You can vote here: http://www.eurovisionplattform.sf.tv/videos to choose the 10 finalist song for Switzerland in the ESC 2011. You can give 4 points, be it 1 point to 4 songs, 2 points for 2 songs, 3 points for 1 song and 1 point for another, or all 4 points to just one song.

 

The selection comes from all places including some former American Idol hopefuls and Eurovision stars like DQ (Denmark 2007), Marielle Ferré (Switzerland 1983 and 1985), TodoMondo (Romania 2007). Last year's Romanian delegate Paula Seling is also running as a songwriter for South African singer Nádine.

 

My vote goes to Portuguese singer Evelyne Filipe, who was a back-up singer in Portugal 2008, and is in the race with a song by the same authors.

The Nadine track is rather wonderful, but I think it's just ripe to do a Lose Control/La Noche Es Para Mi :(

 

With this though, I think it could go either way - it'll either leave Switzerland with their usual 17th placed finish in the semis or storm them back to the top five! Depending, of course, on how good a performer Sarah Burgess is...

Switzerland will never get it right will they. I think they're misunderstood :lol: I'd put them in my top 5 of the last 5 or 6 years for sheer quality of music, yet they never do well, and Cool Vibes deserved so much more than just 8th place...

I'm incredibly concerned that Lena will return with some crap that will trail in bottom five :lol: Oh well, the broadcaster will ensure that the show will be a shrine to her anyway so who cares!

Will she be allowed to do the opening if she's representing them? I want her too, as it usually starts with the winning song from the previous year and it would be such a shame if it didn't when I love 'Satellite' so very much, but isn't it a bit bias, if a participant does the opening?

Definitely! Lovebugs, Il Pleut de l'Or, Cool Vibes = AMAZING. Certainly Il Pleut de l'Or didn't deserve such a universal rejection this year :(

It's a pretty noticeable difference in quality! The Youtube rip of Sarah Burgess is terrible quality compared to the download - which isn't a huge size anyway.

Certainly isn't the best download site. I had to wait 60 secs for my download to start, and during that time there was an advertisement about sex or something. Would never happen on mediafire -_-
