Good evening! I am going to make the final preparations after I've eaten some food ^_^ Still have a few things to do, though. I can tell you right now that I have listened to 41 songs as of yet, and I almost can't believe the high quality this time! It's so genuinely TOP NOTCH it's FREAKIN' FANTASTIC! :wub: To give you some perspective, I have never rated more songs 9/10 in a contest before now :w00t:

That's true. Two more songs than usual, but then again - 16 countries will DNQ! Do people think a final of 31 is too much?

Haha, you're right! I was definitely inspired by your selection process :kink: But I've already made most of the draws and they look great, so I don't think it's fair to start it all over again. Besides I don't have the guts to show everyone in here a video of myself :heehee:

I am not using Random.org, so there will be no curse of this kind. Don't worry, I'm not deciding the semi finalists, it's still going to be happening through a random and fair selection process; I have written every country name on a piece of paper, put them all in a green hat, and made the draw by hand :D Semi 1 countries are then being placed in a grey hat, and the semi 2 countries in a black/blue hat. From there I draw them to choose the positions in each of the respective semi finals. I haven't selected every nation as of yet, but most of them - and it definitely seems to be two high quality, diverse and balanced semi finals! :w00t:

Tomorrow evening! :cheer: I don't know the spesific time yet, as it depends on when I'm finished with the preparations and stuff ^_^

:D I've been told New Caprica is going to confirm now, and B.a.N.G. said they would come back as well. In addition I think UnoShake, Lievant or any of Yuxaaq, Skall, Palmyra or Sangria might confirm too. I will ask them in any case just to make sure either way though.

Does anyone in here know the person behind New Caprica well enough to be able to make contact with him outside of Buzzjack? He was last online 22nd of January when he confirmed an entry which had been sent in a previous contest. Would be a shame if he missed out because of that.

I would. And not because I don't like the song, but it would be like 2010, 2004 and 2001 all over again. We need to continue being a bit different, the kind Norway is known to do from time to time, like we did with Wig Wam, Maria Haukaas, Alexander Rybak.. and well.. Stella, I guess. From what I've read in here, there seems to be some choices that would fit into this. Either way things changed a lot in 2008 for MGP, and now we still have the potential to do really good because of that. Looks amazing! Can't wait! :wub:
