(yes I went through all the previous TBOs and farmed out all my entries that narrowly missed progressing from stage 1, it was a valuable use of my time)

Being optimistic and hoping I get three entries in the semi in the form of BORNS, Truls and Caravan Palace! Francesco has no chance unfortunately but hopefully he can do a little better than what he did in BJSC 74.

Fingers crossed another one of my entries can join PVRIS!

As if this wasn't tense enough!

A few extra details, I envision this to work in 3 stages:

 

1. ELIMINATED AT BOOTCAMP

The countries that haven't made the top 14 will be revealed in reverse order.

 

2. TAKE A SEAT!

From the top 14, a random 7 of them will automatically take up a seat and be in with a chance of qualifying for the TBO semis.

 

3. SWAP OR NOT?

The other 7 will then take to the stage one-by-one. If they are to take a seat, they will have to knock one of the current seat holders out of the competition. Or they could be sent straight home. This will only work effectively if we have lots of you guys shouting "SWAP!!!" or "GET RID!!" as each contender comes to the stage and if it's the former, shout who should be swapped out! Even if a country is swapped in, they could still be swapped out later on. No-one is safe until the very end of the round!

 

The 7 countries sitting in seats at the end of the round will be our 7 qualifiers!

 

I hope this won't be too confusing for non-X Factor watchers but we shall give it a go and see how long it takes and how well it works. We may end up swapping back to the normal system but we shall see.

In effect, you will all be the audience shouting what you want to happen but at the end of the day it's the judge's decision! But yes, the 7 at the end will be the 7 with the most points from everyone's votes over the past few days. :D

So the audience participation thing doesn't affect the results?? If not then I don't really get the whole point of the SWAP OR NOT seems very confusing :unsure:

That's just a way of you showing if you want the country to qualify or not that's all! For example if Bignia-Zaragovina was up on stage with The Shires, I'd be shouting swap because I'm obviously a big supporter of them and want them to qualify and I'd probably want to get rid of Persephonia. But of course the final decision rests with the votes that have been cast over the past few days. It's just like a normal results thread but with a little theme attached.

I swear if Xyconstant do it well doesn't get through I will rampage
