly an insanely early stage demo (it's like 1 verse and a chorus, iirc)

Slowly making my way through this... Was not expecting a chilled The Bad Touch sample (though that song was the first thing that came to mind when I saw DiscoveryChannel.mp3!) So far... The album is much more mellow than I expected, based purely on Mirtazapine... (I was definitely expecting a rock album)

I just love that the artistry that she's demonstrating, and acclaim that she's receiving, is allowing her to work with such a range of artists! This song is very much a grower for me, I'm loving it more with each listen!

But that was really just a Rise and Fall song with a country twang, so I don't understand how it was so disliked in comparison 😂

Hey, Loving Jade's Top 2 lockout: I still can't get enough of FUFN, and I'm so excited to see her on tour in October! 🥰 Loving 99% of what I've heard! The only song in your Top 10 I've not heard is 'On The Beach', so I'm giving that a spin now; not sure that one's for me - though it seems like it's a soundtrack song for a video game, and it definitely has the sort of atmosphere that would work in the context of a game so I can see the appeal, at least!
