SUPER EUROVISION '12 // 2003
This has been a great opportunity for me to re-listen to my ESC 2003 album, I have it in front of me right now in fact :D Aahh, it's feels so good listening to Sanomi and Vise Nisam Tvoja again. There are so many songs I liked this year! The only songs I didn't like was Estonia and that terrible Austria! :( Edit: Actually, scrap that. I thought Austria was different and interesting. I just don't like listening to it.

Freeze - Presenting my first EOY Chart!
My 100 favourite musical creations of 2011! I have been aware for some time that people have an EOY chart, but I haven’t had my own weekly personal charts long enough to be able to actually make one. The year of 2011 is the first year where I’ve had a complete set of personal charts from the very beginning in January. In addition to my weekly chart, I also have an alphabetical archive list of every artist and song ever charting for me, and these 100 tracks and their artistic creators are based on chart points accumulated throughout the year. I have 20 songs charting each week, with number 20 gaining 1 point all the way up to number 1 gaining all 20 points! In 2011 I’ve been paying much more attention to the world of music than ever before, through other people’s personal charts, BJSC, ESC, MGP, 10 main music blogs and 70 other music blogs I'm checking up on from time to time. In addition I'm currently subscribing to around 90 different music channels via my youtube channel. I tend to search in several ways on youtube other than that, though, and sometimes I look at international charts around the world. I’m also participating in 3 other different online music contests! So I do strive to have 100% discovery possibilities as I really don't want to miss out on anything listening worthy  In 2010 I started compiling my personal charts in April, and to give you something interesting to look at before I post the official EOY chart of 2011, this is my top 22 favourite songs of 2010! There were 406 different songs charting in my personal charts that entire year, and to give you some perspective there were 455 songs charting for me in 2011. There are also big differences in both years when it comes to how many Chart Points, or Year points the top songs accumulated. Take a look! TOP 22 songs of 2010! (EOY Chart #/Acts/Song title/Chart run/Year points) 1. Diagram of The Heart - Dead famous - / # 1 - # 1 - # 1 - # 3 - # 2 - # 4 - # 1 / - 134 Points 2. Kylie Minogue - Better than today - / # 7 - # 7 - # 1 / - 48 Points ------------- I know to some of you who usually chart your favourite songs for more than 10 weeks etc, this might not seem impressive to you, but it most certainly is to me! My chart is generally unpredictable and continuously changing, but I have a LOT of music I feel like listening to, and even if a top 10 song drops out after two or even one week it doesn't mean I don't like it anymore or that I've grown tired of it, I'm just happy that it made the top 10 in the first place as I enjoyed it enough for it to chart there that week. And BECAUSE there's so much I'd very much like to listen to, I find it right to purely dedicate my listening time in one week to 20 songs. It's the same thing with a number one song; I've REALLY enjoyed that song, and dedicated a lot of time listening to it for a whole week, so that genuinely means something to me! It's just almost too many songs in addition that I want to listen to so naturally there will be many changes/some unpredictable changes every know and then. This may be a bit late in presenting, but I don't think it matters as long as I do it early in the year. Also, it is a big project after all! :D It will be here for a very long time, and I hope someone finds an interest in reading, though! Especially since many probably won't be familiar with a lot of the songs I chart, there could be potential discoveries to obtain here ^_^ I will begin the top 100 list of 2011 when I've found the time to write something about each track and then I am going to reveal 10 songs all the way up until I find myself on the edge of my top 10 songs where I'll probably reveal one song every time and write a little extra about each of the respective songs. Comments and/or predictions are very welcome!

Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2012
I just listened to Ditte Marie - Overflow and I think it's AMAZING. How could that not win? Well, I haven't heard the winner yet, but it's so perfect pop!

Greenfroze - The national thread
It's possible to apply for money through the foundation, although it's initially handed out to entire countries or groups of people who needs it THE MOST. The head of the foundation fears Queen China is just going to spend the money on nature destroying transportation or animal tested lipsticks. In other news, I've updatet the opening post with a lot of interesting information! :cheer:

Greenfroze - The national thread
100% Rachel Platten in BJSC XL and The Green Colour Festival! The entire nation celebrated the event of Rachel Plattens' acchievement by parading the streets waving their flags, by singing and playing '1000 ships' everywhere. The presidential king was so happy about Rachels' win that he personally financed a statue of her in the heart of Green Forest. He also awarded Rachel with her own green house in the Green Forest suburbans. In addition to this, the presidential king of Greenfroze announced the birth of The Rachel Platten Foundation and asked the people of Greenfroze to give a little money each to the pot. The money from the foundation is dedicated to helping the poor all over the world. The king also proclaimed: "Something special happened that contest. Rachel Platten not only won BJSC, the biggest music contest in the world. She won for every single person in Greenfroze. She proved the existence of our ever beating musical heart, and she confirmed the strength of our life enhancing musical campaign of pure discoveries. I announce this day to be the day of the Green Colour Festival. Let this day be the day were we celebrate people, love, peace, happiness and respect. And let this be the day were we celebrate eternal musical life." Some pictures taken from The Green Colour Festival Parade in honour of Rachel Platten can be seen belove! http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/GreenColourFestival.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/Festival.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/Greenpeople.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/Greendog.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/GreenColourFestival3.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/Greenballoonsandpeopleatthefestival.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/GreenballoonsinGreenForestCity.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/PeopleattheGreenColourFestivalParade.jpg http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Greenfroze/Greenfullpeople.jpg [source: Think Green!] http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/Thinkgreen.jpg

SUPER EUROVISION '12 // 2003
I need to vote in this too! 2003 is one of my favourite years in Eurovison, and like Jerick, the first contest I started to watch Eurovison. That year made me loony

Melodi Grand Prix 2012
Seems like Plumbo is the only act out of SF2 to do well in the charts. They're #5 on Platekompaniet, #25 on iTunes and #15 on VG-lista. Can't see anyone else, sadly :(
-
Melodi Grand Prix 2012
That was initially the plan, but now, the 10th finalist is being chosen by a secret jury, so it could be practically anyone! Either way I'm even more optimistic for Minnie-Oh in light of this :D

BJSC XLI: Predictions
You don't think CrhIseland and Hendinia will qualify? :o
-
Melodi Grand Prix 2012
Indeed, she has a lot of competence and experience ^_^ I have the MGP album, but I usually wait to hear the songs in every semi final as it makes things so much more exciting! But if Sailors is anything along the lines of Red hot, it definitely seems like it would stand out if she actually won. In a good way though I hope!

Melodi Grand Prix 2012
She used to be big, way back in 2000 when she was the lead singer of a band called Briskeby. was their biggest hit, which did well in Europe too. It's been so long, and since she is a solo artist now it's almost like starting all over again with the audience. She has a lot of potential to be big again on her own, but Lise Karlsnes hasn't properly introuced herself yet. Participating in MGP will definitely change that, though. I hope people see her decent qualities and like what is surely set to be an amazing song!

Melodi Grand Prix 2012
I didn't think of that. You're absolutely right, Plumbo is much bigger than Publiners it seems, and with all this discussion going around because of this "Mokkamenn" thing makes a great deal of publicity for them as well. IF they ever managed to win (which would be awful :drama: ) it would be much better in english, in theory, but how someone is ever able to translate "Ola Nordmann" is beyond even me  I don't think it would be the same, though, as they are very norwegian all together and the norwegian language comes with the package. It probably wouldn't feel right.
-
Melodi Grand Prix 2012
Ooh wow, this should be something for my tastes  I've read some discussion on a norwegian MGP forum and as there are fans of Plumbo, there are equally as many who feel they shouldn't win at all as they can already tell it would fail badly at Eurovison. Publiners didn't win, but did good - so let's just hope people think more thoroughly before they vote in the final and keep Plumbo from winning. I mean, I do enjoy the song, but sending them to Eurovison? I would rather have The Carburetors winning, tbh :drama:
-
Melodi Grand Prix 2012
I'm very excited to hear Lise Karlsnes' song! If it's as good as people say in here, then I'm most definitely in for a treat as I loved Red hot
-
Melodi Grand Prix 2012
Exactly :drama: I'm very afraid of Plumbo in that sense, as they're practically singing "I love Norway" with everything about their sound and lyrics, which is obviously quite appealing to the norwegian people - and most them tend to vote with their heart and usually don't think about what could do well in ESC. What is this Tooji? Is their song really that good? Tell me about it  What makes you say it could win?

BJSC XLI - IN GREENFROZE - THE SEMI FINALS!
Hey! I have never heard of it, and I absolutely LOVE it! So thank you so much for sending it

Melodi Grand Prix 2012
Reidun third place, The Carburetors second and Nora first :)
-
Melodi Grand Prix 2012
:P Well.. I'm not sure I remember why they choose to do it like that this year, but I don't think transparency is ruining anything in the final, though. In the past; songs can come from Siste sjansen and still go quite good in the final! I'm now trying to get hopeful that Minnie-Oh is chosen as the Wild Card! She must be!
-
Melodi Grand Prix 2012
From what she has said herself in interviews, she makes her own clothes and stuff, and has decided close to everything about her own performance! ^_^ I really enjoyed her song, though. It got better and better as it went on, and I thought it stood out. Not only in this years MGP, but MGP in general. She should've qualified :(

Melodi Grand Prix 2012
They're actually doing it by how well they did. So Malin got 3rd place, Tommy second and plumbo first place.
