When the lights go out we'll be safe and sound

18. We'll Be A Dream (Ft We The Kings)

Avg: 4.825 Highest Rate: 11 (Cody Slayberry), Lowest Rate: -1 (Cameron, DionTheSats123, Martyn, LeeWallace)

In last place and kicking off this countdown is "We'll Be A Dream", which is a song by American pop punk band We Are Kings and features Demi Lovato on backing vocals. The song was released in the USA on March 2010 and reached #76 on the US Top 100, becoming the band's second chart entry. It's by no means a surprise that this came last, for one thing it's not one of her most well known songs or in fact best. Despite the 1 rate of 11 by Cody Slayberry, nobody else even gave it a 10, it's 2nd highest rate was by Ryan who gave it a 8.5, but in the end it was the 4 -1 scores that brought it's average right down. By no means a terrible song, just not that great or memorable.

He makes me wanna pull all my hair out

17. Wouldn't Change A Thing (Ft Joe Jonas/Stanfour)

Avg: 5.23 Highest Rate: 8.5/8 (Cody Slayberry, Ryan, MIKEMYER, Dillan), Lowest Rate: -1/0 (Apricot, Martyn, LeeWallace)

At #17 and scoring a much higher average of 5.23 is "Wouldn't Change A Thing" taken from the Camp Rock 2 soundtrack and released as the 4th and final single in July 2010. This also marks the 2nd time Demi sung with Joe Jonas, whose previous was "This Is Me" from the first Camp Rock movie, but this didn't quite experience the same level of success by failing to dent the US Top 100 at #110, and then only making small dents in Canada and the UK. In German speaking countries another version was released featuring Demi and Stanfour which was also released in the same month and actually fared better by cracking the top 40 in both Germany and Austria. This almost finished in last place at one point, but "WBAD" scored 4 -1's in the end which sealed it's fate. But this is the only song in this countdown not to score a single 10, only managing multiple 8's and a couple of averages of 7's and 6's, but again brought down by the final 2 0's in the end.

These are two of her weakest singles. Her collaborations improved the last two years.

Ever since you left I've been a mess

16. Get Back

Avg: 6.659 Highest Rates: 10 (Cody Slayberry, Bartsimpson), Lowest Rates: 0 (LeeWallace)

At #16 is the first of her solo performances "Get Back" which is a nice enough song, but doesn't quite rank as one of her best, but still likeable. Released in August 2008 as the lead single from her debut album "Don't Forget". The song performed quite averagely on the US Top 100 by peaking at #43 and selling over 500,000 copies and earning a Gold disc, but didn't make much impact anywhere else.

I feel a separation coming on

15. Remember December

Avg: 6.717 Highest Rates:10: (Cody Slayberry, Cameron), Lowest Rates:2: (Apricot), 3: (Taylor Jago)

At #15 is "Remember December" released in January 2010 as the 2nd and final single from her 2nd album "Here We Go Again", and showed a different sound than her previous pop rock to a more power pop and synth and despite a positive reception, the song was unsuccessful on the charts by peaking at #80 in the UK and failing to enter the US Top 100. On here though it did manage 2 10's and 12 other high rates, but also 8 middling and lower scores brought it's average down.

A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the Queen

14. Let It Go

Avg: 6.833 Highest Rates: 10 (Ultraviolence1989), 9: (Liam, Cody Slayberry, Acidburn, Ryan, Nick, Taylor Jago, Insmnio) Lowest Rates: -1/0 (Davidson, LeeWallace)

At #14 is "Let It Go", and now this is a shock, I was expecting this to be a lot higher and up until the last minute rates this was placed at #12, but due to the last minute of low scores it dropped to this position. Also honestly I was quite surprised that this only received 1 10, thought it would have had more, but did manage quite a few 9's. But also quite a few low scores as well, probably due to the fact that this was played to death over Christmas last year and a lot of people got sick of this and the Idina Menzel version. Released in October 2013 as the lead single from the Frozen movie soundtrack and the songs writers selected Demi to cover it due to her own personal life. When released the song became a success by hitting top 40 in several countries such as South Korea, New Zealand, Belgium, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Canada, Ireland and USA. But the following year Idina Menzel's version was released and well and truly overshadowed Demi's version and became a much bigger hit.

Demi > Idina.

Idina literally sounds like a screeching cat in her version.

Just a lesson that we've learned

13. Don't Forget

Avg: 6.976 Highest Rates: 10: (Liam, DionTheSats123), Lowest Rates: 3/3.5 (Davidson, Taylor Jago)

At #13 is the beautiful "Don't Forget" taken as the third single from her debut album of the same name in March 2009 where it became the album's best performing single by reaching #41 on the USA Top 100. This song received mainly positive scores with 2 10's, 3 9's and mainly 7's and in fact only had 4 low scores.

Don't Forget is way too low, stunning song <3

No other real losses, I really like Let It Go (and the others tbf) but that's not a surprise. Rememebr December is my least favourite of all her solo singles (if you swapped that and Get Back here that'd probably be my bottom few in the same order).

I tear you out of my heart

12. Here We Go Again

Avg: 7.181 Highest Rates: 10 (Liam, DionTheSats123), Lowest Rates: 3 (Taylor Jago)

At #12 is "Here We Go Again" released in June 2009 as the lead single from the album of the same name, and also the last of that era to feature in this countdown and finishing 3 places higher than it's only other single "Remember December". The song became her first solo top 20 hit by reaching #15 in the USA, therefore becoming her first big solo hit. This managed several high rates with 2 10's, 5 9's, 3 8's and overall mainly positive. This also marked the first time she worked without the Jonas Brothers on an album or solo material.

I'm not a supermodel, I still eat McDonald's

11. La La Land

Avg: 7.562 Highest Rates: 10 (Liam, Cody Slayberry, Nick, Nick F1, Bart Simpson), Lowest Rates: 2 (Taylor Jago) 4:(Jark)

Just outside the top 10 is "La La Land" which is the last of her solo early era singles, released in April 2009 as the 2nd single from her first album "Don't Forget". The song itself speaks about not fitting into the Hollywood mould and not changing who you are and received a very positive reception. In the USA it became her 3rd single to chart on the US Top 100 by peaking at #52 and selling over 900,000 copies. In the UK it became her first solo top 40 hit by reaching #35, as well as becoming her first solo hit to chart worldwide by charting in Australia, Ireland, Germany and Spain. This was close to getting into the top 10 on this countdown and has had several decent scores including 5 10's and 8 scores of 8's and 9's.
