Anyway since I last posted in this thread it has gone top 40 in The US, Canada, Australia & New Zealand. But it has gone a step forward in the Netherlands and gone to #3 there! Hopefully will break the UK top 40 next year.

Surprisingly they've (Uzi uses those pronouns now a la Sam Smith) never made the top 20 here, although 'XO Life' and 'Bad and Boujee' were much bigger than their 25 and 30 peaks suggest).

Have seen a lot of people saying this song sounds like an unfinished demo and I do see what they mean but I think I am on board with this anyway, definitely feels quite unique and a breath of fresh air (though that may just be because I'm not very well acquainted with this particular subgenre so this is basically my first exposure to it).
