About This Club

Baby break the tension! Join the forum to follow Kylie's Tension tour and discuss eras past and present.
  1. What's new in this club
  2. It's probably not the sort of song I would have expected to see used on something like this, although it's arguably one of her biggest recent successes. I was pleased to see it added to the set list part way through the tour though!
  3. 84 on UK itunes 🙌 Good to see it on streaming channels I actually Really like this version
  4. Looking at the new release schedule this is only listed for a download/streaming release later this month and then followed by a vinyl. No word of a cd which im really disappointed about,
  5. Now available to download/stream along with the other KPOPPED songs:
  6. It's probably my favourite song from that era, and one of my fave Kylie songs ever! Sensational and should have been another #1! 😍
  7. Its scary when you word it like that, it was such a great time been a Kylie fan and little did we know that as successful as we thought she was when on a night like this was released there was even far far bigger to come.
  8. Like In Your Eyes, the sound, the atmosphere of the song, the visual and the video are perfectly synchronised from start to finish, not a thing out of place.
  9. The greatest song ever. Where did quarter of a century just go? 🤯
  10. One of my faves - easily in my top 5!
  11. Taken from Sophie's instagram. Sophie posted that Dannii was "shooting something very fun" and to "watch this space", but given it was at QVC I wouldn't bet on it being anything music related. Dannii commented "So great to see this kind and talented icon today - I am a mega fan ♥️"
  12. Breathe was one that appealed to one or 2 of my friends who aren't kylie fans. Where the wild roses grow was another that non kylie fans I know liked when I played it. Most of my circle know kylies big hitters such as head and lucky.
  13. Always preferred it to spinning around and it's a great song but I still prefer a few album tracks from the brilliant light years to it. It was also lovely seeing kylie score another top 2 with it plus an aussie number 1.
  14. It’s 25 years since ‘On a Night Like This’ was released as the second single from ‘Light Years’. Share your thoughts and memories below!
  15. Loads of my mates know I love Kylie - some aren't music listeners and the few that listen to pop only know CGYOOMH. When friends ask me to send them a few Kylie songs to listen to, I send them: Confide in Me All the lovers Spinning around Breathe BTDYK Padam I kind of not suggest Head at the get go (it seems obvious). I don't because whilst it's a great pop song, catchy as crabs , to me a Kylie song is more fun/pop/emotopop like ATL or SA (or even more recently, Hold on to now).
  16. It's been ages since I heard Dan's. I've recently been playing a lot of the 1st 3 PWL albums, especially Got to be certain, Turn it into love, and the singles from both EY and ROL.
  17. To be honest, I am less impressed by the lack of dancing really. 😑
  18. Good to see Kylie enjoying herself and doing things like this, but dont really like this version much at all.
  19. Hopefully thats next as its agreat track.
  20. Recall there being a few CD single reissues during the 90s but the sales would have been small. Think HMV etc would have catalogue singles in stock in small numbers in the larger stores. The good old days.
  21. Now, give us Rippin Up the Disco...
  22. Agree if its done right she could get another top 10 out of it on the right week.
