![]() This week I want to thank the following 11 people who viewed and commented on my personal chart last week: Rob., SSP, JSG, AdamG, Frenchie, Mangø, Sergej, Klumzee, seltinpixmile, Jade and danuary. Responses to your comments are in the below post. ![]() So another week, and another change at the top. RAYE & Rudimental have returned to #1 for another stint after just a week for Rina Sawayama. Regardless is the third #1 of 2021 and continues to maintain a strong chart run despite not yet breaking into the official UK Top 40 singles chart. Nathan Dawe & Little Mix are this week’s Track of the Week and climb into the Top 5 for the first time. The Weeknd also continues to climb to a new peak and Tiësto returns to the Top 10 with The Business. 5 new entries and one re-entry come into the chart for this week, and the highest peaking new entry is from Bicep, whose latest album is out today. Sundial enters at #18, and there are also climbs for Apricots and Saku following the album’s release. As well as Bicep, there are new entries from NERVO, Anne-Marie & KSI, Rudimental and Kevin McKay as well as a re-entry from John Summit following the release of the official music video for Thin Line. As already mentioned Apricots climbed this week, and it was in fact the largest climber of the week moving up 14 places to a position just outside the Top 10. Steps have fallen the most this week with What The Future Holds, but could their latest single The Beat Of My Heart enter next week... Exiting the Top 40 Countdown this week are David Guetta & MORTEN, Solardo, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, KC Lights and Diplo & SIDEPIECE. Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my personal chart this week. Comments are welcomed of course, and I hope I can make time to take a look at your personal charts also both for future inspiration and to acknowledge your hard work at putting it together too! ![]()

Hi Wardy, Hi Rob! First of all I'm going to pretend that I didn't see Sweet Melody dropping out of your chart and scroll back up to the pretty colours! ![]() Happy to see Lucid has reached the top! Also loving the climbs for Ava and Nathan Mix, hope to see Kylie join them too - Say Something was in my top 3 songs of last year, it's so good! Will have to check out the KUU track, I really loved How Could I Love Again, and after seeing everyone chart it so high I'm going to have to revisit Regardless and give it another few listens. Great chart! ![]() So what you’re saying then is as long as I dazzle you with pretty colours each week it doesn’t matter what I choose to put in and take out my chart then? ![]() Say Something would easily have had a longer run by now if I had charted it at the time of its release, but I didn’t keep a personal chart at that time. It will probably start to fall away now. What did you think of KUU and Regardless after you had a few more listens? Thank you for your comment! ![]() Great to see Ava Max, Shane Codd and Miley Cyrus in the top 10! Hi SSP! ![]() ![]() Pleased you like those entries, all of which remain in the Top 10 this week too! ![]() Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hey Wardy! Hi James! I could have sworn I'd commented on this chart already ![]() ![]() 34+35 is really good although I don't think I'll be charting it. I did have it on my playlist waiting to add to my rotative playlist but I removed it the other week and I doubt I'll be adding it back. Omg nooooo. Paloma missed the top 10 after all that ![]() Ooo Dreamquest sounds quite good *.* Poor brave Golden with that fall ![]() Also, what the actual heck at Easy. Why is it flopping here grr. Great chart! ![]() Yep, I thought for sure that LUCID would be #1 for more than a week, but it wasn’t to be... for now at least. It’s a bit of a late add again for 34+35 but I felt like giving it a few more listens in the last couple of weeks, hence the chart entry. ![]() Sadly Paloma Faith reached her best position for me, which is rather good all things considered, but it is starting to feel a bit overplayed now. ![]() Glad you enjoyed listening to Dreamquest which climbs slightly this week. Harry is indeed out, and Troye is clinging on by his fingernails for a second week! ![]() Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hey Wardy! Hi Adam! ![]() LUCID is a great number one! I only just heard it a few days ago and I do enjoy it, not sure if it'll enter my chart though, we'll have to see. Ava with the new peak at #3! You love to see it! ![]() ![]() Prisoner stalling at #5 ![]() Space still top ten ![]() GREAT TOP TEN THIS WEEK! ![]() ----- Other tracks I'm loving here; The Business, i miss u, 911 ![]() Great chart again! ![]() ![]() I hope you come to enjoy LUCID some more, would be nice to see it chart for you soon! However it only manages one week at #1 for now, will have to see if it can climb back in the near future... I think unless Ava puts out her official video this week my interest in the song will fade and I can see it falling out of my Top 10. ![]() You’ll be pleased to know Prisoner hasn’t stalled at #5 this week but climbs to #4! ![]() Glad you like Ariana & Becky still, even though their songs have been around a while now. Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hi awardinary! Hi Frenchie! I checked out 'LUCID' this week and it really is a great track so is very deserving of your #1! Great to see 34+35 enter also. It's not my favourite off the album but it's still a nice track. Great chart as always! ![]() ![]() Glad you enjoyed hearing LUCID, a deserving #1 for sure! ![]() Ariana Grande entering was a delayed response, but glad she’s in the mix now. ![]() Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hey Wardy! Hi Mango! Glad you took my advice and moved Ava up to #3. Now if she could just climb to #2 next week that would be great ![]() Shame Shane Codd's no longer number one but obviously I'm more than happy for Rina to be occupying the top spot with her bop ![]() I'm not a big fan of 34+35, I much prefer Ari when she does commercial pop so I'm not really feeling this latest era of hers very much. Good to see 'Say Something' doing well, even if it's a few months late ![]() ![]() Well, I may have taken your advice, but Ava will stall at #3 unless she can put out an official music video to reignite my interest in the track, otherwise she will inevitably have a fall real soon. ![]() Shane had enough weeks at #1 for my liking, but it’s still an enjoyable listen, just falls slightly again this week but remains Top 10. Commercial pop will always triumph over what can only be described as album tracks, hence my dislike of the new Ed Sheeran song. However for Ariana, I found after a few listens that 34+35 does sound a little commercial but less so than positions did of course. In response to Say Something, I charted it very late due to not keeping a personal chart at the time of its release, but if I had done it would have had a long chart run by now, but my interest has already peaked for it sadly after plenty of listens in 2020, so no it won’t be making my Top 10 at this late stage unfortunately. ![]() Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hi Wardy! Hi Sergej! Nice to see "LUCID" at #1 and "Save Your Tears" reach the top 10! Great chart! ![]() Glad you were pleased with my choice of #1 last week! Save Your Tears continues to climb for me here too! ![]() Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hey Wardy! Hi Patrick! 1. Rina Sawayama – LUCID [6-2-1->3] newup.png 2. Mark Ronson – Easy [31-39->2] Nice variety of songs and I'm going to listen to a few of them I'm not familiar with! Glad to see LUCID at #1 now even if it's not going that way in my own chart! ![]() You’ve picked out some really good ones from the bunch there, were you able to give them a listen durian the week? If so what did you think? Shame that LUCID already peaked for you, but it has been out a while now hasn’t it. I wonder if it could return to my #1 in the future. ![]() Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hey Awardinary, Hi seltinpixmile! I Miss You dropping hard ![]() Levitating dropping hard ![]() Tiesto climbing ![]() Nathan and Little Mix coming for the Top5 ![]() Ava almost N.1 ![]() ![]() Yeah i miss u has really been overplayed for me, I’ve lost interest at this stage and I want the next single from Jax Jones to come! It’s the same story with Dua Lipa, I mean Levitating is definitely one of the best singles she’s released so far in her career, but I have played it too many times that I risk disliking it if I keep repeating it anymore. ![]() Tiësto has climbed again to regain his Top 10 presence this week. It remains to be seen if he can climb further and achieve a new peak though. ![]() Great prediction for Nathan Dawe & Little Mix, they came for that Top 5 position and took it with force! ![]() Sadly Ava is not yet #1. Thank you for your comment! ![]() Hey there Wardy Hi Jade! ![]() ![]() Wow, great to see Ariana nabbing that highest new entry spot ![]() I also really like 'Dreamquest' and 'Open Your Eyes' from the new entries - some great dance music around at the moment ![]() Fab chart ![]() ![]() Yep I was sure Ariana would grab your attention! I have listened to the remix once so far, and it’s ok, but I prefer the original myself. pov needs to get pushed soon for single #3 though doesn’t it. Thank you for introducing me some some great dance music recently, and if those two that you mentioned were in your chart at some point then I thank you for the recommendations! ![]() Thank you for your comment! ![]() |

great to see Lucid make it to #1 here, as you've seen that's now made my top 40. Hi Dan! I'm not sold on 34+35 sadly, your other top 10 arrival in Save Your Tears may well make the lower reaches of my chart soon however. the Imanbek song has potential too, will have to give it another listen. ![]() I did indeed see that LUCID made your Top 40. It would be nice if the same could be said for it on the official UK Top 40 singles chart too. ![]() It took me a while to be sold on 34+35 but I have been listening to it more of late which is why it deserves to be in the mix for me. Looking forward to seeing what Save Your Tears can do in your chart soon. The Imanbek song is quite decent, but much the same as other music of that genre at the moment. Thank you for your comment! ![]() |

Hey Wardy!
Good #1 with Regardless there! I'm taking so long to chart it that I'll probably be fed up by the time it entered ![]() Omg no at Lucid. How disappointing ![]() ![]() Space still top 10 ![]() ![]() The Business climbing back into the top 10 *.* Fooking yasssss. Goldmdidnt quite go top 10 but it's holding on very well. I'm still.not ever it yet although it did slip out my top 10 last Monday. I've added Nervo & Don't Play, both to my watch later playlist on YouTube. Great chart! |

Wow, what a great chart once again. It's great to see somebody which such similar music taste to me ![]() Regardless back at #1, I'm not surprised! I can tell that you really love it. interesting to see Regardless back at #1 here after 4 weeks, hopefully Smiley Miley can leapfrog Ava and be the next #1 here.
Apricots getting a big boost from the album in this chart then, I think it'll do likewise for me, I did enjoy the album. also enjoying Be The One and particularly Don't Play from your new arrivals. |
