Thanks for getting your nominations in, we've had more than ever before meaning for the first time 5 nominations were needed for a qualification. The shortlist has 49 songs this year which can be found at the end of this post.

Some fun facts before we get going:

• last year's "winners" Chris & Kem didn't even release a follow-up single so we will definitely have a different act taking the "prize" this year.
• 2016 winner Calum Scott is back however after not making last year's chart, as is 2014 winner Jason Derulo (as for 2015 winner Silento, we most likely won't see him here ever again), so we could get our first repeat victor.
• the most nominations were given to 6ix9ine's 'FEFE', which got 15 of those. Last year Chris & Kem also received the most nominations, but whether this year's nominations round is as good a predictor remains to be seen.
• Eminem gets the title of most hated act this year, with five of his songs making it to the shortlist. Other repeat offenders include Cardi B, Drake, Nicki Minaj and XXXTENTACION with 3 songs each, and 6ix9ine, Anne-Marie, Bebe Rexha, Ed Sheeran, Kanye West, Lil Pump and Offset with 2 songs each.

You may vote for up to 15 songs (or at least 10 if you can't find 15 you dislike) using the following format. You have until Sat 24 Nov 23:59 with results to commence the following evening.
