Welcome so much to the final stage of The Unknown Pleasures IX – the fantastic, almighty, ground shaking, nail biting, hair ripping, arm waving and fabulously amazing results! The time has finally come and I have indeed prepared almost everything for tonight. And these aren’t just any results show.. no it isn’t! As I have some special treats for you all! There are some additional, interesting, stimulating, fun, good looking and creative features embedded in tonight’s show! Allow me to explain: 1. First of all. The reason I’m opening this thread so early is to make some discussion before I begin. Also because I have some questions for you to answer. In addition to the results from the voting, there is another scoreboard dedicated to guessing what you think others have sent. You’ll get one point for each correct guess, and at the end of the results I will reveal the winner of that as well! :D Just give it a shot, even if you’re unsure. You may just be right! (Limited to two guesses each person each time.) 2. I have been working on something for this that has taken me a great deal of time to create. I know it's possible, but I would very much like to experience the semi final results of BJSC too, and Tom did say he'd prefer to do his results tomorrow. I don't mind doing mine tonight or on tuesday, though, I just don't want them at the same time.

When I said his votes doesn't change the winner, that could be because he voted for the winner (and further increasing the gap between that and the others close to it), but it could also mean that his voted for songs doesn't reach up to the first place even with his votes! :D

Oh no, is it? :o *checks* "by Sunday 13 May at 11:59am. The results show will be broadcast the same or the following evening" Has he said anything about which evening yet? Because if it is tonight, then I can postpone my own results? I think it would be best if our results were at different times, and tbh I really want to listen to his results show as well.

Whoops! :heehee: I probably gave a bit away, but not too much apparently :D This is taking me a lot longer than I anticipated, mostly due to me wanting to be a bit creative again (:D).. but I will try to get everything set up before 9 PM - so stick with that. 9 PM! :cheer:

I know I can easily accept the votes without a deduction, but just because I can does that mean I should do it? I feel it's mostly a matter of principle; it's in the rules, I stated it in the opening post - voting after the deadline will give you a deduction, simple as that. Tyron knows this well from the moment he confirmed a song, and there were only two people that failed to make the deadline in time. Everyone else got the message and voted before the deadline. It doesn't messes with my preparations, and his deduction only makes him fall four places on the scoreboard and his votes doesn't change the winner as well. So I don't see the problem with the penalty, it is justified.

Hmm... I don't know about that :( Because I didn't say anything about an end of the weekend deadline (you should've made sure :drama:), and it wouldn't be completely fair given you've had quite a long time to vote + the two extra days. I'll accept your votes, but you are getting a deduction.

Alright, then. But how about if they vote some time early tomorrow. Should I count their votes, but still give them a deduction? :unsure:

The deadline is over, and two people didn't vote: Messiah & Horatio Given I gave an extension I'm inclined to give them a points deduction, but I don't know if I should count their votes as well if they do vote before the results take place. What do you guys think? Should I? I agree, it's quite difficult, but that's what guessing and discussions are for :D Besides it will get easier the more people I reveal.
