Finally got around to listening to the SF2 DNQs and for all the chat about the wrong songs in SF1 making the final, there were 7 songs that DNQed from SF2 would have liked in the final x All of these would have been in contention for votes if I was in that semi: Cor Lupus: Magdalene - DJesus Lotunia: Lauren Sanderson - IDC AT ALL Flynnonda: ALT BLK ERA - Tissues Abandoned: Montaigne - it's all about the money A-Konohagakure: El Cuarteto De Nos - En El Cuarto De Nico Deandria: Project Pitchfork - Timekiller Altyr Muunilinst: Haute & Freddy - Dance The Pain Away Lookylion: Willa Ford - Love4Life Greenfroze: dodree - Just Like A Dream Summericia: Kontravoid - Losing Game (feat. Chelsey Crowley) Ennea: Jelusick - Died Persephonia: Band Of Horses - (Biding Time Is A) Boat To Row FSR Rontvia: Niteworks - John Riley (feat. Beth Malcolm) Ben's Sanctuary: Kylie + Garibay - Black And White (feat. Shaggy) Fljótavík: GERD - Hurts FARC: A Thousand Mad Things - Wide Awake Trifoski: Lip Critic - Legs In A Snare Scotland 2: Smerz - You got time and I got money Kluminican Republic: Maya J'an - cul-de-sac I didn't like Jadakissnia's song much, and Zephyr's song was completely not for me 😔 Sorry! Italics received votes from me in the final, so would Persephonia and Ronvia likely have been squeezed out by 5(?) of these DNQs (good news for you, at least!). There is no way my Top 4 DNQs would have missed out on final votes either - I think I would have given Lotunia another medal! - so Land of DW and Summercia would have also certainly been squeezed out of my Final votes 😮

I actually don't think I've heard the original 🫣 The song will take some warming to...

I haven't watched them all, but 'My System' and 'Iconic' were both fantastic performances! I'm sure 'My System' will do great in Vienna (even if the other would have been more iconic, in my eyes 🙈)

I'm genuinely really loving this song (unsurprisingly, it's Delta) and it's putting me in a hard place as to wether I watch the contest or not 😭😭 I won't be watching it live, either way...

Pleasing to receive 123 points, despite being 33rd. *.* Thanks to all my voters, in particular Lotunia for a 100% medal total since my return! @NocheLuna I voted for a winner but not much else in the Top 10 oops 🙈 Some great pop was sent this month!

@Cody Rozanov , I knew there was another pop hoe left! Thanks! It edged out the unlisted commiserations due to how unique I felt it was. Good entry! And thanks for the first points from you! I did recycle one of your entrants though, so our tastes can definitely align (it's clearly just super rare 🤣)

Top 41 or 42nd with nil points for Juranabaijan plz

Half my faves are in that bottom 12 oops 🤣

A million percent this. It really doesn't sound like the flop I thought it sounded like!

I support the motion!

Eeeek, with this month's predix, I'm bracing myself for a flop 🤣 Saying that, I wasn't even comfortable on qualifying so who knows. If I was to choose something I expect to win based on me liking it and something I expect to do based on me being less of a fan (but seeing some appeal), in no particular order I would go with: Hendinia or Cop Lupus Take this with a pinch of salt as I did not expect most of last month's Top 10 to be there 🤣 A song I vocally didn't understand the appeal of was one of those! 🙈🙈

Votes submitted!

My votes are coming just gotta finalise my Top 15 order. Are you ok if I just send the big standard list tonight and then add text to include in the comments tomorrow @Sabrewulf ?

+1 They've all been listened to, at least. Didn't forget Spodic either!

Well this has last place written all over it... With the right staging, which it probably won't get (unless there are some really good on screen graphics I guess...), I could have seen this doing a Konstrakta or Hatari! From what I've seen, his performance style doesn't lend itself well to anything other than a YouTube video other (granted, that's only a couple of vids)... In its favour, it is VERY instant! Props the beeb for taking a risk though!

I still need to listen to about 8 more songs and relisten oops. Everyone that said SF1 was the pop semi lied! Half of the SF2 qualifiers feel poppier than most of my semi 🤣

Well I'm currently at the London Palladium seeing Lola Young, and none other than Sofia and the Antoinettes is supporting!

There seems to be lots of people vocal on Tiktok about wanting a Saturdays reunion, with a couple of the girls interacting with the videos (pretty sure Mollie commented on one saying she'll have a word with the girls)... Maybe a reunion of some description will happen in the next couple of years? Saying that, this is The Saturdays we're talking about, and they were infamous for booking holidays over release weeks... So it probably won't happen 🤣

Surprised Feeder are still above Jade (assuming Jade is still streaming reasonably well!). I guess it does have a few formats and is actively being posted about on their socials! Shame (but unsurprising) that neither will cling into Top 40. I expect their order will reverse by Friday with the estimated missing streams!

Hoppers has had Lizard hype for the best part of the last year. I'm struggling to see how it won't easily be Pixar's biggest original release in ages!

Two albums I bought this week are touch and go for Top 40! I doubt either will hang on though (Feeder and Jade) Either way, I won't be too disappointed as I expected Feeder would be a little lower than they are at this point, and Jade has already had a few weeks in the Top 40!

Song is called 'Eins Zwei Drei' (that's 'one two three', if you're German!) and is out on Friday! Interesting that our entry has a German title, at least!
