The top 2 highest new entries are both contemporary classical works. Adagio for Notre Dame is a soundtrack for the documentary about the recovery of Notre Dame, while Can you hear me? is a choral composition first performed in 2021 but only released a studio version a few days ago. Eurovision entries continue to feed into the top 50, featuring both Austria and the United Kingdom. Choral work All Seems Beautiful to Me climbs to number one, first number one composition from Eric Whitacre, after Deep Field did not top the chart in spite of a respectable position in the year-end chart. March 23, 20232 yr Author Number One Entry qmJMJMnV1mI I remember back in secondary school I used to join the choir and we sang some of Eric Whitacre's works. They are intriguing as the pieces use complex chords which sound dissonant at first but Eric manages to resolve them beautifully. I think the idea of resolution is centerpiece to many of Eric's works, which lead to utterly beautiful sound. This is no exception. It is beautiful and the collab with a small a cappella choir makes this sound intimate. Glad to have discovered it through NMF Classical. Highest New Entry yXi1wDVVZ-4 I love the incorporation of the bells and the organ in this piece. The grandiose and solemnity of Notre Dame is displayed, yet you can feel a tinge of sadness which links directly to the destruction of the church by fire a few years ago. Biggest Jump -5vs8tjiSyc The beautiful chorus melody with elegant harmony gets me here and it has grown on me loads. :wub: The instrumentation is nothing too special but is simple enough to do the trick. One to Watch n21YEsQy67E I was really surprised when I first listened to this track. I would've never clocked this as a Ummet Ozcan-produced track. He really breaks boundaries here. The incorporation of Mongolian instruments and throat singing with modern synths and beats is neatly intertwined. The drop is catchy too. It's probably one of the best EDM tracks released recently for me.

I'm not quite sure if I prefer this version or the original but ooft it's good regardless. I wrote a song is very very decent as well. I think the UK has a decent chance to do well this year again. We'll see I suppose! Mother is great. It's a perfect sample for her to use as well I think. Nice chart ^_^
