My God! That X Factor song is just awful. 😱 I know it's for a good cause, but really?!

I've been looking for this remix of Alicia Keys everywhere. They used to play it on the radio a lot. Same with "Unfaithful" by Rihanna. The version played on the radio sounds different to the original yet you can't find it anywhere.

It's a shame those songs don't get playlisted. They would fit in more with the KISS format.

The Script were robbed in my opinion. I agree that "All Summer Long" was an unexpected Number 1. I had never heard of Kid Rock until then, the same as millions of others in the UK. The less said about his love for Donald Trump, the better.

It's not the first time they have gone mainstream. I remember listening to KISS back in the early/mid 2000s and they were playing mostly pop during the day. I have only included the most recent songs that KISS have playlisted from 2025 onwards. They have also started playing older songs such as "HOT TO GO!" by Chappell Roan and "As It Was" by Harry Styles. I miss "The Beat of the UK" era.

I would put "With Every Heartbeat" as my personal number 1 of 2007. This song is beautiful and uplifting. I listened to this repeatedly back in the day. Robyn is an underrated artist in my opinion. That MIKA song grates on me. I hate it. 😖

I seem to remember the Freemasons Remix of 'Beautiful Liar' got a lot of airplay on the radio, probably more than the original. Beyoncé also released another single called 'Green Light' with a Freemasons Remix that was also popular.

I'm not sure. 'Ordinary' has been played a few times since yesterday.

KISS have been playing the original versions. They have even started playing "APT" and "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" and those songs are also over a year old.

I do like 'Ruby' by Kaiser Chiefs and it holds up well even today. However, my favourite from the Kaiser Chiefs has to be 'Everyday I Love You Less and Less'

I know that '500 Miles' song was for charity but you have to draw the line somewhere. The duet that Sugababes and Girls Aloud did at Comic Relief that year was better and I hated that.

Yes! Gnarls Barkley! Would have put it at Number 1 personally but Number 2 is a good position. I loved it then and I still love it now. Moody, atmospheric and such a bop. There was nothing else that sounded like it at the time. I guess that's why the song caught my attention back in 2006.

It's interesting looking back on here at older posts of the KISS playlist. They were playing more new stuff. Now, it's like a cross between Hits Radio and KISSTORY. I've also noticed that from 2020-2023, KISS was more geared towards dance music. Why mess with a formula that works?

They used to play remixes. Not so much now.

Loved 'America' by Razorlight back in the day. Beautiful song. Takes me back to more innocent times.

It seems around this time there was a trend of sampling 70s and 80s songs and putting a house beat over the top of them.
