Annoyingly so. As long as she says she identifies as lesbian, we should assume that they've just hit it off as close friends. I know plenty of people that act like that around friends they're not in a relationship with (particularly where one is gay and the other straight)... On top of that, not a single one of us know the boundaries of Jojo's relationship... It's literally none of our business unless her partner comes out saying she's not comfortable with it. 😂

I used to do that with my CDs, the thought now horrifies me 😭😭 I don't plan on selling up either, but you never know! And I now worry about damaging the covers they're in as I think they're usually really nice!

The only one of those I have is "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess"! On a side note (and not wanting to take traffic away from this forum... 🙈), would this thread not be better placed in The Music Lounge? Most of the discussion in here feels like it relates to current music rather than 20th Century stuff!

It sounds nice? I'll give it a few more listens to see if it grows. 'Jungle' is definitely right up my street, but this is a good contrast to that, so I'm sure it will!

I always felt like intro to Athlete 'Half Light' and Scouting For Girls 'This Ain't A Love Song' sound very similar (and I think there's a few other songs that sounds very similar at the intro too, but I can't recall them...). Lisa Scott-Lee 'Lately' & Dua Lipa 'Hallucinate' too!

Hopefully you'll be alright! (and sorry if I didn't help with that, I was honestly such a mess earlier!) We've never had anything like this happen before, so god knows what triggered it!

Like, it's frustrating enough as it is, but to already have tickets in the presale and for them to be cancelled just before general sale (the reason given being "we were unable to verify aspects of the transaction" and nothing else of note, other than a refund will be processed) is just insane. I could understand if I had ordered 20 tickets. But it was only 2... Thankfully, husband has come to the rescue (AGAIN!). Slightly better seats have been booked for the Tuesday instead! I'm still complaining to AXS though as this is all their fault! "Are you a real fan?!". Yes. Would you like me to send a photo of me with my vinyl and the receipt? 🤣

Actually furious. Our tickets (a whole TWO) were cancelled and refunded this morning. If I was a bot, I would not be ordering only 2 tickets. And the general sale keeps kicking me out for "not being a real fan" despite having only 1 tab open, a clear cache, and being on 5G (so the only one on my network). Give up. AXS will be getting a complaint. Lol

What do you mean by too early for pre-orders? Surely the longer the lead-in the better? I can't see any point at all in having the album finalised (artwork, tracklisting, variants, production dates, distribution etc) and not having it avaliable for people to place an order... There's no way you're gonna lose sales with a longer pre-order but if someone hears, let's say 'FUFN', on the radio and wants to order the album but can't and then forgets to order it after then, that's a potentially sale lost forever!

In the end I had to settle for cheapish seats on the Saturday date! No complaints though, I spent nearly 2 hours trying to get tickets for the original dates to no avail So excited: I've never seen her live and "MAYHEM" is already my second favourite gaga album, so what perfect timing to see her!

It's ok, I'm just struggling to find a hook in the production... That said, I'm happy she's not abandoning the disco route after the album preorder seems to have vanished! Definitely a step down compared to 'Freedom Of The Night', but I'm sure this'll grow!

Genuinely, I haven't noticed a notably different experience being in an arena vs a stadium. Arenas are not intimate settings as most are so big (especially the O2 and Co-op at around 20k capacity) that it takes any intimacy away. Acadamies and smaller are where there is a notable difference. Standing vs seated is where the experience changes. And you get the option of both at both arenas and stadiums (again, generally you can barely see the stage in a seated arena spot, same as a stadium lol). I'm not a fan of floor seating, it's the biggest atmosphere sapper imo (theatres with permanent seats fall victim to this) - there should always be an accessible section regardless though. In my view, opting for arenas over stadiums just means less fans get the chance to see you. And I wouldn't be surprised if the reason arenas have been booked is because the stadiums worth booking were already booked over the summer...

I feel like Spotify should really make more of an effort to promote HHUK AND ensure more UK artists are on it. Apple Music seem far better at this, so why Spotify are so rubbish at this... Could it be that people default to TTH over HHUK because the playlists became too similar (I could be miles off because I don't know what's on either playlist...). I assume the 35m saves on TTH are worldwide, or am I wrong there? It just feels like something could be done from Spotify's end to help break UK (or emerging artists in general) better...

Growing up, Jordan was always one of my favourite teams: EJ was such a character and that translated into how unique his team felt! One of the last underdog success stories (coming 3rd place in the 1999 constructors and Frentzen being not a million miles from the drivers title!) RIP Eddie!

The label have lost their faith... It's an uphill battle for her sadly. She's hasn't got on any of the necessary Spotify playlists since The Motto and I can't see that changing, especially with Cirkut no longer producing for her...
