my anxiety attacks Joined: 15 April 2009 Posts: 30,756 User: 8,674	Hope Brade have a cinema date penciled in to see this ai3hleBXRpo I've read the couple of books that this is based on so excited to see it on the big screen, looks like it's been dramatised a bit during the adaption to make it more 'exciting' or interesting as there are moments in the trailer I don't recall / remember happening differently.

my anxiety attacks Joined: 15 April 2009 Posts: 30,756 User: 8,674	Referring to the cat eating the cornflakes, "they're better with milk", wonder if Jade agreed with that line I kept wondering how much was in line with the book and how much was added / changed slightly for drama purposes, mainly the stuff with his father and Betty. Some of it felt dodgy like Joe said, obviously didn't have a huge budget but the cat(s) were so cute and I loved the cameo from the real James at the end.

I wasn't familiar with the book so I had no pre-judgements coming into this. Really enjoyed it anyway! Bob was utterly adorable and the story was really heartwarming. Cats always get brownie points from me really as a self-confessed crazy cat lady x
