2022 was the first and only year ever that I exclusively sent Japanese songs. It's also one of my most successful and most enjoyable years of entries as well. I absolutely love my 2022 songs! :wub: That being said, I have generally done very poorly in TBO contests over the years, and I didn't have high hopes this time either. If any of my entries would qualify, I reckoned it would be either 'Outsider' or 'Iceblink'. I was really hoping that they would qualify! 'Shall We Dance?', though, was one of my songs that I would NOT predict to be my only qualification here. My jaw literally dropped! I am happy, but I am really, really surprised!

Even though I'm not usually that scared of taking a risk now and then, I would be much less inclined to take risks if it almost never paid off, so it's highly encouraging to experience success when I do. Also, I think everyone I voted for qualified, which is super duper nice! :cheer:

Yes, it's my first instrumental entry. It kinda caught me by surprise, as I was actually looking for something else entirely when I found it. I decided to check it out, though, just in case I was missing something, and I'm glad I listened. It's quite beautiful.
