'Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle' | 2017
This film is doing so much better than I expected (I was also surprised at how good it is), it’s made 26m in the UK Box Office in 3 weeks and even more shockingly it dethroned The Last Jedi (after just 3 weeks at the top spot) from the top of the chart last weekend! :o

How old are Pink’s fans?
I think early 20s to mid 30s are where her hardcore fanbase lies. The sorts of people that have grown up with one of her huge eras (‘M!ssunaztood’ to ‘Funhouse’ really). Of course, I’m sure teens and older fans aren’t exactly in a minority either!

She has an extremely loyal (but small) fan base who preordered prior to release. Sadly, she’ll drop soon. :(

Jessie J - R.O.S.E.
I’m not surprised everything is flopping, WHERE ARE THE HOOKS?! All four of the songs released so far are absolutely dreadful, so boring and completely forgettable. Like, I get that her previous music had more than it’s fair share of haters, but at least it was full of hooks...

The Apprentice
Can’t say I recall her being mentioned in any sort of light either... I see her standing in the boardroom, and I’m like oh, you’re there still.

The Apprentice
I genuinely keep forgetting Jade is even there, I’d be so disappointed if she wins, I can’t think of anything she has done to contribute to a single task. Maybe I’m watching a different show to everyone else? Literally everyone else has been getting either good and bad (or just bad, in a few cases) airtime... but nothing for her.

Steps - 'Tears on the Dancefloor'
Nope, but then again ‘Scared of the Dark’ is basically pop perfection. ‘Neon Blue’ runs it very close though, and there’s not a single dud on the album so I’d recommend you listen to it now!

Formula One- 2017 Season
Red Bull have made it clear that Kvyat has reached a dead-end. The goal for Toro Rosso is basically to test out drivers with a view to moving them up to the main team. Kvyat has hardly set the track alight since being stepped down, and has rightly been given the boot. Whether Hartley is an improvement on Kvyat or not, only time will tell. Considering he hasn’t raced single seaters in a few years, he’s been incredibly quick (similarly paced to Gasly, who has recently competed in Japanese Super Formula & GP2). I have no doubt he’ll work hard over winter to improve and become more worthy of the drive.

Natasha Bedingfield - Singles Rate RESULTS
Definitely missed voting for this. :( ‘These Words’ is possibly one of my favourite pop songs ever, ‘Unwritten’ is a feat track though - and the obvious winner! Great Top 5 actually, probably my Top 5 Bedingfield singles. Only just realised that her first three singles are my faves of hers.
-
Paramore - After Laughter
Good choice of single! Was worried (well not worried, as it’s a good song, just doesn’t feel singly to me) they were going to choose ‘Rose-Colored Boy’. Hope this can sell some albums for them, I’m sure R1 will playlist it. Can’t wait to see them again in January, they’re always brilliant live!

Formula One- 2017 Season
Gasly and Hartley have now been confirmed as Toro Rosso’s 2018 lineup. Just the two Sauber seats and the remaining Williams one left to be confirmed!
-
Formula One- 2017 Season
I can’t see Wehrlein or Kvyat getting the drive. As much as Mercedes want Pascal in the seat, Martini require one of the drivers to be at least 25 so that pretty much rules either of them out. Wehrlein has hardly been outshining Ericsson and Kvyat is too much of a risky move for them to piss off Martini...
-
Steps - 'Light Up the World'
Maybe they want to sweep it under the carpet? They seem to be acknowledging that this is their fourth album, so don’t appear to care about it themselves.

Formula One- 2017 Season
Excellent drive from Max, with all the Renaults dropping left right and centre he must’ve been shitting bricks. Rumour has it Sauber will be running Charles Leclerc and Marcus Ericsson next year. Ericsson isn’t a foregone conclusion though as Sauber say his financial backing isn’t a priority and they need the best fit for the long-term. Ferrari are also still trying to convince them to take on Giovinazzi, and they are trying to convince Haas give him a drive too (despite Haas already confirming they are running the same line-up next year, and I believe both are in contract... who knows). Toro Rosso look likely to run Pierre Gasly & Brendon Hartley (they seem happy with the results both have been getting) so the only seat that remains pretty much a complete open book is Williams’ second seat...

I’d rather it was someone else performing on Sam Smith live at the BBC. Also shocked at the decision to allow Sheridan Smith to perform of Sheridan...

Steps - 'Dancing with a Broken Heart'
I was initially a bit alienated by ‘Dancing With a Broken Heart’, probably because I find Delta’s version so enchanting and amongst the best in her discography (unpopular opinion as it may be). However, it has grown since and I think I prefer it to ‘Neon Blue’ as my second favourite of the era. :o

Wow, this one’s an ACTUAL BANGER. :o She’s (or, her husband’s) finished milking Timeless then and gone back to her 2013 album which - according to Apple Music - was released on AATW. Maybe she could finally get that elusive REAL smash!

Formula One- 2017 Season
As mentioned in the post race commentary, if the FIA want to run these races on these too mistake-forgiving circuits with huge run off areas and meters of tarmac between the track and grass, these sorts of things are going to happen and happened multiple times during this race. I really don’t like the way these circuits are heading, even classic tracks like Suzuka are being ruined with run off areas in favour of more punishing gravel traps. :(
-
Sia - Everyday Is Christmas
Looks like they could be, Sia doesn’t seem like the sort of artist to release a studio version of a cover (aside from the Annie track, which was a reinterpretation of a song from the film, for the film, ofc). She’s probably most well known for her songwriting!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 13th October 2017
Strangely, I think Shayne Ward (who won pre-Leona) would have benefitted from waiting until the live shows! His second single (and second era singles) did reasonably well, I think we could have had the first Leona if they’d have waited. The potential was certainly there, I’m sure he was touted as the British JT at the time!

Q3/4 Predictions 2017
You’ve been pretty much spot on with all that’s happened so far. :o
-
Mollie King - Hair Down
Didn’t realise I hadn’t commented in here yet, out of the current Xenomania bangers, this one is definitely my favourite. It’s just so fun, I’d have expected to prefer ‘Go to Work’! Both are pretty much as good as anything out at the moment, it’s a crying shame to see them struggle so much. :(
- Shania Twain - Now
