A fourth to put their hat in the ring here! I used to look at the reports that are released on bfi each Wednesday, but your commentary goes into so much depth and you normally post it on the Monday too (2 days in advance!). Thank you for posting these, I really enjoy reading them and will try to reply more! Great figure for Wicked! That's gonna be popular HUGE!
  2. Doesn't she like high key despise 'I Won't Change You'? I'll eat my foot of that gets performed πŸ™ˆ

To be honest, they are correct. Chappell Roan deserves to be the sound of 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, and every year for eternity, based on only 'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess' and 'Good Luck, Babe!'! πŸ˜‚
  4. I went to this (as I've pretty well documented now πŸ˜‚), very excited to see this on TV! I feel I should get the LP for the same reason, though live tracks are really not my thing unless I'm there... So I'm torn. πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ On a side note, would it be possible to get the posts related to this merged into this thread from the tour thread? (I'll leave it down to the mods of course, and I can definitely appreciate that it might be time consuming and not worth it so I won't complain if they're not moved over!)
  5. Just got my dispatch email for the 7". Wonder if that means this will count towards this week or next week (I guess it's been sent with the intention to receive it for the release date?)
  6. Also opens up the potential for more drivers attempting the triple crown if they're able to do Monaco and Indy in the same year! Alonso had to miss out on a Monaco GP to do Indy one year! (of course, most drivers would only miss out on a grand prix if they already have 2 of the 3 but you never know!)
  7. The clip sounds very 'Underneath the Tree'*, and that's normally my favourite type of Christmas song! Looking forward to hearing this tomorrow and echo the comments above that it sounds like it could be her best yet oop * Upbeat and maximalist: basically Christmas presented as a song... I'm not saying that it sounds like a carbon copy or anything! πŸ˜‚ Though, saying this, I preferred 'One More Sleep' from the 2013 Christmas battle. πŸ™ˆ
  8. Seems odd not to include Band Aid II on the tracklisting. I know it's probably the least well loved/well remembered one, but they put it on 30's CD (and it's not exactly gonna detract from the appeal to buy the single [it would increase it, if anything...]). I was gonna say it wasn't on streaming (I used to check Apple Music every year, but haven't in a few), but it's on streaming now, at least. πŸ˜‚
  9. For me, consistency is the key. So, unless an artist goes for an actual stage name change, I will always prefer what they first chose! Charli XCX > Charli xcx Linkin Park > LINKIN PARK Panic! at the Disco > Panic at the Disco (they made a whole thing about dropping the exclamation mark from their name for the second album, only to bring it back from the next album onwards!) Though, in general, I'm not a big fan of stylised stage names (or song titles, except got eye it's for effect [i.e. to signify SHOUTING]): I much prefer title case. And although "XCX" isn't an acronym, it's pronounced as if it is, so that's more reason for me to keep it capitalised. I apparently have lots of opinions on this... πŸ˜‚ I dislike it more when artists change the name/formatting of song titles once a studio version has been released though... Ultimately, it's the artist's decision and I will use what they choose. I just find it jarring. πŸ™ˆ
  10. Doing decently on Apple (#144), as lots of songs are on ACR that probably pushes it closer to the Top 60/70. It's 43 on Today's Hits, so maybe that's helping? No idea how it's performing elsewhere, maybe it'll become a hit in the new year?
  11. So I am now diseased. 11/10.
  12. This video is life. Honestly, this is all I want from you Sophie. Less Hana, more disco plz.
  13. I'm gonna go (apparently against the grain) with #1! Potentially even a #1 debut. I don't know why, but I can see it going in at #1 on Spotify, and #8 AM this soon seems very strong! Maybe I'm delulu idk, but I'm gonna be optimistic here!
  14. Omg I just can't at them painting Kween as if she'd been some kind of saint for the whole season in this episode. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I'd argue that Kween performed the best this season. But Nelly ran her VERY close, and baring in mind there is a language barrier there for her, I'd say Nelly deserved to win the season (imo). Kitty did well, but I'd have Vanity seriously did not lose that lipsync (and really shouldn't have needed to lipsync as often as she did...). I'd have had a Kween, Nelly, Tessa, Vanity final personally...
  15. The pre-order states that it's a return to her disco-pop sound! Great news!
  16. Fantasy is fantastic! My Love is a decent song, but I haven't really gone back to it much since day 1 really. I didn't think Bad Thing was up to much when I listened to is (though that was an age ago). Tears is just really bad... Fantasy >> My Love >>>>>>> Bad Thing >>>>>>>> Tears
  17. +5 Bianca Del Rio +4 Jinkx Monsoon +3 Bimini Bon-Boulash +2 BenDeLaCreme +1 Priyanka -1 Jimbo -2 Katya -3 Bob the Drag Queen -4 Tatianna -5 Crystal Methyd None of these deserve minus points though
  18. I'd like this to leave my brain please. I need to prioritise Fantasy this week. πŸ˜‚ RosΓ©'s first verse is definitely giving me That's Not My Name... The bridge is definitely giving Runaway Baby... And I can definitely hear Can We Dance in the chorus (and the instrumental beind the chorus too). Loving it!
  19. Those performances were all I needed in life. If Fantasy doesn't smash I will NOT be happy.
  20. Well I'm on my 6th listen on AM today, so it better show up soon 😑
  21. Yeah, I was so shocked that The husband was sad at Highlights for me were And yeah, it did make me laugh how literally everyone was recording. πŸ˜‚
  22. This feels kinda 'Hypnotized: Part 2' to me. It gives me the same sort of feel, even if the production isn't identical. This and that are my faves since the Make a Scene era for me, so I see where Jessie Where is coming from! If you're not a fan of non-pop Sophie, you really do have to go back that far as Come With Us is the only other song that even vaguely meets that criteria!
  23. Waiting for the encore. This set is special! (and is going to be televised, which I'm nervous about because a cameraperson recorded me for a while omg *cue not making the cut*)
