Music Week confirm YouTube streams will count to chart
From what I saw (I was on the app the other day and it directed me to a link to download YouTube Music) it is an audio streaming thing - and costs £12.99(!!!) per month. It did seem to have an interesting function where it would find the song you want to listen to if you type out lyrics or explain the song though (not sure how that would work, sounds very smart)...

Saara Aalto - Wild Wild Wonderland
I don’t know if you’re able to attend any of these (looks like you’re based in Ireland?), but Steps are playing the following dates still with Saara as a support: 23rd June | Chester (Bolesworth Castle) *also with Blue 24th June | Coventry (Butts Park Arena) *also with Blue 5th July | London (Old Royal Naval College) I know there were Groupons for the Colchester one, so you may be able to get tickets on the cheap!

Saara Aalto - Wild Wild Wonderland
Oh... by the looks of it, she’s just announced ‘Dance!!!’ as the next single. No new song and no video (that I can see, anyway - and that snippet above was the same one played to her entrance when she warmed up for Steps). I do love the song, but it seems bizarre to hype up some news for the ‘release’ of a song that’s been available for a couple of months already. :P On another note, saw her at the Steps gig in Colchester on Saturday and she was absolutely amazing, she also air-hearted and waved at me during ‘Monsters’. (Probably cause I’ve listened to the album a billion times already and knew all the words to all the songs...)

Drag Race X - Who Do You Want to Win?
Kameron > Asia >>>>>>>> Aquaria >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Eureka Of course, Aquaria is a shoe-in for the win. And that wouldn’t disappoint me but - for my tastes, anyway - Kameron and Asia have brought the most consistent quality. Eureka can go nowhere near the crown thx. I’m fed up of her strolling onto the runway literally every week in some basic-ass look and getting praised for it, and also feel for essentially playing herself in basically every challenge (and likewise, getting praise for it ). My ideal Top 4 would have been: Kameron, Miz Cracker, Mayhem & Asia. I would say Blair in place of Asia, but she was relatively one note, even if I did ADORE what she did!

Tove Lo ft. Charli, Alma, Icona Pop & Elliphant - Bitches
One of these bitches was also on that one. :kink: I actually really like this song after first listen, it’s so chill.

Charli XCX - 5 In The Morning
Ok, listening to the mixtapes again (I haven’t listened to them - except from when they were both initially released), and I can see that they’re not really the trend-chasing sound that she’s coming out with in her singles (‘After the Afterparty’, ‘Boys’ and this, I’m looking at you). Still not really excellent though. :(
-
Charli XCX - 5 In The Morning
Saying the Charli doesn’t like it doesn’t mean that *I* can’t love it. :P Anyway, I’m 99% sure she’ll get bored of this trend-chasing sound she’s currently doing, soon enough. Agreed, I loved it when Charli went did whatever everyone else wasn’t doing. It made her music sound fresh, which is probably why I loved it so much.

Clean Bandit (ft. Demi Lovato) - Solo
Demi Lovato; queen of earning music video dollar with minimal effort
-
Charli XCX - 5 In The Morning
I don’t think there’s ever been an artist that I’ve loved SO MUCH descend into such mediocrity. True Romance and SUCKER were excellent, everything else has been pretty good, at best, this is no exception - it’s alright, just a bit meh. Added to my playlist in the hope it grows though...

Saara Aalto - Wild Wild Wonderland
Best album of the year so far, really like every track! Loving ‘Hän’, ‘Dance!!!’ and ‘Half a Heart’ in particular (as well as ‘Monsters’, ‘Queens’ and ‘Domino’ ofc). SO GOOD. *.* Makes me even more excited for Steps in June!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 9th March 2018
Omg, Feeder coming for Albums Chart domination! Probably someone who got dragged to their tour by a friend and now realise how brilliant they are. :D

Formula E
Next years car looks like a space fighter or something! Started watching Formula E this season and really feel like I’ve missed out, the races are so good and actually quite unpredictable (says it all that all 3 - and the current - seasons have been won by a different driver!). Finland (UMK) · Eurovision Song Contest 2018
‘Queens’ has grown on me, it’s so fun! Definitely my favourite of the three, though all three are amongst my favourite tracks of the year so far!

2018 Formula One Season
I reckon: Mercedes Ferrari McLaren (Stoffel did well yesterday!) Red Bull Renault Force India - or whatever they rename themselves as before Australia! Williams Toro Rosso Sauber Haas Still early days ofc, and tough to gauge really due to the current conditions in Cataluña!
-
Finland (UMK) · Eurovision Song Contest 2018
Really really like all three of the tracks, I’m sure they’ll all do well actually! Agreed that only ‘Monsters’ really stands out as a winner. I love the campy musical vibe in ‘Queens’ and ‘Domino’ is a faultless power-ballad... Saara is the queen I never realised I needed in my life before The X Factor!

2018 Formula One Season
As have Haas and Williams! The halo doesn’t actually look too out of place imo.

Do you miss the held back releases?
I voted yes, my reasoning behind this is similar to what others have said. This is the UK Charts forum and I miss the fast-paced charts and more black and white charting performances (less anomonies and no need for farcical ACR drops). If this was in the Lounge or another forum, I would obviously say no, because who wants to wait to be able to purchase (or stream) new music?
