  3. I decided to vote for 2006 because I had turned 13 then and was really into music by that stage. There was a good mixture of genres such as indie, electro, R&B and pop. She Moves in Her Own Way by The Kooks gives me fond memories of the long hot summer we had that year.
  4. I voted for 2004 as the worst year but I don't think it was terrible. There were a lot of artists I liked such as Franz Ferdinand, Keane, Kelis and Black Eyed Peas. However, there was some pure s***e from the likes of Eamon, Busted and 3 of a Kind. Not a vintage year. I still prefer it to the 2010s though.
  5. I voted for 2016. Apparently, this was the year when streaming dominated the charts and you had the same songs in the top 40 for months. I have just discovered that 'One Dance' by Drake was number 1 for 16 weeks! The song's not even that good! I also didn't like the tropical house and drill music which was everywhere during the latter half of the 2010s.
  6. I voted for 2013. I think it was probably the last good year for chart music. There were some good number 1 singles such as 'Love Me Again' by John Newman, 'La La La' by Naughty Boy and Sam Smith and 'Royals' by Lorde. Yes, there were some bad ones, but 2013 was still a decent year. The years that followed haven't matched up to that standard.

  15. I must be in a minority then because I love this song. The brass section is the cherry on top.

  20. I think it sounds lazy. It sounds like a carbon copy of '0800 HEAVEN' but with different vocals. Would be nice if producers didn't keep recycling their songs.
