The album version. The remixed version is completely nondescript club filler!

Kamaliya ~ Reigning Queen of iTunes
I’ve listened to all of the songs that her husband has been buying, and ‘Wild Child’ is the only one that I like. Great 80’s vibe, really catchy chorus! The rest sound tacky.

Formula One- 2017 Season
I'm sorry (well not really ha), but if they really didn't want Jo in 2015, Renault would not have re-signed him at the end of 2016 in a billion years. He was the GP2 champion in 2014 and really improved towards the end of last season. If they didn't want him, they'd have taken on another Maldonado or something. He has shown this year that he's been quite capable of reaching Q3 and has done well in the races, but has also been hit by poor reliability more often than Hulk. Yes, he's not as quick as Hülkenberg, but he's also a lot less experienced in F1. I actually believe he's getting there and I think (whether this is me being deluded or not, I don't know) Williams haven't made a decision yet, purely because they want to see how he reacts to the Singapore result.

Formula One- 2017 Season
Kvyat's deadwood. If he's not slow, he's crashing. He had his chance with in a Red Bull and just wasn't good enough. Regarding the Williams sitch, I know the rumours are that they're deciding between Massa, di Resta and Kubica, but I honestly do believe that they're waiting to see how Jo performs in the next few races following on from his decent performance in Singapore. Yes, only 12 cars finished - but it was in quite challenging conditions (if the first corner incident wasn't enough to prove that, then Kvyat and Ericsson walling their cars surely does?). I seriously do think he's still in the running, plus his dad's chopper was spotted at Williams' HQ a week or so ago which leads me to believe discussions are being made.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 15th September 2017
I quite like 'Wild Child', it's very 80's. EDIT: In fact, I've added it to my "Just Added" Apple Music playlist...

Emeli Sande - Kingdom
Well this has quite the bassline, part of me thinks it's sounds great in a club, but the other part thinks not.

Steps - 'Tears on the Dancefloor'
Absolutely can't wait for this! Love Delta's original. The fact that poster above said it sounds like an inferior version of 'Scared of the Dark' does worry me a little though, they're both great songs of course, but I can't imagine this being of a similar style, will just have to wait and see... Good news that the Radio Mix of 'Neon Blue' will finally be made available on iTunes / streaming with the release of this too!

Formula One- 2017 Season
Circuit variety in F1 is a big issue I feel. Back in the 90s there was a good range of tracks before Tilkeification took over!

Formula One- 2017 Season
I agree ...only if we're counting Top 3 action. Further down the lineup there were some really interesting showcases of skill that some drivers have struggled to show previously. Some Magnussaction was a pleasure to see, yes he's not quite at the same level as Grosjean yet, but what he did during this race before his car started suffering from issues was quite brilliant to watch. I also loved watching Jo take Bottas, if he wasn't plagued with such poor reliability, I reckon he'd score a bunch more points (not to the same degree as Hulky, but he is much more experienced in F1). On the subject of Palmer, I do hope he can squeeze his way into Williams next year. If I were them, I'd consider it a bit premature to take on Kubica and I think Palmer's recent experience in F1 racing (not just testing) should edge him over di Resta. If Ericsson doesn't retain his Sauber drive next season (I hear Ferrari as part of the engine deal, one of Giovinazzi and Leclerc will have a seat there, but they are trying to push for both), I can't see Williams taking him on unless they really need the cash injection.

Formula One- 2017 Season
I think Palmer's safe till the end of the season, he seems to be in the running for Williams' second seat next year (as well as Kubica and di Resta). Failing that he could possibly move to Sauber (I don't think they've confirmed either Wehrlein or Ericsson for next year yet - I wouldn't be surprised if Ericsson was culled, though I'd imagine he brings in a fair wedge). I really do hope he can get a deal for next year, as I do like the chap and want to see more from him!

Cassettes
Not sure about the vinyl #1, but they definitely got the year end and weekly cassette #1! I didn't make it to Chepstow, though I hear the set list was virtually the same as the ABE tour sets. I'm gonna order tickets for The Best Of tour tomorrow though, hope to hear some different tracks thrown in!

UK Ratings Discussion Thread 2017
Ouch, not even 1m viewers for the BB finale, that really is dire. :o I'm sure CBB will do better, people normally get on board with it (probably due to its shorter duration, I guess).

Singles chart - Pace v Accuracy?
I was thinking 0.1 of a sale for each stream, but capping it at no more than 10 per song over a lifetime period! Oh well, it's merely wishful thinking on my part lol.

Singles chart - Pace v Accuracy?
That's exactly what I was trying to explain. I don't think it would make the chart a mockery, for years people have purchased songs (equating to the chart entry sale) and then no further repeated plays have contributed to the chart. I think 10 listens is more than enough to judge it off, it shows that whoever is listening to it likes it enough to contribute a sale, it would speed up the chart and newer tracks would get their time to shine without the ridiculous farcical artificial drops that happen when a record gets put onto ACR (i.e. 'We automatically deem a song as less popular once it's hit 10 chart week', at least this method would have some logic behind it!)
