 It was announced today that ITV are resurrecting their flop dating show, Love Island to air in the Summer. HOWEVER, this time round they will be pairing up members of the public instead of Z-list celebrities. The new series will be aired on ITV2. I didn't realise that both Alicia and Callum appeared in series 2 of Love Island!

To be fair the 'members of the public' are still likely to be Z-listers or have an association with Z-listers ie they've probably appeared on TV somewhere before or have management.

I did try to watch this but it's just awful
 And not even because of Caroline, it's just like an hour of those cringey BB love triangles and showmances nobody likes.

This is an absolute disaster, ratings have sunk to 200k
 Will it even last the series?! They might shove it to ITVBe at least. There was actually a decent amount of hype and they promoted it well, it's just that nobody gives a shit.

Danielle, who got kicked off on Thursday, did an interview with Radio Times and basically said the show is fake. She said producers would tell certain people to talk to each other and talk about certain topics. She also said that producers would tell them to say things over and over again until it was perfect.
Basically, it's another TOWIE / MIC and completely ruins the aspect of this being a "competition". Also - Daisy, Luis, Jon and Hannah all have the same management.. |

However, despite this being a complete fake piece of mess, I'm kind of enjoying it and totally rooting for Luis and Lauren and I wish Jon and Hannah would just remove themselves from this planet.
