I think it's nice for it to feel complete though! I always used to stick the stickers onto my CD jewel cases too!

Just curious what everyone does with any hype stickers that are stuck to the polythene... I store my vinyl in protective outer sleeves and stick the hype sticker on there. I feel like the sticker is part of the packaging and like to preserve it where possible! I'd imagine keeping it would also help with resale value if I ever felt like selling it too (if only as an indicator that the record is well looked after!)

Another two variants available to preorder... The Lawyer (Aqua Blue 7") The Plumber (Blue / White Swirl 7") The Private Investigator (Silver 7") The Construction Worker (Neon Orange 7") All with the same tracklist! A side: The Giver B side: Fix It In The Morning (Demo)
  4. Was just about to mention the cassette prices. I haven't bought any of them because of the price... I can't think of a world where a cassette should be more expensive than a CD and the same price as a vinyl 😂 The vinyl, however, is reasonably priced. So I'll stick to only the vinyl again! Great artwork 😍
  5. If it's clearly described as such (and an order update is communicated when the details are finalised), I don't see how that would be an issue personally. In my view, it's similar to tours where you don't know what they'll perform or wear, but you're buying a ticket regardless! Same goes for kickstarter campaigns etc... People can then decide if they want to order it based on how much or little information is currently available... But it makes sense not to, if other artists have run into trouble... The issue there lies with consumers not paying attention to what they've ordered. Lol
  6. On top of what I said in the 'FUFN' thread... It's not a bad shout waiting for the BRITs effect to die down to launch FUFN. However... Not having an album announcement or preorder up to hook in the casuals is just C R A Z Y. There is almost zero chance of the album being shelved (following a BRIT win and that performance), if you want as many people to buy the album in this day and age, you need to make it easy for casual fans to find when it's on their mind. The performance will be long overshadowed by something else by the time a preorder is up - even the morning after is too late, really. Album artwork/title/tracklisting/precise formats not ready? Who gives a flying f****... You don't even need that for a webstore pre-order: "Standard Vinyl" / "Standard CD" / "Standard Cassette" "Artwork being finalised" "Title TBC" "Tracklist to be revealed" "Debut album by JADE, featuring the SMASH HIT 'Angel Of My Dreams', performed at the 2025 BRIT awards!" "Release date 16/05/2025" These can ALL be updated/added as and when the time comes... Release dates don't really matter in the grand scheme of things. RCA really are useless. 🤣 * It's not like anyone that does care even has the option to order as it stands, so they wouldn't exactly be losing out!
  7. Finally had a chance to watch this performance... OH. MY. GOD. It was EVERYTHING. One of the best TV performances I can recall seeing. She is a STAR.
  8. To be fair, I see the logic in waiting until the BRITs storm has died down for a proper announcement/release! I'm not in any danger of getting bored of it, either way: this song is the epitome of my favourite songs ever, and (at the grand old age of 34) I can be certain this is going to be on high rotation in my ears for the rest of my life! I'm not even being hyperbolic here 🙈

I hope I like the full thing... I'm not loving the clip that was teased on tiktok... I'm glad it doesn't sound like more of the last album... But I wouldn't have been sad at that either 😂
  10. I haven't gone overboard... This is the first Gaga album I've bought since Born This Way though (and the first on vinyl!) I was torn between the hot pink and the 180g... In the end I settled on the hot pink as I actually like the artwork on that one (despite the 180g having a bonus track and heavyweightness).
  11. Ok I need this released now plz Thirlwall. I just want it in my apple music library so badly and refuse to download it so have to go to the sketchy website when I can listen to it whenever I want to listen to hear it
  12. I can't see one. Did you mean for The Giver? (I can see another one up for pre-order for that!)
  13. This has the same replay value I felt with Angel and Fantasy... I didn't quite hit that level with the other two (don't get me wrong, I've played them both ALOT... But I immediately want to go back to this and have it stuck in my head constantly...)
  14. I haven't listened to any of the other tracks from the leak, but this song makes it 5/5 for me now! It's definitely the most conventional pop song of the lot, but it's a banger. It's difficult to predict what will be a hit or not these days, but I'd be shocked if this wasn't (at least) bigger than 'Fantasy'!
  15. After listening to this this morning (and a half asleep skim through the song last night) this pretty much sums up my feelings towards this*. In its current form, it's just a bit nondescript... The production lacks any kind of get up and go, which could probably be partly forgiven if Perrie's vocals were on point - to me really feels like the adlibs that were added to 'You Go Your Way' should have gone towards the end of this one. 😂 It just very much has a feel of not being the final version; with a good amount of steering/tweaking, it has the potential to Perrie's 'Fantasy' (obvz Mariah's, not JADE's...)! * I've striked through the bits I don't agree with: it's not my favourite one she's released yet, and I don't think it would ever be completely for me, even if it did feel like it was the final version... So far, for me, I would rank the tracks: The Good 01 | Christmas Magic (9/10 - all the effort was placed into this!) The Decent 02 | You Go Your Way (7/10 - catchy and fun, but it gets repetitive waaaay before it finishes!) 03 | Forget About Us (7/10 - feels the most unjustly criticised to me, I think it's a good song - maybe not solo-launchpad quality though!) The Salvageable (both of these feel unfinished, but they have qualities somewhere...) 04 | Me, Myself & You (5/10) 05 | Rollercoaster (4/10) The Dreadful 06 | Tears (1/10 - I can't see how any amount of tweaking would make this song any good: I wouldn't have even made it a B-side, and scrapped it before anyone had a chance to hear it, let alone made it a single! 🙈 [Sorry if you ever read this Perrie! This one's just not for me... 🙈])

I think it's literally just been removed! I read this, checked, and the artwork was there and with no tracklisting. I then re-searched and it was gone!
  17. On first listen... This is entirely forgettable. Will see if it grabs me on further listens...
  18. The point is that's literally the only difference. I am very aware that I can just buy one, but they know that the majority of fans buying one will get both (hence putting it up as a bundle that doesn't impact the cost at all, as they don't feel they need to offer an incentive), and have done the bare minimum to differentiate the variants. I dunno... It feels like they're doing it to prey on collectors rather than to provide separate entities of art. The point I was making is that if they aren't going to offer an alternative tracklist, I would expect the artwork and vinyl colour to be unique as a minimum... ("They" being BMG of course)
  19. I would say I agree with you, but I don't have a leg to stand on as I by every variant of my fave's albums (usually 3 or 4 vinyl, a CD, and a couple of cassettes)... But 20 quid for two vinyl that have an identical tracklisting, plus that insane postage cost (which could definitely be half what it is) is taking the piss 😂 They've done a run of 2000: I wonder if that's roughly what the last few sold and they just thought "they're all gonna buy both anyway, no need to bother changing the artwork or tracklisting 🤷‍♂️". I mean... Not even inverting the colours on the artwork?! At least if there was a cassette, it's a different format.

The second only took so long due to the writer strikes, I believe! This remains one of my favourite shows I've ever seen. I just love it, it's so gripping!
  21. I was listening to this song this morning and it occurred to me that I don't think I've ever heard about anyone irl who has even heard it when I play it! Still gutted this song got precisely zero airplay, relying solely on an x factor performance to chart... I know bubblegum pop really wasn't in vogue at that point (outside of High School Musical, which was already on its last legs by then anyway), but it really is a PERFECT pop song and deserves to be a modern classic! 😍 Their debut album was mostly solid, even if half of it were cheaply produced covers, but there were a couple of other great tracks on "Pop" too ('All the Roads Last to Heaven', in particular). And, after Syco dropped them, they followed it with their mostly FANTASTIC second album - "The Rest Is History" - which was completely slept on, of course... (not releasing 'Karma Karma' as the lead single remains such a misfire... Though I would have eaten my foot if anything gained any traction at that point. 🤣)
  22. Disease really is the full package for me, and Abracadabra is probably marginally behind. I'll listen to Die With a Smile if it comes on, but it's not really for me. 1) Disease 2) Abracadabra 3) Die With a Smile
  23. I think I can see why that might be, actually... 'Disease' was very classic Gaga with a light touch of updating (which I'm not sad about, and personally love). I think that sound just isn't mainstream anymore... 'Abracadabra' doesn't feel a million miles away from 'Rain On Me' (the production in the chorus, I'm thinking about), but also has a sort of 'brat' edge (which was influenced by some mid-00s stuff) to bring it in line with what's current. Dunno, I think it has a familiarity to what's around at the moment that might work in its favour! Essentially, 'Disease' is pure nostalgia - so fits with a niche who craves that - and 'Abracadabra' is nostalgia influenced - so will sit more comfortably with what people are currently hearing!
  24. I now know. The chorus is an earworm... I love the bridge too! The verses get swamped a little by the bridge and chorus, but I'm sure their time will come! Loving. It. (not sure it'll reach 'Disease' levels for me, but I'd take this over 'Die With a Smile' any day!)
  25. 'Disease' hit me instantly. I'm liking this on first listen, am I loving it? I don't know... Will have to see! The production is great, but it feels a bit too chaotic for me to work my way through (I'm sure I'll get there soon enough though!)
